I only look at O scale trains. I know they carry a lot more than trains. Great selection of new and used. Good prices. Friendly. Personally I think its the best hobby shop in Columbus.

Could have been a 5 star, but no customer service. Selection of lional O gage is the best in central Ohio. Prices are between fair to good. Nothing over priced. They have a nice collection of older and newer inventory that is impressive. Nice collection of starter sets if your looking this is the place. If your looking for other hobby items they have a bunch. Ill be back soon hoping for knowledgeable service.

Drove down from near Cleveland Ohio and was definitely NOT disappointed. Great selection, phenomenal prices and very nice and helpful staff. Place was clean. Was able to check off all the items on my list that I needed and of course some I didnt realize I needed. Will be going back there for sure!

The staff here are always so great. We have a young autistic son who is always with us and obsessed with this store. They always turn on the train for us and give us a great deal. We will be back soon. We bought him a Thomas o gauge train and covered bridge also. Thank you!

Lots of product and prices are good. However, staff is not very helpful and gives answers that speed the sale (or speeds a return to their desk!) rather than being completely honest. Been burned and am shopping elsewhere now. Buyer beware!

We live out of state and were visiting family in Columbus. Took my kids and my nieces to Robbies so we could look for Hot Wheels. Everyone loved it. So much to look around at, even if youre not buying. My son and I are the only ones who care about Hot Wheels, but everyone already wants to go back. Owner is super nice, as well. Well definitely be back the next time were in Columbus!

Robbies Hobbies is a great place to shop for all kinds of new and vintage toys, trains and other items. Rob tries hard to keep his stock fresh and has extremely reasonable prices. Rob is a nice person, who is willing to talk with customers, and, his staff is knowledgeable and friendly, too.

Great little store and filled with hidden treasures for train lovers. Some of the product is a little shop-worn. We purchased something that had parts missing but the owner refunded us the next time we were in. Not many stores like this left. Its well worth the trip there.

The lady driving the company vehicle is a irresponsible driver. Ran red light to turn and almost hit us in a box truck and going to throw her hands up like we did something. Should get better drivers that are representing your company.

Eric and Scott came by to install a sign. They were mindful to make sure the sign met all the rules and requirements of the environment, and what we are looking for. The sign itself looks great, and the text is very legible. When I said I would like the sign moved so it doesnt damage some plant life, they were quick and responsive to make sure I chose a satisfying location for the sign. Later, when the professional Im working with called them to make an edit--they were also quick and responsive to make the changes. They had a great attitude to make sure we were satisfied with their work, and said they were happy to oblige. Thanks, guys!

And I drove 2 hours away to get what I needed for my Lionel trains because nobody else had what I wanted and the prices are great

I needed a train set to fit in a small space around my tree. The set I was given was so big it wouldnt fit where my dining room table is. I could find nothing on the internet so I went to Robbies expecting to spend a lot of money on a set that would fit. To my surprise they had an inexpensive set that fit the space I needed and it was way less than I could find anywhere else including online. Thank you Robbies for having something for all levels of interest not just for those who want a model railroad. When I am ready to advance I will definitely be back.

A wide selection of both new and used products....almost like stepping into an eBay, which is intended to be the utmost compliment. Bought some very interesting vintage cowboy miniature figurines which, prior to this store, I have only been able to find online. Highly recommend stopping by! Was initially welcomed to store but noone bothered to help me in locating product for train scale left to my own devices to search.When I finally found what I wanted I was asked if I wanted to check out and I said I wanted to look at some items in display case. Im guessing manager or owner sent a young man to counter who gave me items I wanted, helped me to counter then proceeded to check items and then handed it off to another young man and told him its your job anyway. The second young man told me it was 85.00 when I only had 30.00 of merchandise . When questioned and dhiwn 5.00 price tags adding to only 30.00 he said it was Tax! I dont think Ill be back.

I was in town to visit relatives. Had a nice shopping trip and found some nice old plastic model kits as well as an OOP rocket kit that lit my imagination. Tupelo donuts was on hand as well. Purchased his final dozen of banana cake. Yum.

The store’s service is amazing and the whole experience is a fun throwback. The inventory and the music they play is just super fun! And it’s even better when the Tupelo doughnut truck is outside 😋If you have a family and want to get out of the house on a Saturday, it’s a fun place to go. Or if you are really into model trains this is the place to go!

The gent behind the counter today helped explain the pre-war Lionel set I received, helped me with a new transformer and gave me some cleaning and maintenance tips to get the set running around the Christmas tree this year. Thank you!

Few months ago I purchased a HO Gauge steam locomotive for my son who leaves in Jacksonville Florida for his birthday. Robbie himself, told us that it ran. Send the HO Gauge steam locomotive to Florida and my son was disappointed when he received his birthday gift, that it DID NOT run like Robbie said. The wire between the locomotive and tender car was cut. Tried to splice and still unable to run.

Friendly people, got to meet Robbie - bent over backwards to help me get my HO scale railway set up and to make my 3 year old happy by letting conduct some of the trains!

Great stuff! I love that they carry used model trains, track, etc in addition to a great selection of new stuff.

Place reminds you of what a hobby shop from your childhood was, and is for many people. Not as much in the RC cars and drones but more of the slower hobbies as I would put it.
