The were not in communication with me and it took them a month to complete my fence. I understand busy, but they did not even bother to let me know when they were coming and they had my money. They also over charged us. When they took the payment, they(the credit card company) charged us a large amount twice. It has been five days and we still have not received our money back. They told us that is between us and our bank. Meanwhile our money is in space. Be careful using them.The actual builders were very sweet. They let us know when they were taking a break and they were leaving for the day. They even let us know when they would be finished,

Called the company for a fence quote last Monday. The receptionist set me up for a representative to come by at 4:15 pm on Wednesday. I waited until 6:00pm no one called or showed up. I called Thursday morning to see what happened the receptionist said that she would see what happened and call me back. She never called so I called her back.She said that she was waiting on them to respond back to her. I called back on Friday and talked to a gentleman and explained to him and he said that he will check to find the representative and have him to come on by for the quote. Today is Tuesday 4 days later and no one has called yet. I don’t understand businesses that are unprofessional and straight liners. It seems that during this time of low customer turnouts because of the pandemic they would want to make money but maybe they got that big PPM check from the government they don’t need any business. Don’t do business with them unless you want to be lied to and given the run around.

The job was completed and great price but this place really lacks communication and organization. There was no time line ever established we had to constantly call them and the one that was provided was changed when workers told us they don’t come out on weekends after the company told us they would be. During the weekend we noticed that some poles did not have concrete, caps missing and the tension wire not installed. My in laws ended up having to go to the house and monitor the work to ensure it was done properly. If we hadn’t already paid a 50% deposit would have gone else were. You get what you pay for and this is an example. We had over 640 feet of fencing installed and they did get it done in two day.

They installed our gate four years ago. We have something wrong with the gate about every six months and they are slow to come and fix the problems but are never slow with their billing invoices. The arm they welded broke completely over a week ago and they’re giving us the run around about when and if they can repair it. Disappointed in customer service and quality of work.

Moody and his team did an awesome job on my fence, I am glad that I chose United Fence Company and I am very pleased with the work they performed. Stanley, the crew leader, was very professional and listened to what I wanted and they completed the whole job in less that a week including a whole day of rain. The drive gates they built are rock solid and awesome. Also, Ashley was very courteous and helpful to make sure I was satisfied with the work performed. Called them 3 time s for an estimate. ...lady says yep I see where you called last week,she then proceeds to say Im sorry we are just so busy we forgot about you. Second attempt....exact same response as before.Third attempt, I say do you guys not want business. ..reply...we have plenty. ......BEST 4 LESS CAME OUT THE FIRST CALL AND FIXED IT.....I highly recommend theses guys over United any day .

United fence goes above and beyond to help clients with their needs. They are honest and reliable. My favorite part is how creative they are, and all the artsy fence accessories they sell that are hand made there!!They are dog lovers here and helped #Chainfreedogs tremendously!! I cant say enough good about them.

Called for a quote and left a message with the team consisting of my address name and phone number. They called back within 1hr and their availability for in person evaluation and measurements was amazing. They came by the house at my convenience which was the following day at a time I requested. They showed up and knocked out the measurements extremely accurately. They called me back about 2 hours after they did the measurements for my specialty fence (375ft of 6ft privacy fence, 305ft of 4ft crossbuck barn fencing). Their pricing was better than anyone else I’ve contacted.We then were contacted by their office the next day and scheduled a time for install which was within 5 business days. The continuity was excellent as all business related items were taken care of by Ashley and all Installation work was taken care of by Moody and Daniel.Their working team who installed the fence were literally the BEST group of workers my wife and I have dealt with since building the home from the ground up.I told them what I wanted, how I wanted it, and when I would like for it to be done by. Their team is so experienced and personable that I got to learn that one of their workers had been with their business for over 30 years. That in itself shows how well managed their business is and how they take care of their workers.The fence turned out perfect! Honestly, I’m still amazed with how consistent and flat our fence is, all measurements are perfect from post to post and the team filters through their wood to ensure they only put the best quality lumber into your fence. I know this because I watched them do it.Don’t waste your time going anywhere else. I have called three times and email once in the last two months with no reply . Can not latch my drive through gate. I will never use them agai.

I am very pleased with the fence construction that the crew completed for me January 2013. The crew consisted of Mr. Parham, Mr. Watkins, and Mr. Kimble. I am very happy with the way the men conducted the operation and was surprised that it took less time than I anticipated, the crew was very professional and highly knowledgeable as evidenced by the looks of the fence and in the way they cleaned up the area when the job was completed. You must be very proud to have such personnel working for your company if not, you should be! I have had several local contractors working in and around my house and most if not all have not taken the time to clean up their mess when the job was completed, BUT YOUR MEN DID, all I can say is thank YOU and the CREW for an outstanding piece of work!

Called this company twice for a business quote after being recommended by another one of our contractors. After the scheduled appointments were no call no show twice, I decided to go with someone else. They must make money hand over fist to just turn down money. Dont waste your time with this company. Theyre a headache before you even deal with them.

Two weeks ago I personally stopped at United Fence because they were near where I live. I told them I wanted an approximately 30 foot section of privacy fence just to block adjacent yard views. I was told that would be no problem. We agreed on an appointment for the next day at 11am. Well, 11 am rolls around and my phone rings and its United fence calling. Were running a little behind and we could still come if you want. This of course was foreshadowing their service commitment to come. My time is valuable too and after twenty years in the army I am never late to appointments. If I even think Im running late, I call well in advance. But hey, sometimes stuff happens. Moody arrives at 11:15 and looks at what I need and gives me a written estimate. We agree on the price and we shake hands. Moody says we can do the job next week. We dont set a day, but its the week before Easter and my wife is happy thinking the job will be complete before we have the grand children over for fun in the back yard. I ask Moody to call and let me know and he agrees. Monday through Friday passes and nothing happens. I tear up the estimate. No calls from Moody or anybody at United Fence. I guess an old fashion hand shake and a written estimate mean nothing to United Fence.

These guys came out and knocked my fence out in basically a one work day with ease. We had a special request to place our gate in a specific area so our kids could walk through a path to school and United Fence gladly obliged. I couldnt be more satisfied with their service.

I called to request a quote on finishing a privacy fence. The young lady on the phone was very polite, and said someone would be out the next day to measure and give me an estimate. Unfortunately, they never showed up. No call, no estimate, just... nothing. It must be nice to be so busy that you dont need my money. I guess the fact that the most recent review (as of 3/12/17) of this business is from the business itself says plenty.

Went by to check on some prices at 1:00. Was told they were out to lunch and would be back in a few minutes. I went back at 2:30 and still no one was there. Spoke with a customer who had been waiting and he said he had a chunk of metal at the end of his driveway and couldnt get these folks to return his call to fix it. I see why they have such bad reviews. Going elsewhere.

Their communication leaves a lot to be desired. Ie: They do not.My fence LOOKED good and I initially gave them 4 stars. A month after they put up my fence, I had to renail the 2x4s. After doing this in 3-4 spots multiple times (I think the nails they used were too short) I called and asked them to come fix it. They said they would come out following week, when I called them they stated, we said we would CALL you back in a week. WHAT?Had another 250 ft of fence I needed done. Hired THE FENCE DOCTOR, who did an AMAZING job. Much better quality, better price...simply better.I finally got a call back from United after 4 weeks. The Fence Doctor had already fixed their crappy work, for free.

Terrible customer service. Got a price which we agree to then we agree to a sch to install the fence an gate they never showed up. I called them back an they said will be out next week never happen . long story short four calls four no shows cancel with them got another vender showed up the next day

Hired then to build a fence 7 years ago. From the first year I had issues. Boards popping loose, nails coming out, etc. I called them then and no response despite the guarantee. 7 years later it is literally falling down because they did not use industry standard 16 ft boards. They did not place the posts 18 inches in the ground which is industry standard. I have made four phone calls and they have not even returned my call. Extremely poor business. My next call is to an attorney to have them resolve the issue for me.

Never shows up to fix the fence. Each time I called, I was told that I was on the list. About 4 months have passed so far.

How they stay in business beats me. Called them and set up an appointment to come see job, someone came out, but said there was too much going on at the time and they would come back later on. Fast forward a week, called and set up another appointment, guess what, a no show. Called again and set up another appointment for the Friday before Labor Day, was given an apology about the previous missed appointment and was assured that someone would be out to the job site after lunch. Fast forward to Tuesday... I receive an apologetic call, they completely forgot to come out, they left work early for the long weekend, blah, blah, blah, but that they would be out at 1:00pm that day, they promised, but guess what, THEY DIDNT SHOW UP, AND HAVE YET TO CALL OR APOLOGIZE OR ANYTHING. The appointments were for Carefree Landscaping, any call made to United was by myself or Tommy Martin so not sure why my name wouldnt be on any appointment sheets..... but the company name is Carefree Landscaping. The last 2 calls I made/received I spoke to Daniel Mitchell, who is the General Manager according to his business card

Very unprofessional company all around. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate for an iron gate 3 years ago and have been dissatisfied ever since. I got off work early to meet them for the estimate and they showed up 4 hours late, I should have walked away then but I didnt. I was talked into a different design than what I originally had in mind because it would work better, and was also talked into a safety eye. I have had nothing but problems with both ever since. I even had to get a competitor company to remove the safety eye because united fence would not come out and do it. (even though they charged me extra for it). The gate looked good once installed, but I have had problems every 3 months since. The whole reason I purchased the gate was for security reasons, and it has been not working more than it has been working. The posts were not set deep enough so they are now leaning and causing the gate not to close. Also the welds have broken 4 times and I am still waiting for them to be repaired. Each time I call, the receptionist is very nice and accommodating and says I am on the schedule, but the problem is no one shows up or calls. This has happened every time I need them to come out and fix something over the past 3 years, and the typical time frame frame from the date of the scheduled appointment and when they actually come out is 1 month. I have been on the schedule every 2 days now for the past 3 weeks and still no show no call every time. In summary, everything they installed has broken, they dont return calls or show up when scheduled and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We purchased our home in April, the seller contracted United Fence to install the privacy fence. After repeated (daily) calls to get an answer on the install date because we were promised it would be installed prior to move in, the gate was installed on the wrong side where you would have to drive across the septic field lines to get to, they finally came after repeated calls, and did the worst patch job on the gate I have ever imagined. I asked the gate be put on metal frames to prevent sagging but since they patched the gate too, boards are now coming off. I called regarding the boards that are coming loose on the fence, the gate, the patch jobs and the oil from their trucks that stained my drive way but yet again, no one will show up to fix the truly terrible job they did.

I am very upset with their customer service. I was in the business 1 month looking for some particular fencing. They said they were about to get some in and would call me. 1 month later, I had not heard from them so I called back and was told they had some but just got rid of what they had but they could call me when they got more. I already waited and you didnt call when you got some. Terrible customer service!!

Don’t really recommend ! I called at 9:30am to make a free estimate appointment to get some fencing for my backyard . I made the appointment for 2:30pm . It is now 4:52pm and nobody has came yet ! I called at 3:15pm to see what was going on and what was taking so long and the lady told me the guy was running late . I still haven’t heard from them or seen anyone ! Very disappointed in this business ! Bad customer service !!
