Had a very friendly staff. I was in and out fast. Learned a great deal oh my eyes and how to keep them healthy. I would say it is now my new favorite eye doctors!!

Wow!! Exceptional service. The doctor explained everything to me about my eyes. What they was doing and why they was giving me the problems I have dealt with. This is the first time I have ever had a doctor explain everything to me.The whole process was welcoming. I have been going to the eye doctor since I was a kid and this one here is top notch!! The doctor took time to really examine my eyes and provide a diagnosis that was thorough. And he was really kind. The lady who does the initial tests was also kind and made me feel at ease. No one upsells anything, except the picture of your eye instead of dilation. And that picture is completely worth it.

My exam was incredible, informative, yeah painless, and thorough. Also your COVID-19 protocols are followed. Learned a lot about my eyes. Highly recommended. Thanks again.

The eye examination was very thorough and personnel very pleasant and accommodating.

Great office visit- staff helpful and informative.Eye exam was not complicated - felt very informed every step of the exam! Dr. Mason was great too- explained details of my exam and answered all my questions about my vision and exam results!!! I also had a great experience choosing my glasses- clerk took photos of me wearing different frames-It was easy to choose my favorite pair after that! I highly recommend this location! Thanks to all the staff who helped me!

I have been seen by several different eye doctors over the last 20 years and Dr. David Mihaly is by far the best professional Ive encountered. Not a lot of health professionals integrate compassion, patience, and thoughtfulness like Dr. Mihaly does. Thank you very much!

Even in times of social distancing and face masks, the eye exam was on time and comprehensive. Our Opthamologist retired and needed to find a new practitioner. Dr. Thumm fit the bill and both my son and I will continue to see Dr. Thumm. Staff was very helpful as well!!

I came in happy with my brand of contact lenses (Air Optix). Dr. Mason suggests switching to BioAffinity. I didn’t mind trying it out because I hadn’t tried a new brand in awhile. He hadn’t told me that if I wanted to switch back to Air Optix because the BioAffinity wasn’t a good fit, I’d have to make a new appointment (inconvenience of time and cost).Secondly, one of the machines found a visual field abnormality during testing. I was told I would need to make an appointment for that. When I tried to do so, I was told he wasn’t taking that type of appointment at the moment because of COVID. When staff called about making an appointment for the contact lens issue mentioned above, I told her I didn’t find it necessary to have a new lens fitting because I’d been happy with the AirOptix for so long but I was interested in eventually scheduling an appointment to explore the visual field abnormality. In response, she told me that the visual field abnormality was most likely an issue with the machine.The associated LensCrafters is amazing, and I believe positive reviews for the LensCrafters may confuse people into thinking Sawmill Eye Associates optometrist office provides adequate, ethical service. In my experience, this hasn’t been the case, so please do your research.
