On the rare occasion I go in the employees are polite and will pull up their masks. The problem I have is the pumps are incredibly slow. On 1/28/21 it took approximately 12-15 minutes to get less than a tank (14+ gallons). Had I not redeemed my user discount I would have left. It seemed all of the pumps were going at this unusually slow pace. Frozen molasses run more quickly than the gasoline. A frustrating experience.
Hi My Name Is Kay, Today is May 30th, 2019. I’ve Just been “released” from employment after my 3rd week of working at Truenorth in Polaris. The reason I got fired on my 3rd week is because on my second week of TRAINING I had scanned a customer ID who was trying to buy tobacco. Their ID rang up as 2001 and the girl was 18. Mind you the laws just changed from 18 to 21 and I’m in my second week of training unsupervised at the time and I got fired for a mistake. A simple mistake. Yes I understand that Truenorth had to have an inspection because of my act but Again I was only in training. So the Zone manager sat me in a office, showed me what I did wrong, and clearly I’m in training and I’m new to the company but he said that he had to “partways” with me. I felt very uncomfortable knowing that both the managers standing before me to fire me knew I’m still brand new, the laws just changed, and I was unsupervised while in a rush to serve customers. 🧐True north For you not to care about your employees or their well being or even giving them a chance I’m disgusted and now jobless with bill. IM IN ABSOLUTE RAGE AND YOUR MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE.
The guy working at the counter was rude, disrespectful, and had a generally bad attitude. I have worked in customer service my entire life and even when I have bad days I dont treat people this way. I attempted to just make polite conversation more than once and on every attempt he not only shut it down in an instant, but he also acted as if me talking was just a further inconvenience to his day. I would love to talk to management.
For the eighth consecutive time I had to go to the clerk to get a receipt for my fill up. When I asked Keelie if the printers at the pumps ever work, she said yeah, but sometimes they get backed up. When I asked if it was just coincidence the printers have been backed up for me eight straight times, her response was Oopsie. When I asked if that was her official employee response, she said have a good day sir. This hire is a reflection of management. It speaks volumes. I will not be returning to this station. BTW, I would have rated this experience subzero if that had been an option.
Turn around is awesome under the new staff..very clean bathrooms,very friendly employees..management very assertive gas prices are awesome..love the promos...frequent often because of cleanliness and staff...good job Shell!!!!!
