My 9 year old Macbook Pro was having some issues just a few days before I was scheduled to move out of the area. I called around and most places said they would need the computer for a few days and would charge $100 just to open it up. I brought it into Alboes, and they took a look at it on the spot. I walked out about 15 minutes later with a new RAM and a working computer for less than half of what the other places wanted just to take a look at it. 5 stars for great service and a great result!

Fast service bought what I needed and the dude working was friendly. The only “criticism” I have is y’all need to update your website store opening hours to reflect the door posted hours. I got to your store at 9:40 and you weren’t open. Other than that I don’t have anything to say negative.

Charging $1000 for a graphics cards that normally costs $500. We all expect this kind of price gouging from scalpers not retailers.

Amazing customer service!! I lost a lot of electronic devices due to a lightning strike and was required by my insurance company to get a diagnostic done on my Xbox. Best Buy wouldnt even touch it. Alboes was able to diagnose the issue, write me a detailed description, and were friendly throughout the entire experience. Without their help, Id be waiting months to receive a diagnosis from Microsoft. Im grateful for their candor and expertise. If you live in Columbus and need computer help, go to Alboes first.

Charming family owned local business! I was kindly greeted and promptly taken care of the minute I walked through the door. They answered all my questions in great detail and sold me an awesome product. They had a special running where I got a free used printer of my choice (up to 75$) with the purchase of a laptop /computer new or used (I picked the HP Photosmart 5520 I mean this printer is the bees knees ..I have already printed multiple quality pictures.) Alboes can even fix your computer from the comfort of your own home just by downloading an app. I have an amazing warranty that is actually through Alboes so you dont have to go through the pesky process of either mailing your computer back or waiting on 1-800 lines for hours. They also recycle old computers and printers which is a real service to the environment, at no cost. I would definitely buy from here rather than a chain store like staples or best buy-- just phenomenal service at Alboes.

I have been going to Alboes since 1985 and my first Commodore 64. They have been in Columbus a long time and I consider Chuck and his Son in Law, Sean, my personal friends because of that business relationship. Like the times, Alboes has had to evolve. They are always knowledgeable, honest and go out of their way to solve your computer issues. After buying from big box stores while away from Columbus, Ive seen the difference. With Alboes, youre buying more than a computer, youre buying the support and technical know-how to keep it running. And if they cant fix it, they dont fleece you. I dont shop anywhere else.

If you have an issue with your Macbook, I would not recommend going to this place!! I went in for a simple replacement of a battery for my Macbook Air. When they tried to replace the battery, they messed up the whole trackpad/keypad. I was out of my Mac for almost a week and the power button still doesnt work properly! I would definitely think twice before giving your computer for repair at this store because there is a good chance you might not get the computer back in its proper condition!
