My favorite local gun store! Great group of guys that really take care of their customers!
Stopped by, said they were open, but doors are locked.Dont bother.
Why do they even bother to keep the doors open? Went in there on a Saturday. Not real clear where to even enter the shop. The door is solid, no glass or a sign or anything. Walked into the foyer and then into the main room. They had about ten pistols. Mostly old junk. All overpriced. Glock 44 (22lr) for $400. Really, this is $359 everywhere else. Probably about ten long guns as well. Hanging on the wall. Nothing to write home about with these either. Asked if they had ammo, they said no. They should really just close the doors and focus on gun shows. Another reviewer stated they weren’t open and the response was they were at a gun show. No reason to run a brick and mortar store if you don’t have inventory and prefer doing gun shows.
This is a small mom and pop shop, the owner is a hell of a nice guy! Prices are fair, ammo is short it is everywhere due to Covid and over purchasing by other gun stores. This guys prices are more than fair, I will in the future shop his store. I encourage everybody to check this place out, do a little business with him, help him grow his business. We need little guys like this in Ohio to keep Vances and Buckeye firearms Association LOL from doing what they are doing now.
Ive always had a pleasant experience in this location. Even before the operation changed hands, it was a nice small shop with easy to work with employees.
Great service. Very knowledgeable, great selection considering the size of the store. Had every gun I wanted to see.
This shop is very down to earth and knowledgeable. My AR was having some trigger issues so I took it in to see what the problem was. The gun smith quickly found the issue and recommended I reach out to the manufacture for a replacement trigger. The process did not take very long. Maybe a half hour max but they charge by the hour so I paid the standard fees. The gun smith stated that when I got the new trigger he would install it for me to cover the rest of time. I walked in to the facility about 10 months later and the gun smith held true to his word. Very professional and honest service. Couldn’t be more happy!!
A bought a rifle online and had it shipped to Excalibur Outdoors. They facilitated the transfer for me. The two gentlemen I dealt with were both friendly and helpful. All in all I had a positive experience with the store.
When you show up to a business an hour and a half after the posted opening hours youd expect the business to ACTUALLY be open right? Really wanted to check this place out but i guess thats not the case. 02/01/2020 i showed up at 10:30am and the door was locked and no one was there. I knocked to see they just forgot to unlock the doo. Nothing. Came back at 11:20am and the same thing happens. Your hours say you open at 10am on Saturdays so i expect the business to be open. Classic case of false advertisement...
Had an issue installing a new decocker on my Beratta a... After calling Aumillers in Westerville and being told, they didnt care to help with out charging 80 bucks just to look at it, because I started the job already, like they didnt want my business... I called Excalibur, and the gunsmith was on site and able to easily put it back together... Great experience great guys... Super friendly and reasonable prices...
Larry is my homie, love talking to the Irish guy.
Be aware, when they were gun envy they sucked. I doubt thats changed at all.
Closed on a Saturday at 1pm. Hours posted as 10-5.
Great people and service
