The WORST FAMILY DOLLAR on the west side. It could be at open or during the evening. Employees Always on the phones. Side conversations. And not paying attention to customers. Not sure whether or not they have items in stock. Profanity, disrespectful and just UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES & MANAGEMENT. I can go in for one or 2 things and end up standing in line for 10-15 mins. IF YOU NEED TO BE ON YOUR PHONE TAKE IT OFF THE SALES FLOOR. AND PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Parking was great but they where out of everything and I stood inline for at least 10 minutes before they opened the other registry.

This store has come a LONG way!! Very clean, well-stocked and everything is easy to find. Customer service is THE BEST!! Friendly, hardworking and knowledgeable staff. This is the nicest, cleanest Family Dollar Ive ever been in, without a doubt.

All of the employees are very helpful. Store is Clean. I like the addition of the frozen products, they have Alot of good stuff !

Employees are helpful, very quick and prices are reasonable. I dont know why but I love taking my time going up & down the aisles, just looking at everything.

Did not say I hated this store. The one that was working the register was very friendly and nice. Treated me real good.

Shaggy was the clerks name who rung me out, and I was impressed with his skills of the reggister bc he said it was only his 3rd day.... pretty friendly family dollar.

Got pop,chips,milk,bread,soup,lunch meat,frozen goods,ice cream,dog food,paper towels and toys for the nephew

Line is slow sometimes.

They have recently remodeled the store and now its full of new people who act and talk about whatever they want cussing and carrying on in front of children. They have a row of virtually empty freezers and coolers now. And the actual stock in the rest of the store seems to be on the decline as well

To much cussing and talking about any and everything by the staff. We can do better ny people

Horrible customer service representative store should be closed the clerk Haley has the worst attitude search Kanisha J family dollar experience on YouTube to see for yourself I do not appreciate the cops being called on me totally unacceptable I was not stealing or making threats I simply expressed my opinion WHICH I am allowed to do it my free right the clerk took it upon herself to respond to my comments being made out loud to myself and even then she should have still serviced me so I could leave she stopped scanning items and told me to leave then after getting the manager she demanded he not serve me then after her comment escalated into a argument the clerk walked out which is really unprofessional! That store needs to be closed or give them better training because a comment about not having the ability to have cash back should have never went that far I have made a complaint but doubt anything will be done

The only good thing about this store is the prices the staff are rude with a few exceptions. They are demanding of leaving any type of bag in the front (Im sorry Im not leaving anything with my personal information on it where I cant see what is happening with it) I may have been more compliant with a please as well not a snapped You cant take your bag in. but with the rudeness I turned around walked out and got what I needed at CVS instead. I dont mind paying more for courteous service.

Never open when I go there. Always a sign on the door saying “will reopen after unloading truck or some other rubbish”It’s 6 pm on holiday when lots of people have to run to get something they forgot and the doors are locked with a note on them saying “will re-open after unloading truck.” I’ve been sitting here for just 10 min and have watched 33 ppl walk up and have to turn away because doors are locked. Losing some major business... maybe it’s time to start hiring temps if you can’t stay staffed.

Need to have more help on registers and keep isles clear of boxes etc..as I am in a power chair and I find it difficult to get to what I need .....Update: new management, a lot better, a great improvement from where they were.....

I went to the family dollar today to pick up some things and the store was closed and the lights turned on what is going on with this store anymore I took my business to dollar general instead this is unacceptable

I shop here almost every day and every time I walk in the door the same guy always says whats up and asks how Im doing, which is cool. But then he follows me around the store, which is not so cool. I overheard him one day, saying something about people stealing, and I have never stolen anything nor given any of the employees reason to believe I would steal. Its borderline harassment. No matter where I am in the store he is no more than an aisle away. I understand the store is only so big, and theft is probably a big problem for the company considering the area this store is located in, but if the employees are going to blatantly follow me around and watch me shop, they might as well ask me to my face if Im stealing. In which case I would never shop there again, but Im afraid that may happen anyway. I dont appreciate being followed, but more so I dont understand the basis they judge me on to assume that about my character. While this location is convenient for me, I will take my money elsewhere if this keeps up.

Half the stock is never put out.last time I was up there stock everywhere and 2 of the guys working were outside smoking.You couldnt get thru the Isles almost as bad today.Last time when Ieft they were still out there smoking and I went off on them.Told them I was calling corporate. BUT I LOST THE NO.THAT STORE IS OFF THE HOOK.

This store is in a tough neighborhood and they do there best thats my compliment. My complaint is that had a sale but 5 participating products and get 5.00 off, nobody knew where to get the coupon. So I spent 20 not hard to do but didnt get my 5.00 off and I anticipated spending 25.I didnt get it so I put stuff back .Can you please clear up this problem. There are a few of us in the neighborhood who can afford to shop help us out.

Aisles are always blocked and packages are always tampered with. No organization things are not in the area they say. Times I find things on sale in the clearance section dont know it til time of check out. This place could use a make over an more space needed

Okay so went there.to shop this morning at west broad and yale. And it was 9am the doors were still locked. Store supposed to be open at 8am. Manager opens the door shortly after 9 said they been robbed a few days before and he has to have a second person there before he can open the store. Manager should have redone the schedule as necessary to cover gaps so nobody is there alone.

I dont get over to this location much but this best family Dollar in Columbus especially when it comes to customer service. Employees friendly and go way beyond to be helpful

I have not been in this store at 1159 west broad in Columbus ohio for about 5 years. Now I remember why. bad service. while I was standing in line with 5 other customers. the clerk at 4:50 pm on Saturday june 9 decide to have a fun discussion with a friend at the register. I finally left I will not be back of course I only had $2.00 worth of things. I will not be back. The clerks need to have their discussion with their friend when then are on break not while other customers are waiting to get on with their day. I will not return to any of your stores. I do not need this hassel

Its good for grabbing something in an emergency, but i think they take advantage of inner city people who have no transportation as the prices are pretty high.

Checking out can be a problem. Line of people or just swiping a card. Quicker with cash. Store needs some improvments and repairs for sure. Some staff are immature young adult attitude that goes with the neighborhood.

I hear the manager is leaving. Too bad. Shes a good one.

People is always running out the store with stuff, aisle ways blocked constantly from stocking shelfs. Which should be a good thing but when every other aisle is blocked and you need something out of the aisle employees get an attitude, most of the time the store is dirty and a line that always takes 15-20 minutes top get to the register evenif there is 1 or 2 people ahead of you. The plus side... Is close to home and they dont allow pan handlers in their parkinglot.

Ive shopped here since they opened as well as my family, put a lot of cash in these peoples hands and obviously if it wasnt for customers like me none of these punks would have a job!! After tonight I will never shop here again.. My husband works 60+ hours a week laying blacktop and you accuse his mother of stealing a chair ? When she doesnt even live around here and wasnt with him at the time and probably never shopped at this pos store in her life, but you kick him out bc you think hes related to a woman who stole something!?! Whats a great little family store

I want to start off by saying by I go to this Family dollar all the time. But today was DIFFERENT. I dont know what the current mangers problem was. Listen to this ok I was at the counter talking to the store Clark as she was checking me out. all I know is that this guy that was in the store (bummy looking) asked where a particular street was idk which one at this time I wasnt paying attention. sorry. when the manager comes from around the back counter after getting an item out of a locked cabinet that I was also buying. she walked by the entrance and asked the bummy looking guys hands was in his pocket. he started making up excuses. she asked him twice to remove his hands when he didnt she grabbed his hands. he went to run she tackled him. knock over all the grocery carts that haves about a 3 foot pole sticking off the top. that was beside the counter I was standing at. I moved back still the poles almost hit me. I turned to the Clark stating I dont think by LAW she can do that. finally the man got away dropping the 2 candy bars both $1 a piece. the store manager turns on me very quickly cursing me out saying I need to mind my own business telling me I need to go home in take my psyche mids. calling me bitches. whats if one of my colleges would of been in that store or if I brought my 8 month old son with me which I frequently do. she endangered everyones life in that store over maybe $3 worth of stuff REALLY. and I know from personal experiences she CANT tackle a shoplifter not only personal experiences but also research what can we do about all this.

I came into the store, it was dirty and disorganized with clutter everywhere. The cashier was flirting with two young boys and not paying attention to customers. It took me nearly 20 minutes just to get a few items and the cashier was making snide remarks to me and my guest about a private conversation we were having in which was unrelated to her.

They helped me carry a big bag of cat food to my car.its the little things that I appreciate
