This is the only place I found in the Columbus area that does casual Pokemon play during the week.The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and has a great sense of humor. I was glad to spend my money there.The Pokemon players were all friendly and willing to help each other.Excited to come back!

Great place. My usual go to where I get Pokemon booster boxes. Pretty good prices on them. My only gripe is they wont buy cards that are can be worth a lot. Everything else is great!

Nice place. A lot of business not really sure what others where buzzing around looking at but definitely a friendly place. I was there for the used DVD section (miss Buy Backs😥). Smaller collection but may grow as time goes by. I will pop in again to look for more!

I cannot rate VGMX highly enough. While I have not been to their store in person, I have ordered items from them. Unfortunately, USPS completely ruined the entire experience. I was delivered a shipping label, thats it. I reached out to the store to file an insurance claim and start the process. Tommy and the owners went above and beyond to ensure that the issue was fixed. Not only did they file the claim, but followed up on it, and eventually took it upon themselves to fix the issue by replacing the items they could and refunding the ones they couldnt. They also threw in a couple surprises for all of the trouble. They didnt have to do any of this, but they offered when USPS failed to fix their own issues. I WILL be shopping here again.

Fun shop. They had these cool welcome mats and took one home with a Yoda theme for our place. Store is laid out well, clean and friendly staff. We bought our first Pokemon Celebrations ETB pack and my wife pulled the Umbreon Gold Star, Shining Magicarp, Blastoise in the same ETB! They update their store frequently and will be back to check the case on the older Pokemon cards.

We loved this shop, its got a lot of variety in products and lets you look through all its mtg cards and the employees where friendly and amazing to have conversations with!!Will definitely revisit!

Vgmx is one of my favorite treat yo self places. They carry old school video games, and newer stuff. Theyve got MTG, and pkm which just hit my heart. You should definitely check them out!

Very helpful staff, welcoming this newbie and his kids into the world of Pokemon. They host game nights where players can face off in Pokemon, Magic and other card games. The store is stocked with a little of most every game and collectible hobby you can think of, all at roughly market prices. Worth a visit!

Decent prices on MTG stuff. Their accessories are all normal MSRP. A little price increase on sealed product, but their singles are very well priced. The workers definitely know their stuff and dont be afraid to ask for a promo if you spend some money :-)

VGMX has always provided friendly and welcoming customer service. I have brought my niece and nephew here to shop for Pokémon cards and the employees are always happy to help. Without requesting they have applied different promotions to our final sale which is always appreciated. On our last trip they also had a board game on the shelf that I have played with friends but never seen in a retail store before. That one came home with me lol

The place has a great atmosphere and a lot of their merchandise is priced at an affordable rate. They have a huge selection of games, consoles, POP figures and card singles.. That being said, when it comes to sealed cards they can get into price gouging territory. I didnt realize the new Pokemon Battle Styles ETBs only had 8 packs in then rather than 10 (I started playing again during Champions Path, so my knowledge of ETB norms being 8 packs was lacking) so I trusted the pricing was only slightly higher since they are in high demand. I dont blame a store for upping the price a bit when the demand is pretty high, but they had those ETBs at 50% above the MSRP price of $40 with a price tag of $60. I thought the MSRP was $50 because I had mistaken them for the same style as Champions Path, which turns out to be a premium run that includes 10 packs rather than 8 and a promo card. I was very disappointed to realize I had spent nearly $200 on 3 trainer boxes that were $20 overmarked a piece (1 for me and 2 for a couple of my friends) Im just disappointed to see another store buying into price gouging tactics. Ill visit again because the experience aside from that was good, but I wont be buying anything there thats even remotely in demand.

Ap my first opponent ever out of casual 8 top 10 pins on playmat he got me but very very great experience never had no issue these guys are humble friendly every thing u want in lgs! Extremely rude and defensive.DO NOT SELL CARDS HERE they will scam you and give you a lowballed price then kick people out who ask to see what people are selling. Terrible business. Ive been here many times and spent about $20 a week here so I hope they enjoy their $1000/year loss they have after telling my boyfriend off for asking to look at another customers collection of things that the business declined. Wont be returning, learn how to be nice bro.

Great media store. They have all current gen and most old gen games. They also have memorabilia and DVDs and Blu Rays at decent prices. From what I could tell most the games were well priced but some games could use some price lowering. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to go if you want to start a media collection.

Preordered a couple boxes of double masters from them way before they were sold out. Got an email today saying I will be refunded and they arent getting enough in for my order. I had even called them before ordering to make sure they werent one of those companies doing a preorder loan I recommended my friends to buy from them as well after the exchange (one friend preorders a case from them).For those of you who dont know a preorder loan is where a company takes your money for a preorder holds onto it for a couple months then refunds it right before the product comes out. Basically an interest free loan at the expense of others. The worst part is now I will not receive the refund for 3-5 days and the price of the product has gone up and will likely continue too.Very unprofessional behavior which should be illegal. Anyone with these business ethics should be avoided at all costs. To make matters worse, in their email apologizing for the mistake they try to sell me the vip version of the product as a consolation. They will give me $10 off if I order 3 packs at $100 a pack lol. Even if they gave me $10 off a pack (which they are not) it would still be more expensive then eBay or tcg prices. Shady all around avoid

Wide selection of TCG games both sealed packs and singles. Variety of quality protective gear for them as well. Also stocks video game equipment from retro to current. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful finding what you need.

I love VGMX great place for any kinda nerdy needs. Cards, stuffys, games, consoles, controllers, magik related anything, you can do buy and traids, the staff is really sweet and also fair and nice - they explain anything to me if ever needed, if I ever need help I can call them or come in and they are always super nice to me about explaing.

I cant really say much about this place. Its a bit beat up and needs a fresh coat of paint. Prices are reasonable, but selection is limited. A lot of the items are behind the counter, which could be an issue if you are just browsing. Magic the Gathering seems to be the big money maker here at the moment.

Great store for games, movies, comics and magic.Some of their new gen games are slim but that is probably because their customers know things go fast. I will browse, with not intent to buy, just to see if a gem was left behind.Their magic selection is awesome. There are some D&D supplies, no figures.*Happened a year ago but it influenced my buying*4 stars because a refurbished control I bought had bad drag. Admittedly I did not pay attention to the little refurbished under the giant NEW on the tag. Next time I will be sure to check and test. I was able to get a store credit to buy more magic.

Great alternative to corporate-controlled Gamestop. Has slightly changed recently with the addition of Magic the Gathering gaming and a section dedicated to this tabletop card game. Great deals on DVDs and games. Narrowed down their retro gaming titles significantly.

Took some MOTU in for a store credit to be used for a video console on the shelf. Agreed on the credit but when I came back to get the console they had sold it, even after they told me they had pulled it from the shelf so I could come pick it up. Wanted my MOTU back since they sold the console I wanted but they had sold my stuff, before they even paid me. He even bragged about how much money they were making off my stuff. I’ll never return. I miss the old owners.

I Come for Commander, but I keep coming back for the great staff and friendly players. Its my go to commander store. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about most magic questions. Everyone should check this store out.
