The girl with the tattoos made me feel really comfortable. She was really nice and easy to talk to and helped me out a lot. I definitely feel like she needs a raise because I can tell she works really hard.

My name is Brittany Leonard and this was my very first time at visonworks and the experience was through the roof. When I say they greet you every single person that works there greets you and they are all so nice and friendly. But Mrs. Katina H. struck out the most. She really made me feel welcomed and treated me like I had been there for years. The doctor himself was amazing he laughs with you just to make you comfortable and he explained everything as he go. Its a very relaxing and nice setting. Mrs. Katina went above and beyond to make me comfortable. She explained and went over everything that I need to know and she made sure I had everything my insurance offered me. In the passed my eye doctors associates never explained anything. She was very helpful and I look forward to my many many more visits at visonworks. I really do Thank each of you!
I’ve used Dr Yoe for 35 years, he doesn’t deserve this office manager Dana! She’s the rudest person I’ve ever had there. It’s been every year since she started, I’m sad to leave him but I’m done!
My first time ever needing glasses, I was nervous,but Katina H. was wonderful she made the process much easier than I thought it would be,she explained each process with me and eased my nerves and made me feel comfortable. She showed a real compassion about her work. Although everyone was great that I came in contact with, Katrina took her time helped, explained and conversated with me through the process. Both women at vision works on veterans parkway, GA were very rude. My fiance had a couple of questions and they both were very rude. Was not willing to help us at all. Never again will I go back there. Poor customer service
My first time at Visionworks was awesome. The entire staff was friendly and I didn’t have to wait long. I also enjoyed the easy online booking system! Mrs. Katina was awesome in processing my insurance and explaining everything.
I used Vision works for the first time this past January. Me and my son wear glasses and my daughter wears both glasses and contacts. We all had eye exams and purchased glasses. The doctor was very good and we are all pleased with our glasses. My daughter choose to order her contacts online. They were not covered by our insurance and the cost dictated her decision. Yesterday my daughter who plays college softball lost her left contact. I called vision works and asked if I could purchase a trial pair or a pack if they had them in stock. The response I got was a bit shocking. The woman on the line told me that the trials were for customers. She noted that I did not purchase the contact from them. She said I should call the company I purchased them from and ask them for the extra contact. SERIOUSLY! Obviously they have plenty of business and do not need ours. If I had been able to get a contact I would guarantee we would have purchased future contacts through them. Do they really think after that flipped comment that I would ever step foot in another Vision works. Back to Walmart it is. You may never get the same Optometrist twice but they gave me a contact!!!!!
Had a great experience here. Professional staff, quick and friendly service, and a great value. No one ever made me feel dumb for asking questions, they have a great selection, and will even help you find glasses that look good on you! That was a big surprise for me and was actually really nice to have someone who cared not just improving your vision, but also how your glasses work for you. Their products are very affordable and they have great deals, even if you don’t have insurance.The doctor was fantastic, he was very patient, explaining everything he was doing and seemed very engaged in finding things that would be affecting me. Nothing worse than not knowing how to describe what is wrong right?! Instead he asked me questions about different things, tried things and got feedback. It was a different kind of experience for me and I think it was great. Reminds me of a very personal, small town doctor that knows you individually. Fortunately, even though it was a very small town feel, the business was very professional and well equipped.The facilities were very clean and modern, they had great equipment, and everything was just smooth. They have a nice test that doesn’t require you to dilate your eyes. I was dreading that part. My wife and I both got our very first exam, picked glasses, got checkedoo out, and paid all within an hour. I was very impressed.I highly recommend this place for anyone and we will be coming back for all of our future vision needs. I we’re even bringing our kids here in the future. I was told that the doctor will also see children.
I went to Visionworks in Columbus, Ga on 1/08/21for an eye exam to see if I needed glasses. I left them a stellar review a day or so later. The staff for the most part was excellent, and I felt as though the whole experience was good. After the exam the doctor explained that I needed glasses. I told him, that I would like to get the prescription and order glasses online. Due to my profession, I dont need expensive glasses that will get damaged, and my company will supply safety glasses if I get the prescription. The doctor agreed, and encouraged me to do so that ordering online would be fine. When I tried to order the glasses the company needed a PD measurement. I called Visionworks, and they would not provide the PD. And then Lied multiple times to me and my wife about it. They said they only perform the PD measurement when fitting you to purchase glasses from them. That is not true. I went and had another exam, at another optometrist, and they explained what part of the exam included the PD measurement. The same exam that I had at Visionworks. I called Visionworks back and spoke to Melanie, for about the fourth time today, and explained what I had just learned. And with each call the staff just continued to get more obnoxious. I know that I can not get any satisfaction from them, but if I can warn others about their customer service, maybe it will save them the bad experience.
Went to vision works located in Columbus, GA on 3/27/2021 my family and I. Katina H was very knowledgeable and so nice. Any questions that we had she was able to answer them and she was very honest when trying on the frames Im so glad that we came and that we had this experience with Katina H.
My sales associate was Mr.Marques. He provide my husband and myself with EXCELLENT service!! I needed some frames pulled from another store and he made it happened! He made our experience AMAZING! Also, Mrs.Dana, she is an Amazing manager. I love how she is operating the store during this pandemic! No Exceptions!! I love it!!....

I have gone to Dr. Yoe my entire life. I recently changed jobs and insurance, but double checked it was in network before I made an appointment. I made back to back appointments for me and my husband, and arrived on time. The lady who met us was rude to us the entire time. She told me that even though my insurance said they were in network, they refuse to file with them so I would have to either pay out of pocket or cancel. I said i would cancel. Then she runs my husbands info, comes back and tells me I’d have to leave for his appointment. Needless to say, we both left and I will not ever return again. I love Dr. Yoe, but they could’ve handled it differently upon my arrival.

Staff was inattentive, did not even inquire about my needs. They just seemed ready for me to leave, so I did. Took my prescription and ordered from framesdirect.com. The doctor was very nice though.

So I’m only giving this location 2 stars because they are friendly and try to be helpful. However, I made my appointment on Thursday for a regular eye appointment and it says online if you have an eye injury to call for an appointment within 24 hours. Well, I called Friday and told them i made an appointment and I have an eye injury. The lady who I spoke with said they were understaffed and she took my name and number and said she’d call me back. I didn’t receive a call Friday or Saturday. They are closed Sunday and my appointment was Monday. Well I have vision insurance but they didn’t take my medical, I wish they would have told me that on Friday when I called and told them I needed an appointment for an eye injury. They also aren’t taking new patients. 😒

I worked with Marquis to select my glasses. He extremely helpful and has a great personality! Being new to the area he advised me on what Waffle Houses I should try (and which to stay away from 😂), how to navigate the area, and of course we discussed our favorite college and pro football teams. Yes, all of this while he set ordered my glasses and its the type of experience I love when patronizing franchise establishments. Hes definitely the reason Ill go back!

Stopped by with my son to get glasses. Did not have an appt and door said walkins welcome. Door was locked and there was literally no one in store. Waiting outside in pouring rainstorm. Lady says she will check w her manager to see if they could see us while she left us outside getting soaked. Was clear they didn’t want our business and it was 30 mins til close. told us manager would not see walkins (again w no one inside). Won’t be calling back for that appt!

My entire experience at Visionworks was amazing. Agnes was able to help me make a last minute appointment to see Dr. Yoe, who was absolutely wonderful, and extremely thorough. The entire exam was the least invasive, yet most comprehensive exam Ive ever received. Marquis then helped me pick out my lenses and made sure I knew EXACTLY what I was getting. My exam and lenses were far more affordable then they would have been had I returned to my previous optometrist. Im so happy I took the chance with Visionworks. Definitely a return customer.

Been seeing Dr Yoe for years and followed him to Visionworks. The staff is great here! They are very helpful in assisting you in picking out the perfect glasses. They had buy one get one free and I was able to get sunglasses too. I love my new glasses and my polarized sunglasses are awesome. I recommend Visionworks to everyone

Found out that day that my 4 yr old needed glasses. While trying to fit some to her and not real having any luck we just left because their was three ladies in the office and not one helped me. Everyone including the doctor was pretty blah and the one lady that checked me out was really grumpy. Over all everyone wasn’t very friendly. Maybe something happened that day and everyone was in a bad mood idk but I’ve been in customer service for 15 years and know better than to take it out on your guests. Over all not impressed.
My son lost his contacts on vacation. They got his prescription from TN and had his new contacts waiting when we showed up. Super helpful!

Severely overpriced and somewhat crooked to me. I went in there asking just for replacement lenses that would be $249 at Sams and with my insurance I get a straight $200 towards my glasses. I told them that about the $200 and they told me my lenses there would be 300. I asked him so that means I would owe a hundred they said no thats how much more you will owe when you use your insurance. So they sit there and try to charge double the price for the exact same lenses
