We do all of our shopping here. Best meat sales! Never had a single problem with anything. They support the community with Apples for the Students collecting receipts for local schools, cub scout popcorn sales & even donate to school events! We love Super Saver in Columbus!!

Store usually has what Im looking for. Downsides are that sometimes you wont find what you need because they might not carry that item (at all) or its out of stock. The other downside is that the staff are generally overworked because they are running with a short crew, it seems. Because of that, they can be rude.If youre in a hurry, this isnt where I would choose to go. Friendlier staff (and more of them) are close-by, at a nearby store.Also, make sure to check the best if used by dates on perishable items - bakery, deli, etc. A few times Ive not paid attention and then had to throw it away.

As of 10.13.2021, 3 weeks, no reply from a message left with the director.Placed an order for a luncheon and got a good meal. Decided to use them for another larger party. Deli confirmed what I wanted to get, said to call closer to the date. Deli manager to call - 3 weeks no call back. Called Tuesday, 10 days before event, no--cant do it. Asked to speak to a manager, rep said, store director will call you when he gets back. That was two days ago. Called Hy-vee and got it done. Misleading and left me hanging close to my party date for 100. No call into third day - gross disappointment. No problem, wont go with them for an event again.

I had super saver make me a memorial cake for my sisters husband and I like to say I am disappointed in the looks of that cake, I wanted it to look realistic, and it was like if some child got a hold of the cake and decorated it. My sister kept telling me that it was alright at least it was for her husband and he would have liked it to. I had another cake made from super saver a while ago and I am safe to say I will be going somewhere else for cake decorating. Oh and the woman who quotes me a price of $44.00 changed it to $55.00 when I picked it up and she was not in. Not good service!

I like Super Savor Their meat is taste better. I like their produce and bakery.I have to say I don’t shop their much because I have a Hy Vee plus card and have been getting free gas for a few months now.

Great place to shop, used to work there 13 years ago. To many memories for my hubby of his momma who loved Super Saver. Shes been gone 7 years now.

Best produce in town. Always fresh and good prices. They stock great select beef which should be choice cuts. Awesome deep fat fried chicken and they also have smoked ribs and whole chicken that is very delicious!

Need to lower some of the prices friendly employees but long lines Maybe try hiring better employees to stock there products bought some Kemp’s ice cream drumsticks and you could tell that they were not put into freezers in time to keep ice cream frozen so the cones were nasty and chewy not crunchy like they should have been totally disappointed 😢

Nice store with bulk food section. To me it is a fusion: I7/8 Aldis and 1/8 Earthfare. Good prices and you can get bulk fruits and nuts on the cheap.

Usually love shopping there. Today we stood and stood to get checked out. Only 2 check outs open plus the 10 items or less line. The plastic bags where packed so tight on the hanger u couldnt get them open! Hope next time will be better!

Having shopped in a Super Saver in a different town for years, it took a while to get used to the layout of the Columbus store but, now that we have a comfortable shopping layout, things are easy to find and almost always in stock.I wanted to stress that this store did a great job through the toilet paper/hand sanitizer/disinfectant wipe shortage. You did have to come early on the days these items were stocked, otherwise theyd run out, but the staff worked hard to get their customers what they needed as conveniently as possible.

Was there shoppin and my nephew had a plastic ball and was bouncing it and the store manager greg said something smart to him and i asked him what his problem was. ID like to Shuve my foot up hiz A$$

Only place in Columbus open before I go into work. That alone deserves 5 Stars

Its a decent place to shop for groceries.

Had to make 3 visits to get Diet Pepsi in 24 oz bottle 6 packs, and had to ask twice for help on the 2nd visit with no response back. Thanks to Dan the grocery supervisor who helped me on my 3rd visit to get me the Diet Pepsi I wanted. No need to have a display in place if you arent going to restock it when its empty!!

Horrible service. I understand maintenance needs to be done but o my 24 hour grocery I’m town. My child was sick go in for fever meds and they wouldn’t allow me to go through the isle because their waxing. Yet wouldn’t grab it for me either. Rediculous

Didnt have anything we wanted this time so went to Walmart in Norfolk and dislike that store big time

Well stocked, produce department gets 4 stars. Meat department gets f4 stars, their deli chicken is better than KFC heads down, fully manned cash registers get you out fast, self bagging assures proper staging of your items.

Super Saver is like a warehouse type grocery store. In my opinion they have the best produce anywhere in town. Their bakery and deli have more common selections like things your grandma would have made.

Friendly people! Your regular hometown grocery. Complete with butchers, smoke house products, unbelievable deli counter, reasonable prices.(The BEST fried chicken in town.) FAVORITE place to shop.

I went late, parked close to the doors and didnt have to wait in line. I was in and out in 5 minutes and thats why I go there.

I don’t always enjoy shopping at Super Saver. Being disabled makes their design at the cash registers very difficult and physically taxing on me. I can’t do a lot of shopping there for that reason. However, they do have some great sales that no one else can touch. Their deli and bakery also have very friendly staff and their prices are fair. The deli meats are high quality and there is always a sale going on with staff always around to cut what you need. Their produce section is excellent with lots of good looking options. When they advertise a meat sale, like they had last week, it’s a real sale with amazing prices on good cuts of meat. I have a service dog and I have had no issues with anyone in the store giving me any problems about me needing a dog or getting in my way while I’m trying to shop. All in all it’s a pleasant place to shop and would deserve more of my business if they would help me bag up my groceries and not make me feel like I’m in the way while the checkers just keep sending people through while I try to bag my own groceries and load them in my cart one handed.

Ordered fried chicken, baked chicken, and chicken tenders last Saturday from their deli for our family reunion. Totally Awesome!!! The chicken was ready to be picked up at the time we requested. Hot and delicious and very reasonably priced! Young and old at the reunion commented how tasty and fresh the chicken was --- a total homerun! Highly recommend.

They are so nice the store has alot of good sales .i got canned peas for 50 cents . And they are just a great store. Their bread is tastyAnd i try and stock up on canned vegetables every other month at least .they have a great variety for good prices. And i like that they have already bagged the bulk bin steel cut oatmeal. They also have the best selection of mexican and asian products in the area with not jacked up pricrs

Favorite grocery store!!! I love it!! Produce is the BEST and super fresh. Customer service is always on point. They arent always moving stuff around like at other groceries store so I love that I can go in and know exactly what Im looking for. Randy is amazing and he is the store manager, so helpful and amazing!! He works by the side of his employees and really cares about the store. Prices are great too, they have specials on meat all the time and great varieties of anything you can think of. My go-to store
