Ace has everything you would expect to find in a hardware store plus outstanding, personal one on one customer service always with a smile. On top of that they have a great unique gift department with things you cant find anywhere else in Columbus. Ive lived in many different cities in the US and there is always an Ace Hardware store with the same friendly people and unique as well as traditional merchandise in each and every place Ive lived.

We recently had Ace repair our mower. Ive had a few issues with it and was considering just purchasing a new one, so I wasnt going to put much $$$ into repairs. We were told $30 to $40 would cover it and it would only take a few days. Well, a month later its fixed and we were hit with $125 repair charge. There were no additional repairs done. They claimed it just took them longer and the additional is labor costs. Extremely disappointed in their deception and will not go there again.

Ive had motorcycle keys cut here for years. Now its suddenly an issue. Go to menards 😂

Wonderful service! Kind and courteous to those who cant/wont mask. They will be getting all my business from now on.

They always send rewards cards in the mail for $5 off for your birthday or money off next purchase for earned rewards but they never accept them. Everytime I try to use one its not valid on that item cant use on anything but a few items in store that you dont want anyway. At least at Menards you get 11% off of everything on sale or not.

Friendly and helpful staff. Has alot of older, cant find items in hardware. Kinda pricey.... but, thats your typical ACE....and is the place...as you know.

Found easily what I was shopping for as store clerk sent me straight to it. Checkout was starting to back up so Checker opened up another register to speed process. Good shopping experience.

Ace is my favorite hardware store in town because its so organized they have very friendly & helpful clerks. Most of all not only do they carry all the usual hardware store stuff but they have unusual items that the other stores dont have oh and they carry great plants in the spring

I have been trying to get a spare key for my Mazda 3. Mazda wanted between 3-5 hundred dollars. Jackie at ACE Hardware was able to do it for less than $70.:Thanks Jackie you rock!

Well...Ive been in here twice today, and they get two stars for having exactly what I needed! Cant give them any more than that. Staff wondering the store but no one wanted to help. Finally found some kid who showed a remote interest. When he didnt know where to find what I needed the person he asked for help snapped at him and treated him like an idiot for asking. When we got to the aisle I needed he advised me they didnt carry what I needed. As soon as he walked away it was right on the shelf in front of me. Then the checkout guy couldnt find me in the computer. Probably would have been easier if hed listened to me and spelled my name right when he asked for it. Worthless worthless staff! Ill drive to David City rather than come back into Columbus if I need anything.
