Nice selection, mostly fair pricing, clean, and worth a visit

Forever games outside looks like a office district not too distinct. Just go in and take a look as they have practically any old gaming system and games you would want. I liked the gaming consoles were in cases and labeled alphabetically and each console had its own display for consoles and games.We came for the Pokemon cards though. They didnt at the time have new stuff like celebrations or evolving skies but they had a ton of old and graded merchandise. They have in cases labeled each deck of the uncommon, holos, reverse holos and secret and or alternate art rares.My wife and I purchased a few mewtwos and a shining mew from the shining legends deck. Will be back and perhaps for that sleeping Eevee plushie as the wife was quite fond of it.

Awesome shop full of games and cards. The store is beautiful and clean. The owner is honest and a collector himself. The staff is very helpful and the prices are very good. The products are legit and I plan on telling my friends of this location so they can check it out themselves. Stay awesome guys!

Super cool people and great selection of games and equipment

If you are into retro gaming this is the place to go. The outside of the building itself is non-descript (you better put the address into Google Maps or you might miss it), but inside is a treasure trove of games from about every game console you grew up with (from Intellivision/Atari up through the PS4/XBOX ONE). My family and I spent a good hour in the store going through the many different game titles available and came away with some good finds for the NES and SNES systems that I managed to find in my parents house (they also sell the vintage systems if you dont have them). The store clerk was very knowledgeable and helped guide us in our search. They also have some collectibles here such as Pokemon Cards. If you are a gamer, or have one in your life, I highly recommend coming here.

Good prices and really good deals on trading in cards or games for cash or store credit, they wont lowball you like gamestop. Great selection of video games and a growing pokemon collection. The employees helped me look through pokemon commons for an hour to get some cards for a deck.

One of the best video game stores Ive ever been to. Its definitely a bit weirdly laid out and small.but, its one of the few game stores that carries some crazy rare games/cards. If youre a collector, look no further. They also accept trades, which is great. Cool staff, awesome prices. Make sure to also check out their eBay store (ohiovideogames) if you want to check out their inventory before stopping by.

Forever Games is the Best Game Store ever.Better than Game stop,People are so friendly and very helpful, they have almost every game you can think of.Play Station 3,Play Station 4,etc,they even have old Game systems,this place is awesome, and #1 in my book.Best Game Store ever.

AMAZING hole in the wall retro gamestore. Was in town for work and googled retro game stores in the Columbus area and chose this one because of the ratings and was not dissapointed. Prices more or less matched pricecharting.com prices and some were even less which was nice. Due to covid a lot of stuff had been bought out but still had an awesome selection of master system, genesis, ps1, and snes games that I’m currently looking for. If they don’t have it in store they might have it on their eBay store so don’t hesitate to ask. If your in the Columbus area definitely stop by here!

Prices seem a bit high when i visited this place. Last time I came in was at the old location. Dont remember games being so pricey for retro games. I get it if it is certain old games with value but I noticed everything was expensive. Super Nintendo games looked pricey but to be fair it was in good shape. The reason I give 3 stars is because I can go to ultimate video game connection and get a better deal.Also I was looking for gameboy color games and they didnt have a show case for it. Just brought out a bag and dumped it on thd table. So I felt a little rushed. All and all i would just say this place is ok.

I have two main video game stores that I go to. One is capital games and the second is forever games. Forever games has an amazing collection of games and reasonable prices. The staff is always very helpful and nice and it never feels like they are rushing me out of the store. To end it off it is a nice game store with great people running it. I would recommend this store if you are looking for a game or a console.

Ive been in there multiple times since they opened. Never once had a problem. Came in to buy a Nintendo 64 just to speed run Super Mario 64. And now I come it to buy games for my other consoles. Lovely service and nice guys that work there.

A must see store. They are very good on pricing and have a huge selection. Nicest store we have found in the Columbus surrounding areas. They are very clean and organized. We drive over 2 hours just to go to forever games. The DVD section is phenomenal with tons of well known titles. They have a huge retro gaming collection which is priced fair. The staff is nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. If you’re looking to have fun and you enjoy movies and gaming this is the store for you. A lot of hidden gems are awaiting your arrival.

Very cool store. They definitely know what they have, dont expect to come in and get something for nothing, but at the same time the prices are indeed fair. They are a business, keep that in mind. HUGE selection of retro games, and several uncommon ones which is always awesome to see. A few uncommon consoles as well. Atari Lynx, Sega Saturn, etc. Even if I have no intention of buying anything I love coming in just to see what theyve got. Whenever Ive been in here, the guys who work here are always extremely polite. No issues whatsoever.

Arguably the best retro game store in the columbus area. Employees are always so respectful and willing to share their opinions and recent finds in terms of rare games which is always a plus. I love coming here. They also give extremely fair trade which is only one of the things I love about the store and they also have almost everything you could think of in terms of games. I will always be a loyal customer to them.

I love Forever Games! I visit everytime I come home from college to buy some more games for my retro systems. They have great prices and great customer service! Their repair service is excellent as well!

Called a couple weeks ago to price out some old super Nintendo games and spoke to Rowan on the phone, he was super helpful and made some suggestions and urged me to come check out the store. I made the drive the next day and ended up with a new SNES several controllers and a few games. Rowans suggestions were awesome and he got me excited to invest in a new set up! I had a great experience and I will be coming back very soon to rediscover more games and recommendations from Rowan. He hooked me up :) Thanks guys awesome shop!!

Very polite and fair treatment. Gamestop quoted me 70 for a power supply and Forever games gave me the same cord for $30. My new favorite gaming place. Rowan is the salesman that helped me and i am now going to be a return customer thanks to him

Decent selection, old and new games and systems, as well as a lot of DVDs. I was a little disappointed as I wasnt acknowledged at all the whole time I was in the store. I assumed maybe it was because they were helping customers when I came in, but another costumer came in a little after me and they greeted him with no hesitation. The prices were pretty good, found a recently released $60 game for $45, which is typically cheaper than what Ive seen at chains like GameStop. With such a small building there is no excuse for acting like a customer doesnt exist!

Awesome place to go shop for games

This is a decent game shop to visit they have an assortment of stuff at a seemly good price I only give it 3 stars because I came in awhile back to sell Pokemon cards and I had a big book of them. The guy who was working just flipped through my cards gave them no good look and said I could give you like 5 bucks for all 200. I then asked how do you determine if they are worth money and he told me there is a certain symbol that contributes to its worth. I went about my way at this point but taking 30 sec flipping threw my stuff and saying five bucks was disrespectful they arent that busy so he had enough time to properly look through what I brought in.

I write this as I go in almost every payday then 1 more time that week and maybe once more the following week just to check if anything new is in I have ALWAYS had a astronomically great experience here bought a ps2 a while back and the next tame came in to buy more games and the first words were Hello how are you how was the playstation I would never get that from gamestop or any other store in my experience fair prices about on par with online stores and I dont mind paying 5 or so dollars or more If it means I deal with these fellas
