The pressure switch I was first given closes at -1.30 in/wc. I went to install the pressure switch and the furnace did not work, first time was my fault because I should have looked. They said their computer said negative and it couldn’t be wrong. Even though the original pressure switch said positive 1.30 in/wc, along with my manometer saying it was positive. I went to exchange the part thinking it was an oversight. Upon reaching the counter I was met with the rudest, condescending people I’ve ever met. I was told I was wrong and their computer was right. They refused to take the pressure switch back, or exchange it for the correct one. Their “hvac service tech” Kevin then gave me a class over the phone on how the heat exchanger is under a negative pressure because it is a 90% ruud furnace. Well I knew that, again more rude and condescending behavior acting like they were infallible. So after refusing to sell me a pressure switch that closed a POSITIVE 1.30 in/wc. I had to drive down to lute to get a universal pressure switch at the time of speaking with Kevin I did not remember where the port for this pressure switch was, only my diagnostic of POSITIVE 1.30 in/wc. Once I arrived back at the property I looked at the port, where do you think it was? IN THE FRONT SIDE OF THE INDUCER MOTOR, making it the positive side of the inducer!! I set and installed the universal pressure switch and what do you know? The furnace ran like a dream, totally ridiculous behavior. They know nothing about service or the parts the sell. The store is trash every time I go in and I will no longer buy parts from this store.

This place is a joke they will tell you they have Parts in stock when they dont and then they will send you to their other location telling you that they have the part in stock there and they dont have it either. I wish palmer-donavin still existed I hate this f****** place

Said they didnt have the Combs to do coil fens......????????? They didnt offer to order it for me just nope we dont have carry those sorry bye..... Customer service is horrible horrible at Robinsons especially over the phone..... Hope your experience is better than mine

Dont go in on a Friday you might inconvenience them.. very rude and they clearly didnt like there job.
