Cant say enough good things about this business. The people working there were knowledgeable and friendly., and had me in and out in no time. They fixed the meat grinder motor Id brought in and had it ready for pickup the next day. The price for the repair was their half hour labor rate, which consisted of replacing bearings that were bad. It speaks to their honesty because they could have charged a lot more and I would have been none the wiser. Id highly recommend them for any electric motor service.

Recently had a discontinued Doerr 5HP air compressor motor serviced. In need of total refurbishment, they were able to disassemble, replace bearings, any internal switches, replace start and run caps, clean all windings and internals of motor, many more things. They were able to return the motor to what I would consider to be a factory new condition, and is again powering my industrial air compressor. The staff is friendly, listen to the customer to understand the motor issues, and most importantly, they effectively deduce problems and resolve the issues with success. They could just have easily told me the motor was shot and sold me a new motor to make a sale, but they did not. Consider this business to be honest and customer oriented with a customer first attitude.

The motor on my furnace quit working. I called American Electric Motors and Spoke with Sara. She was very courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. I would refer this company to anyone without hesitation.

Years ago I got all of my pumps rebuilt here, it was the best/ cheapest place in town to get it done. They have gone down hill the past few years, I dropped off a pump several months ago, didnt hear from them, finally called, they said they were having trouble getting parts, going to try a few more places and call me back the next day. Few weeks go by I dont hear from them, I call them back they say they cant get the parts, come get the still broken pump.Sad, they were one of the few good mom&pop shops left in town. From speaking to them it sounds like they went corporate, figures.

Needed to replace a 35 year old attic fan motor. These folks spent a great deal of time coming up with a solution for me. Customer service was fantastic! If you need motor work this is the place to go. Great prices and truly professional service.

They have tons of electric motors and related supplies in stock. They are knowledgeable and easy to work with. If they dont have an dont match in stock, they can usually find something that will work or get it fairly quickly.

I had a wonderful experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. they had my motor for my furnace in stock and I was able to get in there quickly and get good advice on proper ways of installation and setup. I would highly recommend them and will be back for any future needs.

Another company sent me here for a furnace motor, saying, If anyone has it, American Electric Motor does! Indeed, the woman who helped me had it all figured out and assembled in a few minutes, and even told me how to hook up the wires. This is not your typical tradesmans supply where you feel a normal person shouldnt be. Its a great little family business, very helpful people.
