I had 7 new windows and new sliding patio door installed April 2020. A few screens arrived damaged, so I had to wait a few weeks for replacements (June 20). The screens dont line up completely around the edges, so there is a gap that bugs can come through. When they replaced the damaged screens, the tech also had to fix my patio door, because the installers didnt align it correctly, so the lock wouldnt latch properly (security risk?!?!?). The first time I opened my windows, the seals broke on a couple of them, and a tech came out to fix it (Sept 20). The installation contractors had damaged my pine window trims, leaving them chipped, bulging and unsealed. A year later (May 21), Pella diagnosed and agreed to come replace all of the pine trims, and they damaged the some of the stucco around the perimeter of them, still leaving them unsealed around the edges (June 21). Finally, I go to open my windows now that its cool out again (Oct 21), and the windows again are rocky and the plastic seals broken. The quality and workmanship are not worth the headache or the cost. (More pix to come)

Brian Kelley was very helpful in explaining our options, showing us the differences and benefits of each. He responded quickly, made time for our appointment on short notice and was respectful of our time. Good balance of being thorough with information while not wasting our time with unnecessary information and upselling. We have not had the install yet, but I highly recommend Brian for the information and knowledge.

The first week of September, we had someone come out for a quote to replace all of our windows. We were told wed have a quote by the end of the week, nothing. We waited another week, still nothing. I called in and asked what was going on and they couldnt get a hold of the sales guy who came out, so they asked if they could send someone else. Someone else came and we did the whole process again...measured every single window. We waited a couple days and got a quote for over $100k, nearly $40k more than 2 other quotes I received. When I asked why, and asked for an itemized quote (because the one they sent was NOT itemized) they said that they would get that to me in a couple days. Again, I waited a couple days...nothing. I emailed, said they were working on it. Waited another 2 weeks, now someone had COVID and they cant figure out how to get me an itemized quote. This process started on September 1st and to this day (10/26) I still do not have an itemized quote, not that I would pay them $40k more anyways...They have wasted lots of my time and attempted to waste lots of my money. Would not recommend.

First off, I scheduled a consultation online but then had to reschedule due to an unexpected conflict. I called and was able to easily reschedule and the person was very helpful and courteous as I asked questions about doing a virtual consult vs in person. Then, Joe Young came by to do an estimate for replacing some doors in my house and was great about not only letting me know that their product was probably not the right fit for my project (as I really only needed some basic doors and nothing fancy) so I didnt spend more than I really needed to but he also gave me some great advice and suggestions for how to handle my project. Ill definitely be reaching out again if I have a project thats a better fit in the future but I appreciate him steering in a better direction for this one.

Had a really good experience from our in-home visit with sales specialist Joe Youngs. We ultimately decided against doing the project we had him come out about, but we appreciated Joes professionalism and follow up. He provided a full quote right on site and explained the job fully. He even provided us a great reference for a completely different, unrelated home improvement project we were considering.

Joe was very professional and thorough with the whole process from start to finish. He was also very helpful with explaining all of our financing options. We have had nothing but issues with our Pella sliding patio door. It started with the salesman who was friendly and helpful until we signed the contract to purchase the $8000 door. Then he was hard to get a hold of and slow to respond. He told us that we had a certain amount of time to make a color change only to tell us when we went to the showroom to select the color that he never said that and that we were locked in with a color that we wouldn’t be able to use as we had just repainted the exterior of our home. His miscommunication caused yet another delay in what was already months of waiting for installation.The installers who came to install the door were great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. However there are some issues with the interior blinds that don’t function correctly. We were told that a technician will be contacting us to come out to fix them. It has been over two weeks now and we haven’t heard anything. We’ve tried to call and haven’t gotten any phone calls back. There are also smudges inside the panes of glass that I can’t clean which drive me crazy. I had always heard that Pella had a great reputation for quality doors and windows and service. We have not experienced that in this case. Very disappointed.

I just purchased two new center hinged French Patio doors, which have not been installed yet, but they are on order, and I’m very confident that they will be professionally installed when they come in. We purchased a new Pella front entry door a year ago and the installation was superior, looks great, works great, so I have no reason to think the patio doors will be anything but perfect also.Joe Youngs, our Pella sales representative was a pleasure to work with, taking ample time to explain our options of different door styles, each ones construction and operation and pricing. I ordered a double door four months ago. Today it was supposed to be installed. At 10 am when they were not here I called to ask about if they were coming today still, because they were supposed to arrive at I believe 9am. I was informed at that point that my door had not even been received from the warehouse. Why they didnt notify me of this sooner I dont know. The person I spoke to was a installation manager and she said she would look into it and contact me back this afternoon. Its now well after business hours and I still have not heard anything. I paid over 7k for this set of doors and the installation. So far I am very disappointed in the service. I understand that sometimes things take longer, but it was already a four month wait, and there was no communication. Honestly if they had communicated with me I probably would not be so disappointed. So far I can not recommend this company. I will update based on what happens from here.

Our home was built in the 1940’s and had original Pella windows that needed to be updated. We had Pella replace all windows in our home a few years ago, except for windows and door of 3-season sun room. We were/are very happy with Pella. Developed a roof leak and subsequent wood rot of frame in sun room. Had roof replaced. Then called Pella. William Wilson assessed the two exterior walls of the sun room and took measurements. Offered several window and door configurations and prices. We chose one and set a date. Pella communicated well, rescheduled date for one day later due to rain. Arrived, behaved in a very professional manner, and completed the job to our delight and satisfaction. William Wilson/Pella did a great job. We have two storm doors that we will have Pella back to replace in the next year or two.

We had our Pella windows installed today by Tim Smith and his teamof Kevin and Dustin. They did a GREAT job. They were punctual (also called ahead that they would be here is so many minutes). They were very professional and personable. They used drop cloths and did a thorough job of cleaning up. They made sure everything looked proper and did a walk through with us. We have had other Pella windows installed before (2007) and highly recommend them. The previous installers are no longer available We recommend Tim Smith for the installation.

I am purchasing windows for my home and chose Pella Windows. I havent had them installed yet but I am looking forward to having them in my home. Preston Castle was my salesman. He showed me all the different styles of windows Pella has to offer at different price points. We went through all the different options. And put together my window package. I am getting Pella Reserve for the front of my home and Lifestyle for the sides and back. We also added different options in the front. Preston showed alot of patience and knowledge with a willingness to to help me get all my windows replaced at a price that I am comfortable with. I like the fact that there was never any pressure in making me buy my windows, but I knew wanted Pella.

I worked with a great sales rep, Joe Young, who came out to my home to see exactly what my door situation was. He took measurements and photos of my current 30-year-old door. Afterward, we made an appointment to visit the showroom to see my options. Mr Young was very patent listening to my needs, then offered suggestions. I decided on a new French Door with blinds and a special order hardware set. I plan on getting a new front entry door in the spring and will certainly call Mr Young to provide ideas and take my order.

I ordered my sliding glass door 4 months ago and it finally came this Monday after a week of delays. But when the contractors went to install, the door did not fit. I looked back at my contract and noticed that the three quotes I was given all were for a 95 frame, not the 9.5 that my opening is. Ive attempted to contact my sales rep MULTIPLE times; I had one call with him Monday where he explained he has to speak with his manager about it yesterday. Last night he said I would have more information by the morning but Ive heard absolutely nothing despite reaching out and I cant park my car in the garage because I have this mis-measured patio door in it. Im going to the Consumer Protection Agency with the Ohio Attorney Generals office because its clear that Pella has no interest in fixing their mistake. This is completely unacceptable when Pella came highly recommended to me.
