What an awesome experience! From the first email we sent,inquiring about a quote, until they left after the install, the customer service and efficiency was unbelievable. Absolutely everyone went above and beyond to assure we were satisfied. The salesman (Gary Emmett) came to the house, measured, explained different types of granite and then accompanied us as we picked out the granite we wanted. Then came the man who did the laser measurement...again every attention to detail. Then the layout...the man who did that impressed us with his obvious joy at capturing the best design that would be our countertops and kitchen bar area. The men who came to install were again very timely and efficient! What does it take to have a picture perfect granite install? A terrific team of workers from start to finish, and Konkus has it!!

Konkus is great! Forget the big box stores. For countertops, Konkus is where you need to go. Not only a showroom, but a warehouse, fabricator and installer all in one place. From the friendly greeters to the salesperson they all made you feel welcome and helped you through the process. The measurement person used laser measurements and were spot on. I had a really good sales person, Steve, and the selection was very good. Up front with their pricing, and the install went seamlessly. Large warehouse to walk through; they do the work on one side and the slabs are on the other.We had bathroom counter tops done. I would definitely recommend them.

They do great work, their process is very customer focused, and since you can choose your slabs from almost any supplier - selection is almost unlimited. This time there was an issue with the material I chose cracking 3 months after installation. Konkus took 100% ownership of the problem. They allowed me to select new material, they did all the fabrication, removal, and installation work, and did not charge me a thing. Anybody can make and install a countertop, but what sets these guys apart is their customer service and integrity. Nobody else even comes close.

What a wonderful experience! Every step of the process was very easy and we were treated like we were their only customers. The installers were awesome, very professional. We are Konkus customers forever!

Needed a seam in our granite countertop repaired (old adhesive was chipping out) and when the original installer (Kern Marble & Granite) failed to return any of my 4 phone calls over 4-5 weeks, I called Konkus. They replied within a day & got me scheduled the following week. Kyle was professional & worked quickly but carefully, finishing the job in just one hour! He even replaced the mildewed caulk line surrounding our sink & added an extra shim for stability at no extra charge. VERY happy with the experience. Will definitely recommend & use them again in the future!

Always friendly staff and great work.

Konkus was great to work with, but the process itself was not pleasant. 5 trips (during work days/hours, for the most part), three different suppliers visited, most visits to the suppliers, we left not knowing whether the slab we liked was going to be in our price range or not until the next day... Megan was great to work with, though... very helpful and responsive. Worked with Zach at the start of the process as well and while he was very nice and very responsive, I got the impression he may have been new and maybe a little unfamiliar with exactly what we were doing with our kitchen. Installers did a good job, but they did chip our new paint on the cabinets in one spot and smeared adhesive on the paint on the island (barely noticeable unless the light hits it just right). Overall though, were pleased and the granite looks great.

We recently bought a new house and completely remodeled the kitchen. We went to Konkus Marble & Granite because we had used them for our last kitchen model in our old home in 2014 and had the BEST experience! This time around, not so much. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable and the installers were great, however, the over all finish of my granite is horrendous. You can actually see where the sealer was not properly wiped away. Parts of the granite are rough and feel tacky. Needless to say, I was upset. In our prior experience, our counters were perfect and smooth. Less than half an hour after the installers left, I contacted Konkus and was told that I needed to buy denatured alcohol and clean it myself. Um, no. First of all, I just paid you, the professional to do it. I came to you because you offer a 15 year sealer and you got it right the first time, why not now? I’m still annoyed that the best solution, was sorry, sometimes we don’t get all the sealer off, you need to go buy stuff to do yourself. I did. Still doesn’t look right. In the end, I would still recommend Konkus, I just miss the old customer service and product!

Holy freaking schnizzle... this granite is gorgeous! Im going to lay on it naked.As we started the journey into our kitchen remodel, Konkus was recommended to us. Their warehouse was full of granite. Once we selected Snowfall, there was a particular lot we were most impressed with. They found another slab from the same lot and couldnt have been any happier. After installing the countertops, we decided to add an island because the granite is gorgeous and truly a focus point. EVERYONE was wonderful to work with. Customer service was top notch. I had the most fun with the team. From the front office to the installers.When the initial measuring was done, I wasnt happy with the placement of the farmhouse sink (my husbands decision for placement). The person measuring was understanding, offered to come back and measure again once the sink was adjusted. I never felt pressured to make due. I had a particular look that I did not want, we talked it out and its perfect. When we decided to add the island, I was simply looking for a scrap piece of Snowfall granite. The person helping me select a piece was never bothered by me wanting to go back and forth from different pieces. He even moved some out onto the floor for a better view, which isnt easy. Granite is heavy!I truly couldnt be any happier. The look is perfect and everyone was amazing. After a full kitchen remodel, no one needs any added bs. This was a great experience and I will return if any additional projects justify the need. Highly recommend them, wouldnt go anywhere else. Thanks Konkus... my kitchen is freaking gorgeous!!

My contractor recommended that I go to Konkus Marble and Granite to look at granite remnants for my vanity. He even recommended a specific male employee. I worked with this employee during my visit, and I was not impressed at all. This was my first time picking out granite, and I had a cabinet sample with me. The employee was not friendly or helpful. He could have made suggestions about the remnants based on the color of the cabinet or asked questions about my color scheme. He told me where everything was located. Then, he just stood around until I stated that my contractor raved about how helpful you would be. The young man then started making suggestions and helping me. I decided to purchase my remnant from Carolyn Monsul at Granite Direct where I received phenomenal customer service. Despite the amount of money that a customer is spending, excellent customer service should be provided to all customers.

One of the contractors dropped the counter piece of the new counter top & Konkus sent out Kyle Stevens to fix the crack or gave us the option to get another layout. We had Kyle sent to see if the crack could be fixed and wow! He went above and beyond. No one can even tell that the corner piece was cracked. The customer service from beginning to end was amazing. After weeks of waiting and going to the shop to approve the layout before cutting the counter tops, when installed we realized that soap dispenser hole was not cut. Now need to schedule again for the crews to come back to cut the hole on site. It is going to be messy !👎After researching and finding about toxicity of Quartz counter particle, We decided to canel thier in-home service to drill the hole for soap dispenser. Stacey, my sales representative was extremely helpful and professional. She gave me a tour of the types of marble and granite that I was interested in and I chose three types which she provided quotes for.The following day I returned with samples of the materials for floor, cabinets and backsplash and none of the original selections looked as good as I had hoped. So I wandered around and found a piece of granite that worked really well with the colors I had chosen. Stacey prepared a quote for the granite and the details were set.The measuring appointment was scheduled and completed and two weeks later the installers came. The prepped the area and installed the granite and the undermounted sink and were done in about an hour and fifteen minutes. The countertop is amazing and we are loving are new kitchen.

Our experience with Konkus was excellent at ever turn from our first visit to final installation. At your facility each visit was well organized as people were expecting us and met us quickly. Our salesman Gary was great and led us to samples that met our specs based on my drawings and our wishes for design and colors. His quotes and calls were accurate and helpful. The guy that did the laser measurements was ver thorough, the guy that showed us the final slab with our specs overlaid was very helpful and had obviously prepared well for our visit. The the installer were neat, thorough and accurate.I have one small concern. As we have worked with the counter top a few days I have noticed a very small mar in the stone itself. It looks bare down into the stone itself. I would have thought the sealer would have covered that. If youre in Marysville working perhaps. you could do a quick stop and check it out.We were referred to you by Paul Lazenby, a builder who has done a lot of business with you in the past. Our experience with Konkus wasnt the greatest. If you want someone that cares more about the customer than the bottom line, this is not the company to go for your counter top needs. We had them connect to an existing quartz top in the kitchen. We knew it wouldnt be a perfect match, but they assured us they would do their best to make it blend. There best was pretty poor!!! We told them our dissatisfaction and they could care less. In fact, we emailed the CFO twice and he ignored us and never replied. They only care about the bottom line. I gave them a 2 because they did a good job on the new counter tops which were installed.The salesman was great in the beginning, but he dropped us like a bad habit. This was before the design phase and everything. We left messages and texted him, but to no avail. Very poor customer service all around.

UPDATE - 4/17/2020 (4-star review):I received a call from the GM at Konkus wanting to know the status of this matter. I explained that the individual (employee mentioned in my original post below) hadn’t made contact nor had made any payments to us. He informed me that the Owner was very upset that the company’s brand was being negatively impacted due to an employee’s actions outside the workplace, for which GM apologized and offered to send us a check for the amount owed.Thank you, Ray, for addressing this matter professionally and for being fair/understanding. We wish things hadn’t come this far, but are glad to have come to common grounds.Over a month ago (1-star review):I have no doubts this company meets a lot of customers’ expectations based on their overall reviews, however, I recently had a conversation with the General Manager regarding an employee who does side jobs on behalf of the company, but DOES NOT complete the work nor refunds the money. I find the company to be somewhat liable for this as they allow side jobs to be done without “causing an impact” to the company’s reputation. The employee’s name is DOUGLAS FERNANDO BARREDA. He reached out to me through a facebook post and even came to my house with a Konkus logo shirt. He also provided pictures of their samples and the warehouse where cutting, polishing, etc, takes place.I contacted the management team and spoke to The GM who agreed speaking to the employee in order to help out as “much as possible”, but explained Konkus couldn’t take responsibility for his employee’s actions outside of the workplace. In a sense, I understood because we hired him independently, however, it is fair to say that this man represents the company by wearing their employee shirts to attract clientele. Additionally, at some point, companies may be found liable for their employees’ actions which is why many organizations do not allow “side jobs“ to take place outside of work. Branding and credibility is very important and as Corporation, Konkus should have zero tolerance for these types of behaviors!Needless to say, We’ve decided to proceed legally and are hoping this man stops misrepresenting Konkus and deceiving others in the community.

I would recommend anyone to use Konkus. I was very please with professionalism they had. Steve treated us very well. They did our fireplace and there was a fissure that turned into a crack in our hearth shortly after install and they cam back and replaced it for us at no charge. I will definitely call them again if I have any other granite or marble needs.

We had a great experience with Konkus from the very beginning. Their showroom has a great waiting area, which was helpful as we were shopping around with our kids. Our sales rep, Gary was easy to communicate with, answered all of our questions and helped us with every step of the process. We were very specific about what we were looking for- they pulled out multiple pieces for us until we found just the right look. Every person we worked with was friendly and helpful, from template to delivery to service. We had a few minor issues that needed resolved after delivery and the tech that came to our house was quick, kept everything neat and solved all of our concerns within a few minutes. I would definitely recommend Konkus to anyone - great customer service and our counters are absolutely stunning!
