I have been using Rainbow for years for my hot tub supplies and service and they are top notch for sure! This is the second time Rainbow has done a major repair on my hot tub. Both times the work was done by Clark. He is WONDERFUL. very professional as well as personable. He kept us up to date with how things were proceeding and if he couldnt make it out to work on the tub he apologized and let us know when he could make it. the owners are wonderful too and have given valuable tips on how to keep our hot tub in tip top shape. I scheduled maintenance on my hot tub 4 weeks ago explaining had to be done by Oct 6. When I didn’t hear back with scheduled date after 3 days, called and they (talked to 2 different people) said they only schedule 2 days in advance and would call then. Received a call this morning, they’d be out today. At 6:30 pm I called and they said, we couldn’t make it. He said we’ll try to make it out tomorrow, and had no knowledge of when it needed done.I said, I want my info cancelled (had to give credit card # to get scheduled - or never -).I will lodge a complaint with BBB. This is the most unprofessional, incompetent, company I’ve ever encountered.

From John taking my order to Clark servicing my very aged indoor hot tub everything was smooth and easy, done within a week. They had all the parts and even a cover to replace my old one all at a reasonable cost. Thank you so very much for the upgrade from manual to digital! Our tub was down for a few years and is now back up and running like new! I’m amazed and very thankful. A customer for life!

Edits: Yes while on the phone the company told me they were too busy to take on a repair of our tub and they were not willing to make me pay for an inspection. However I told them that I could see 2 leaks that were not inside the foam and that I would be willing to pay for the inspection if they would just come look at it. They still refused to take my business. They also just assumed that it was a freeze issue, that was never mentioned by me. All I told them was the tub had sat in a friends yard for 2+ years not used. Then it was assumed by them that the issue was from freezing and that the issue would be too much trouble to take on without ever seeing the tub in person. Maybe it is due to freezing pipes but maybe it is not, it could quite possibly be an easy job but they were not even willing to check. Even after telling them I would pay and I could see the leaks, just didnt know how to fix them, they still refused service.Turned me away without even looking at our tub. Said it was going to be too costly of a repair and wasnt worth their time

Great service and great staff! Blake was very knowledgeable and friendly. I like that he did not pressure us into buying. My wife and I were considering buying a hot tub and went to sit in a few hot tubs to determine what was a good fit for us. I must note that prior to entering the store, my wife said, we are just looking, not buying today. However, after our initial experience with Blake, we decided to buy then and there that same day. Part of this split decision was the backorders due to COVID-19. The other reason was due to the customer service that Blake gave us upon entering the store. Blake worked with us on choosing a delivery date 6 weeks later. Delivery was a breeze, and all staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend buying from Rainbow. If you are considering buying a spa, these are the guys to see. Dont waste your time with anyone else, go with the experienced local guys here at Rainbow hot tub.

Everything went smoothly and the hot tub is amazing, I would for sure recommend buying from Rainbow. Make sure when you buy a spa to think about the cost of electric hookup. Electricians arent the most responsive and you can easily pay $700-$1200+ depending.My only suggestion would be for all new hot tubs, provide a starter kit of chemicals, testing strips and scented additive. You could also create a customer loyalty program to encourage customers to buy all the consumables and accessories from you in the future instead of just using amazon.I would also create some simple youtube help videos showing how to use the controls on each model you sell. Tips, when and how to adjust chemicals, etc. It would be perfect to be in the hot tub soaking while watching a youtube help video to setup the timer and heat. It also took me about 4 days to figure out the water fountain thing that shoots up from where the controls are.Also increase various accessories ie. furniture, décor, privacy, stands, and electronics that can compliment the hot tub. Even if you dont want to carry the inventory, create some sort of digital catalogue for shoppers to buy. You could easily setup a drop ship agreement with vendors. OR you can even do some sort of affiliate with amazon to get a cut of whats already in the amazon store that you would select as suggested products.

Rainbow did an awesome job replacing my tub side controller. Even though the part was on back order the team followed up consistently to confirm the status of the part. As soon as it arrived they installed the part quickly, explained what happened, and got the tub running good as new. I highly recommend them for all your hot tub needs!

This was a top rated experience throughout. I was given some initial suggestions when I set up my appointment, to keep the tub from cold-weather damage. When Clark, the tech came out, he was on time, efficient and went above and beyond to make sure that our tub was working properly. He took extra time to help me learn something about the water chemistry, and made suggestions for maintaining the tub once the weather warms up. He could have sold me a lot of unnecessary work and materials, but did not. This was a real professional and his good work reflects very well on this company. I would not hesitate to call them in the future.

After contacting several plumbers in my Marysville area with no results, I contact Rainbow based on their great reviews. We had used Rainbow Hot Tubs in the past and they were fair and carried out the job exactly as quoted.This time we were quoted around $350 for a job up front and we ended up being charged $670 surprisingly in the end for 2.75 hours of labor and a part that cost $100. Very disappointing.Needless to say this will be our last time ever using Rainbow. I would avoid like the plague unless they are your only option and I would avoid having any expectations that their original quote will match the actual job cost if you are stuck with them being your only option.

Came out to teach me how to use and take care of the hottub that came with my new house and they even helped clean out a pump for me that I brought in that I originally thought was broken. Updating my previous review. Rainbow did a good job getting me in a swimspa during covid. A hydropool 16ex trainer. However I received a defective cover and spent months trying to get it resolved. I previously had a 1 star review but finally got some good response after posting that review. I am now thinking maybe Hydropool was more to blame for the huge delay but will keep my review at 3 until I see how things proceed. I think if I would have received more frequent updates and pro active communication and check ins through the months, I would definitely rank a higher star and be more driven to believe hydropool caused the delay. However since I only got updates when I inquired or updated my review, I will stay at a 3. As far as the Hydropool swimspa, we love it but it is much more expensive to run than my previous endless spa which was the same size. I will attribute some of that to the bad cover but am not sure it all can be. I will update over the next few months as I see my electric costs. The chemical cost is lower as the pristine blue system rainbow recommended is awesome. The seat jets are adequate but not quite as powerful as my endless pool in my opinion. However the swim jets work better as they dont create such an undertow. The control panel is terrible in my opinion. Anytime it gets wet, you have to wipe it off before using it. Not a good design for a swimspa. Overall I love the swimspa. I liked working with a local business like rainbow. Wish they were a little more pro active in communication and put more pressure on hydropool to fix their mistake. I can recommend rainbow but if you have an issue, be prepared to follow up and push for resolution. I would probably not buy hydropool again compared to my endless spa. It has some nice features but probably not enough to justify the higher cost. Hydropool to this date would never respond to my inquiries. I would usually get a call from rainbow after my inquiry so I assume they got it but refused to deal directly with me. I feel Hydropool was more concerned with selling new spas than correcting my cover issue. I get covid delays some stuff but over 4 months to replace a defective cover that is costing a customer electricity and water seems a bit long. Thankful for the spa and the joy it brings the family during these pandemic times. Hope to have a long good relationship with Rainbow. Maybe hydropool will also prove me wrong and show they stand behind their product better. Time will tell.

A1 service. I’m impressed with how much Rainbow staff genuinely try to help over the phone before sending out a technician for a paid visit. We’ve had a few minor issues with our hot tub that were quickly resolved. The onsite visits are dependable from a scheduling perspective and Rainbow is always great with follow up calls to ensure the work was done correctly. Highly recommended.

Called for service because of a leak, water not heating up and noisy motor. After service there were still two of the three problems. I was charged a return visit fee for them to come back and fix what they didnt fix the first time. After second visit it is STILL leaking and not heating without me manually going out every hour or so to push the button on. Im guessing Im going to be charged ANOTHER return fee for them to come and fix what wasnt fixed the prior two visits. Why are the customers charged return fees for them to come back and refix what wasnt fixed right the previous time??? I was charged over $1,000 and I still have two of the three problems I called to get fixed. They charged me for repair that wasnt actually fixed.

The people are nice but I wouldnt advise buying one of their used hot tubs. Had ours less than three years before it started to leak, the motor went out, then the heating element. It was an expensive hot tub so I really feel like I was taken.

I was on my way out of town when I discovered my hot tub was not heating. The temperature was around 58F in the tub and outside temperatures were to drop below freezing. Rainbow Hot Tubs and Spa sent a technician out who diagnosed the problem and after notifying me of the diagnosis and cost, the technician immediately replaced the circulating pump. The hot tub was back up to temperature within 24 hours of the repair work just as the outside temps plummeted below freezing for several days. Their promptness, accurate diagnosis, and having the necessary parts with them when they came made for a fast repair. I would highly recommend Rainbow Hot Tubs & Spas.

They came out and diagnosed the issue with our hot tub a week before they had us scheduled because the tech was in the area. They called first to confirm we would be home too.Good communication and prompt service is a rarity now a days. I own my own business and really appreciate when I find a good one!Not only did they diagnose it early, they came back out 2 days later and replaced our circuit board and a few fittings and had us up and running right when this cold spell hit! Talk about great timing.I will be referring and using this company for anything and everything got rub from here on out.I highly highly recommend this company!!!

The professionals at Rainbow are very knowledgeable and were able to solve a difficult problem for us. We just purchased a home and the jacuzzi tub was not working. Folks at rainbow have a can-do spirit. They were not going to give up until the jacuzzi was operating to our satisfaction once again. Parts for the system were no longer available, but the technical repair staff found a creative, high quality solution at a very reasonable price. They guaranteed their work. Installation was difficult because of the very tight workspace available. The tub works exceptionally well again. We are very satisfied with the service that Rainbow provided and we intend to use them for all our future hot tub and jacuzzi needs.

I have a La-Z-Boy hot tub which has been riddled with issues. Rainbow Hot Tubs worked with La-Z-Boy to replace the central computer multiple times; even after the warranty expired. The end result seemed to be an issue with the computer. Most recently the tub stopped working again. Clark came out to replace a circulation pump. It turns out that I had not been caring for the filters correctly as well as there was an issue with the configuration of a relief valve. Clark very tactfully and professionally explained to me how to ensure the setup is correct.

I needed an old hot tub removed that was set in my deck. After calling around to various places, I found Rainbow and they gave me the best quote. The guys came out within two weeks and completely removed the hot tub in three hours. Throughout the process they didnt even touch the deck that surrounded the tub. Great place! Just purchased a home with a hot tub and had zero idea what I was doing. I went into Rainbow and said exactly that, and Blake walked me through each step of the process. Not too much info, not too little, but just what I needed to get going. He didn’t try to oversell me anything, which I’m grateful of because with my lack of knowledge who knows what I could have been talked into. When I walked out less than an hour into my visit (I ask a lot of questions) I had notes, a cheat sheet, a set up schedule, a maintenance schedule, all the chemicals I needed, and a phone number in case things went wrong. The delivery crew came and removed our old tub and installed the new one on a very cold day. Much thanks to them. They made what I thought would be an all day job look easy. In and out in about 90 minutes complete with a tutorial on operating the new tub.

We recently had Clark repair our spa. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything to us as he worked. He was polite and he made sure he left everything better than he found it. I would not hesitate recommending him to friends.

Always a great experience. Might not be the cheapest service around, but in my view the best. Ask for Clark for service. Hes very thorough.

Had an issue with the hot tube heater not working, Called Rainbow, spoke with representative, was able to get on schedule very quickly. Clark was the technician he checked it out, determined it was not an issue with the heater, but an issue with a control board. He was able to replace it same trip and hot tube was hot again by evening. Great service.

My experience with these guys was great. I have made several purchases with this company, and the service department, and plan to use them for all of my spa needs in the future. I would recommend Rainbow to anyone I know.

These folks just did a great job for me. Id tried miserably to fix my hot tub myself, and called them after Id made things worse and cold weather was coming. They responded immediately be email that evening telling me what to do to keep things from freezing, and had Brenda there within 48 hours. She was very pleasant, figured it out quickly, had the parts with her, and had tub up and running before she left. The cost was reasonable-reflected what theyd told me the trip and hourly charges would be. Very fair.

Of all the Hot Tub places in and around Columbus, they were the only one who moved my Hot Tub in a timely manner and with a professional attitude. The guys showed up at the house to retrieve it, had to call in reinforcements, and met me back at my place. Once here they showed me all the functionality of the hot tub, since it was my first, and even moved the hot tub cover bar for me so it would be placed correctly according to where it sat, without an extra charge.To be honest, if I had to move this hot tub again, I would definitely choose them. Another thing to note is that theyre a Cal Spas affiliated repair house, so now that I have my Hot Tub wired in, Im going to need to get someone to come out and check the leaks Ive found and Id wager its going to be Rainbow.Thanks guys!
