My daughter is Down Syndrome and has struggled with her hearing for a very long time. Our family has a history of hearing loss, plus she has small ear canals. A buildup of wax has to be extracted by the doctor on a regular basis. Usually every four to six months. Over the years, we looked into hearing aids, but we’re told they wouldn’t work for her situation. The frustration of having to constantly repeat everything we say to her, has taken its toll on her and everyone she is with. We were finally referred to Columbus Speech and Hearing, The technology has come a long way, and now she has hearing aids that allow her to hear sounds she had never heard before. It’s like a door opening to a whole new world. She totally loves her “Ears”! Thank you to Dr Kirk and Columbus Speech and Hearing, for giving my daughter the opportunity to hear what so many people take for granted. No more Huh’s!

I had a very positive experience at the center. The person who tested my hearing was attentive and helpful, but she did not pressure me to purchase hearing aids at the time. I was able to try out a pair of hearing aids for a week and they worked well. I will definitely be going back to Columbus Speech and Hearing when Im ready.

Absolutely the best place for speech therapy. I am so happy I sent my son here. My son was non verbal and in 6 mos he was able to communicate with us. Highly recommend to everyone.

My grandchild went from very limited, unclear speech (age 3) to clearly talking to strangers. Now they will start conversations with all sorts of people (age 13). Every therapist we had was excellent at finding ways to unlock speech. One item is appreciate is the quick check in process and promptness of appointment with the therapist. Having gone to other facilities for speech therapy, I highly recommend Columbus Speech and Hearing Center.

The audiology staff at CSHC is great, especially Ann and Emily. They have been nothing but helpful and supportive as I navigated my hearing loss journey. I recently received new hearing aids, rechargeable, and, couldn’t be happier. This pair replaced a pair I got in 2011. I’m able to better understand my young grandchildren, and can hear many high pitched sounds that I couldn’t previously. My audiologist was patient and professional throughout the process. Thanks.

My son developed a phonological disorder from use of pacifier. He used the front of his mouth to pronounce words instead of the back. We were referred to Columbus Speech and hearing and so glad I made that commitment! My son is now 17 and speaks perfect!!!! No one would never know he had speech problems when he was younger. Our family has had the pleasure of getting both audiology and speech services through CSHC for years. All of the services were always fantastic, affordable, consistent and provided with compassion and caring. We relocated to Florida and I regular mention how much I wish we had a program like CSHC here. And I always recommend their programs over the local Children’s hospital. Five stars!

Great experience with Emily. I needed an updated hearing test and inquired about new & updated hearing aids. I was able to purchase new ones and they even called back after finding out my insurance gave incorrect information. I was issued a refund for the amount insurance covered. Great customer service!

Very professional. Was a very helpful hearing establishment the years I went there. Dr Anna was the best. However she left and I found traveling to your office troublesome. (To far etc) actually Dr Anna’s intern works in Marysville and I have seen her for years.

I have been unable to hear since childhood. My hearing was so bad the U.S. Army had to offer me a discharge because they said I would have been completely deaf by the time I completed my 4 year contract. I finally came to Columbus speech and hearing when I turned 59 years old and I am now able to hear clearly. 49 years of annoying people because I was constantly asking people I spoke to to repeat themselves. I scheduled an appointment to see if I had reached the stage where I would need a hearing aid. After extensive testing, I was reassured that I wasnt at that stage yet. I felt that the audiologist had my best interest in mind rather than being anxious to sell hearing aids.

Fantastic experience with these folks. My daughters speech therapy with them has been helpful, and is something she really enjoys. I cant say enough good things about the quality of her instructor.

Easy to get an appointment. Technicians and audiologist gave a nice explanation of exam and results.My only issue is that my sister who has a mental disability had profound hearing loss in one ear. The audiologist said she would contact an ENT physician to follow up to make sure there wasnt anorganic problem. If not, she would need a hearing aid.I have called 3 times and emailed this audiologist to no avail for follow up. I am disappointed that they do not want our business and dont seem to care to follow-up with my sister. I will take my business elsewhereorganic

Everyone I spoke to on the phone was rude. No options for people that can’t afford the service and they won’t help recommend anyone else that is affordable. Kind of a huge let down, they don’t seem to actually care if you can’t afford them to. All of the reviews talk about how friendly and helpful everyone was which is not what I experienced at all this week. The evaluator that we worked with was friendly that’s about it. Facility is clean. Low rating for rude not willing to help staff.
