IHS Computers is simply one of the most trustworthy IT shops around Columbus GA. Ive worked in IT for the past 25 years and built hundreds of computers. Working in IT, I get lots of questions from friends and family and still do little side jobs from time to time building and upgrading computers. When my schedule is too busy to help out, IHS Computers is who I send them too. Each and every time a friend or family member goes to IHS Computers, all I hear about is how friendly and fast their service is. How the techs there explain everything in terms that they can understand and how affordable the prices are. There is no one else I would trust to service my computers or small business.

I went to another local computer shop twice for a issue with my computer not powering on and when it did it went to the bios menu automatically. They said there were no issues with the computer. When I took it to IHS they did a comprehensive diagnostics and found many small issues they believed may be causing the overall problem. They called me the same day to update me on what they found what they had done and what they planned to do. It was ready for pickup the next day. I was also provided a itemized receipt with a total break down of all work done. They do cost more then some other places but the work they do is far above the other shops in Columbus.In summary: The work they do is more then worth the price.They will find and fix issues fast and keep you updated on whats going on.They are friendly and easy to talk with, I never felt rushed off the phone while getting updates or like it was a bother to have something explained in detail.This is hands down the best shop o have used and I plan on using it for any future needs. (Though knock on wood I wont need anymore repairs)

The technicians at IHS are your super duper, cutting edge, computer “WIZ” technicians! My experience there was overwhelmingly, positively, the best for solving my problem with my slow running laptop! They also provided me with discounts that made my payout the most affordable....... and their turnover was outstanding to say the least!!! I recommend THEM for all of your technical repairs!!

Brian and Dean are very helpful and timely when it comes to fixing the computers for us at work. The other day I was locked out and Brian remoted in and worked on it until I could at least get to my work. Still not real certain of the solution, but I am confident that they will find it; for now at least I am able to continue to work.

We have used IHS approximately 5 or 6 times. They have always taken our computer concerns seriously and made repairs and adjustments to our satisfaction and with what was needed for best operation of the computer. Time quoted is very close on being ready to pick up and we have been satisfied with their rates.

3-18-2021It has been about a month and a half since I picked up the refurbished system from IHS. Wow. Loving it. Better, faster, and more versatile. I had quit using my Canon PowerShot a few years ago because our old system was incompatible (memory issues, etc). But with this new system I can plug in my camera, my tablet... everything communicates, is compatible... its LIKE it made everything new.... so I am on the verge of taking photos again.... Also now I am seeing the HD quality on Netflix... Really pleased with the system and service at IHS!!!!!2-1-2021I called IHS Computers about our computer trouble, and spoke with Kyle. I mentioned we had Windows XP, the computer is very noisy, and shuts off intermittently. Weve been meaning to upgrade.... Kyle said I could bring our computer in, and IHS could run some diagnostics. That would run $69.Kyle said IHS does offer refurbished computers, and data transfer service. Kyle said they currently had a $349 hard drive with Windows 10. They also had one for $399. They could transfer the data from our old computer to a refurbished one for $69.After discussing with my husband, we decided to proceed with Kyles recommendation of a refurbished computer and data transfer.I dropped our old computer off 2-1-2021, Monday evening. I picked up refurbished computer with our data loaded on it 2-4-2021, Thursday afternoon. IHS showed me how the browser looked and operated, showed me my data that was transferred, as well as the virus protection, etc.My husband set it up evening 2-4-2021, and not only are we up & running, we are enjoying the speed, and the quiet that comes with high quality equipment.Highly recommend these folks for quality service, quality refurbished equipment, very reasonable prices. They do what they say they will promptly.

I took my desktop computer in the get an issue fixed that I’ve been having for 6 months. Within 4 hours I got a call telling me what the issues were. I told Brain to go ahead and take care it and within one hour he called me back saying it was ready for pickup. They are very professional and have very fast service. It made feel like I was on their priory list to get it done. I’ve definitely found my one stop computer shop. Thank you very much IHS Computers.

First thing these guys did was to assure me that if the problem was too serious they’d be able to get what I needed from my laptop. I just had extensive work done to move old data from an existing laptop to an new one. In addition to the data transfer, I wanted every setting to be exactly the same with my new laptop as it was with my old one. These folks did an amazing job. They transferred everything into the new laptop perfectly and it is exactly the way I want it. I have my own business so my laptop is my life. It was critical that this process go well and be done quickly. IHS exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend you check out these fantastic folks.

IHS Computers was able to complete the diagnostics on my computer the same day I dropped it off. They had most of the parts in stock, and were able to get the parts not in stock the next day. After replacing the parts and reinstalling Windows, we discovered that the wireless card was no longer working. The technicians took the time to identify the issue, while I was in the store, as opposed to other stores which would have attempted to sell me a new card. Thanks for everything!

I have taken my laptop to IHS Computers on several occasions for different things. Sharon and Kyle are so friendly and have been extremely helpful each time. I am not very computer literate so they explain things to me in a way that I can understand including writing notes for me so I am able to perform certain tasks once I get home. They dont let you leave until you are completely satisfied. I would not take my computers anywhere else.

Ive used IHS for over at least 10 years and they never disappoint. I cant say enough nice things about my recent technician, Mason. My desktop decided to crash yesterday and he walked me through the replacement process, even finding me the best local deal, so that I barely went 24 hours without a computer. He took my dead computer back to their office, they transferred all of my data, and Mason got me back up and running this afternoon without a hitch. Great company!

We as a Company do not give out reviews. However, in this case we will make an exception. How this Computer Company ever gets lower than 5 Stars would be a Mystery to us. First a few months back they recommended an Off Site Cloud Backup. All I can tell you is, that this has saved my business. I had a complete Hard Drive Meltdown. IHS had to do a complete computer makeover for us. If it were not for the Backup, well you get the picture. In the Fall we are producing a new Reality show entitled Computer Eye, for the Ignorant Guy ! This will Star various Employees of IHS. Also, we cant say enough about Mason, except this, he is possibly the single best Outside Representative a Company could have; Easy Going, Knowledgeable, to the Point. It was obvious from the beginning, his concern was for our business. Thank you IHS. We realize this is a Long critique. However, with a Business like yours in our corner, we trust our relationship will be a Long one. FYI, the reality show was actually just made up, but it could happen.

I had the pleasure of someone calling me today after his grandson tripped over the laptop power cord and damaged the dc port. He took it to this place and was told that it would be an extensive solder repair and was quoted over $ 200.00 for the repair. The actual cost of the replacement part is $6.00 from Amazon and the repair only required the removal of the back cover and 4 screws to replace the dc jack cable........ I really detest cheats and crooks.
