My husband built our inground salt water pool this year. Aquarius pools was so helpful with the construction process with questions we had. Logan is amazing and very knowledgeable, she has answered our questions, has given us advise and took the time to explain the filling and plaster process with what to do. Thank you Logan for making this process easier and for helping us.

Columbus has had many pool places over the years. Almost all of them have gone out of business. There are some new pool places now but I believe that Aquarius is now the oldest and the best. We now use them for all our swimming pool needs.

I use them for the free pool water analysis. Friendly staff great help keeping pool in balance.

Ive had my new Jacuzzi J-315 for about 45 days now. Ive been very happy with it for its relaxation/recovery ability after mountain bike rides. Going through Aquarius Pools Construction was a great experience. They were very professional and helpful in meeting my needs. Everything went perfect (ordering/purchasing, delivery, and initial setup). Every step of the process exceeded my expectations! Highly recommended for your hot tub experience.

Called for an inspection, got it set up and that was great. However I asked for them to call to explain and answer questions and got zero feedback. I even emailed. I understand businesses may be busy, but I felt like once I paid money that was it.

Pool construction and quality was good, but trying to get them to come back and fix an issue has been a nightmare after calling the owner and manager several times over a few months. After several promises they have yet to show up and fix the coping

It was the perfect spring and summer service. My husband had hip surgery and I wanted to ease his burden on pool cleaning and maintenance so we tried the pool service from Aquarius. The water stayed perfectly maintained for the entire season. The team that came to my house was friendly, helpful and very professional. I could count on them to be here every Friday which was great for weekend pool parties. Thank you Aquarius Pools!

I only give it one star because they never have what you need. They always have to order it and then you are left waiting. Not to mention the fact that they are way overpriced

Let me start by saying we have used Aquarius since they redid our pool and pump in 2011. Installers and workmen were great. No problems at all. We used them to test water and buy chemicals since that time. Great customer service! Today I phoned them about the salt system panel /display and system not generating chlorine. The employees spent a lot of time with me troubleshooting and scheduling a repairman to diagnose problem. Well, we solved the problem over the phone. What a great company! Wish all businesses took this much pride in their service. I have dealt with several pool companies in the past and Aquarius is by far superior.

To all the people that I had contact with during my pool project, I just want to say thank you. I had a new pool liner and a complete pool bottom redone and man let me tell you these guys went above and beyond my expectations. The ground crews I dealt with during this project are the most hardworking and professional guys I’ve ever had the pleasure to deal with; especially the worker that redid the pool bottom. This guy was like a surgeon with a trowel, it was like watching paint dry, but you couldn’t take your eyes off of him. It was that good. These guys are a little more expensive than other places but don’t let that throw you off. You definitely get what you pay for and it is done right the first time. In the future I would 100 percent hire these guys again. This is the best my pool has ever looked.

We bought a hot tub earlier this year. Delivery and setup was very smooth. The staff has been exceptional in providing service. They are very knowledgeable and personable.We sleep much better on the evenings that we get in the hot tub. Sure feels great in this cooler weather.

The employees are very helpful. They will go through all the steps with the customer. They will even give a free lesson on pool maintenance at your location if needed. The cost for equipment is pretty high compared to online equipment.

I have just finished having Aquarius Pools build me the most Amazing SMART Pool and Outdoor Spa. It is a custom built pool with features that you dont normally find in this area. The Pool was designed by me and totally adapted, constructed, and supervised by the owner Terry Ernst and his staff. I have designed, built and had constructed several homes in the past and never have I had such cooperation, efficiency, staying on schedule ( weather permitting ),attentiveness to detail, and fun building a project. From day one of construction his, men were extremely careful of the environment they were working in, having to navigate around the house, and nearby lake in which they were building the pool. They were very respectful of my wifes desires pertaining to regarding the safety and welfare of ALL of her animals, ( she rescues and rehabilitates thoroughbred horses and fosters dogs for East Alabama Humane and Dog rescue). They were also very Respectful, congenial and Professional in the manner in which they communicated and worked whenever they were around my wife, daughter at the construction site which was very close to my house and Lanai.From the beginning the staff expressed the attitude that this was our pool and they wanted us to be happy with it, and they were there for us. If you have ever had anything built you know that there will be some changes and modifications that you as the customer will want. This pool construction went so smooth, that the modifications we made were quickly addressed and made, ( no fuss, complaining or excuses ) almost as if the modifications were added from the start. Even the Pebble Tech Company that was subcontracted out of Atlanta arrived with the same, glad to be here attitude and efficiency.They were also very professional and efficient in applying a stunning fine pebble finish to the pool. The cooperation between the two companies gave you a sense of continuity that they had worked together before and respected each others expertise. One of the most pleasing aspects of the construction was that the clean up of the construction site was almost on a daily basis, where you didnt have tons of stuff and trash littered scattered around, of course there is equipment around the site but it was organized in such a manner that they were going to utilize it the next construction day. A month after the construction Aquarius Pool Co. came out to the pool regularly and made sure that everything was working properly and that all of our concerns, questions, and education about our pool and spa were addressed. As far as my experience with Aquarius Pools is that it doesnt get any better than this. I wanted the best, I got the best, and Aquarius Pools delivered

This is a review from someone who did not buy a pool from them. I have used this company many times for pool water testing and purchase of chemicals. Plus various equipment purchases. At previous locations with different companies (Texas and North Carolina) I was suspicious of the chemical recommendations because it did not match my testing and just seemed like they were attempting to make a little extra off of me. With Aquarius I have found them to be honest and provide good advice (such as with all this rain you should wait to add any x). They are busy but still try to provide individual attention and answer questions. They make a point of taking heavy items (like pool salt ) to your vehicle. Their pool salt ranges from $2 to $3 cheaper than the pool company across the street. Their display area is large (for a pool store) and they have a good variety of products. Their parking area is a little small for the amount of business they have (Columbus location). Their staff is knowledgable. You can find cheaper prices for some items online but I make a point to support the local store because other local stores are not that impressive and I would hate to lose this place. I am just a typical customer and not affiliated in any way with this store. Recommended.

We purchase our pool supplies through them and have had their pool cleaning service for a bit now. The cleaners are great and worked hard to get our pool summer ready! Highly recommend them!

When they have delays, the owner is very rude about it and shows absolutely no concern for the customer. His attitude is basically it is what it is so deal with it.The owner does not care at all about the customer once they get your money. The actual workers that they have work on your pool are very good, though.

I would not recommend this pool company to anyone. Horrible customer service. It’s all about quantity over quality with these folks. They don’t care to make their customer happy as long as they get their money. There is a major communication deficit going on between the owner, office staff, and workers. We have the owner ample time to make our unfortunate situation correct and he never contacted us.

I need a new liner and they came out very quickly and the price was very competitive with others I had already received. The difference was the liner they offered was 35% thicker than the competition. I placed the deposit, they right back out and did a detailed measurement. We cant wait to get it installed!!

These folks said what they were going to do and did it! They were there every day till it was finished. They even cleaned my steps going into the pool. It was the very best experience Ive had with this pool. Now Im totally convinced my pool is going to last me for years and when I need more service Ill use Aquarius pools.

ZERO Integrity. Cant rate their work because they wont do any. They do call occasionally to say theyll be here tomorrow. Tommorow has yet to come.

First, understand there are two companies by the name Aquarius pools. One is Aquarius construction, which has nothing to do with the pool maintenance guy, Joe, proprietor of Aquarius pools LLC. This review is about the maintenance guy, Aquarius pools LLC, and I suspect the other one star reviews are also about him.Word of advice: Run away while you can. Dishonest, untrustworthy, and even worse, completely incompetent! Did little work and used very little chemicals maintaining our pool, which was left a complete disaster! (We are out $$$ trying to reverse the damage he caused to our pool!). Also, on his first visit, he left our pool equipment in backwash mode, so when the pump turned on automatically at night, our pool drained 2, and below the skimmer level, by morning.Gave him a second chance; BIG mistake. Within a month and a half, he turned our beautiful blue Clearwater pool ( that we completely remodeled one year before ) into a slimy, green unhealthy pool, and refused to return our gate key after firing him unless we paid him cash for doing it!!!Second word of advice: he was referred by Home Advisor, which leads consumers to believe they are referring qualified individuals, but apparently does absolutely NOTHING to screen or investigate the companies they refer. Worse, they do very little, if anything, to protect consumers after theyve been notified of an issue, and will keep referring those bad companies until they accumulate a large number of complaints. No real difference between them and craigslist, so do a thorough background check before hiring anyone through Home Advisor! Personally, I will not trust them again, and doubt I will ever use them in the future.
