After hearing about our friend’s experience at The Smithery with Jen and Anne we knew that we wanted to go and do the same. With no experience or idea of what we were getting into, we left with an incredible experience and the rings of our dreams!Jen and Anne were so accommodating, patient, and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to make the day personal, memorable, and fun. Lunch and dessert was provided. It felt very Covid-safe as we were masked at all times. The Fort is also such an incredible building with a lot of old character and charm. I loved getting to look around during some downtime.I look at our rings all the time and am amazed that we made them with our own hands. This memory is going to last a lifetime.

One of the best experiences I have ever had... got to custom made a ring... it will be a memory I would never forget... I can’t recommend enough the professionalism of Jen & Anne. Always taking care of us and very detail oriented... The final results were amazing!!! Travelled all the way from Texas and was worth every penny! Thanks again guys!!!!

My fiancé and I did the wedding band workshop in April and it was so much more than we could have imagined. Jen and Anne were so great, so accommodating, and they thoroughly documented the whole experience, sending photos to us afterwards. They were professional, friendly, and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. All of the correspondence leading up to the workshop was quick, informative, and stress-free! Our rings turned out better than we expected and they walked us through every step so we did everything on our own. It was such an amazing experience that will be special for the rest of our lives! We are so grateful to them for much a memorable day! We could not recommend them more. This workshop is a must!

I cannot recommend The Smithery enough!! My now-husband and I participated in the ring workshop on March 28th. The sign-up process was in-depth and thoroughly explained, the price-point perfectly reasonable, and the actual day-of a delight.I thought we would be sharing the workshop with a slew of people (in hindsight, not sure why I thought that would work haha) but it was a nice one on one experience where you get as much or as little hand-holding as you want through the whole process.It took my husband and I about 6 hours to make the copper practice rings and the actual wedding bands. They were kind enough to take a good number of pictures during the whole process, which worked great because I was FOCUSED!An amazing experience for wedding, anniversary, or any special occasion.

In February 2020, my fiancé and I made our wedding bands as part of the Wedding Band Workshop. Jen and Anne were fabulous to work with from the initial consult all the way to the final polish of our very own rings, made with beautiful materials and expert guidance! This workshop is such a wonderful experience and we highly recommend it. We also got a chance to visit the shop and WOW! So many exceptional pieces of jewelry and art. What a lovely experience with lovely and talented people.

The Smithery provided one of the BEST and most memorable experiences we have ever had. We participated in a ring workshop in late 2019 (better late than never - sorry for the delay!) where my then-fiancé and I worked for 10 hours (!) with Jen and Anne to create custom made wedding rings for each other. They cared so much about the outcome of our rings that they completely committed to our project and the result was amazing. They thought of everything, from the step-by-step explanations, to a planned lunch and a beautiful congratulatory bouquet of flowers :). The care, instruction, and attention to detail of these artists is just incredible - its unreal that such a special and personalized service is within reach for anyone who wants to skip the traditional, overly-commercial process of finding a perfect ring. The prices are SO reasonable and being able to support local (extremely talented) artists is just the icing on the cake. This was my first experience in metal work and I learned so much in this workshop ... I now have a much greater appreciation for the process behind jewelry crafting! My husband and I have beautiful rings with tons of sentimental value that we can admire for the rest of our lives and an awesome memory of our pre-marriage prep - thank you Smithery!!!

I found this place while searching for classes / workshops to take. Great date night ideas. The Smithery is a quaint, local jewelry store that also offers workshops. Been here twice, so far. Too cool. Purchased for (2). First, the people working here are happy. You can hear their conversations as they work and I cannot help but to smile and chuckle. They enjoy the work and certainly each other. The jewelry here is unique. Different styles, shapes, colors. Different artists. Many price ranges are represented. Great place all around. Theres always something new to see here. Various mediums available and they also have classes in their newly remodeled metalsmith studio. This is a locally owned business. Highly recommended!

Great shop to find unique quality hand crafted jewelry and goods for the home in a range of prices. The folks there are friendly and helpful. They even offer some fun classes for you to make your own jewelry! Well worth the visit if you are in the area.

Awesome little shop. Great people, great idea, great jewelry, great ideals to serve the bigger community. Very affordable for what you would think of artisan jewelry and an artisan shoppe. During the great plague of 2020 they are selling masks and using proceeds to provide PPE for healthcare workers. Amazingly beautiful and kind, caring endeavor. They earned a lifelong supporter in me. You should support them, too!

This is the place to go for custom jewelry. They are beyond helpful and friendly, and if you dont find something you love, you can have it made or sign up for a workshop and make it yourself!

You cant find a cooler place in Columbus. Style, design and workshops are always worth a stop. Workshops are good value and you come out of them with a solid piece of jewelry.
