The customer service and location here is great. The drinks however are just a tad better than starbucks. The espresso is watery with little flavor. This shop has a great espresso machine but its definitely not being used the way that it could be.

Literally the slowest drive thru on the planet. 20+min to get 4 cars through only to be told that my drinks were made wrong and “is that ok or would you like them remade?” After waiting 20min?!?!!! Also not pet friendly, was told my 6 pound puppy that was being held in my arms was a “safety hazard” and I wouldn’t be allowed to order. Been treated with disdain almost every time I’m there. I’m a block from this location and have honestly driven miles to Starbucks to avoid dealing with them.

Coffee is delicious! Went inside today, for the first time. Only my second time here. I saw this brownie in the case and it called my name.. Pam oh Pam you need me.. 😋. They were very busy yet the gentleman that waited on me made me feel like I was the only one there. I will be going back again and again. Oh I also love that they use a local bakery.

I love local coffee shops and enjoy this one when I am in this part of town. Large menu but not overwhelming. Good selection including food items. Sandwiches are much bigger than other coffee shops. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Love the drive thru. Highly recommend strawberry banana smoothie for non-coffee drinkers!

The craft of their brew, plain, simple; is good. However it’s sort of just another place that adds to much processed dairy and sugar. I don’t think of this is a curated local grinds cafe or some fine Italian espressos. It’s American coffee for sure, AND it can be indulgent and tasty for sure. I think they have some lovely baked goods and when sticking to their classics, good coffee etc.

Quick service, delicious cold beverages - i would absolutely recommend the malt cold brew, if it ever comes back on the menu (had it March 2021, but then in late April 2021 it was already not available).

Good coffee. Sometimes has tupelo donuts. Their breakfast sandwich bread is very hit or miss on freshness.

I’ve been going here for years. The last year the quality of everything has gone downhill: customer service/friendliness (25% of the time I might get a friendly cashier- they’re not all bad) drinks, time to get said drinks in drive thru, etc. I had to call in 4 times in the first half of this year for drinks that were either undrinkable or just flat out wrong- and I hate to do it but that’s $25 in the trash if I don’t. I let it slide quite a few times before I started calling in, thinking maybe it’s training season/lost good employees because of Covid, what have you. This is a disappointment after 10 years of satisfied patronage, and I have pretty much given up hope that things will change.

A nice place to go for some coffee and/or to chill! Like Ive been doing lately, I stopped in, grabbed an espresso and did some work on my laptop. Plenty of space to do so, internet provided by the shop, and cozy atmosphere. Theres a patio outside too with some benches, perfect for beautiful days like today was!

Awesome speciality coffee drinks, nice staff, and solid food options! Can’t go wrong with Crimson Cup.

Armandos Blend whole bean is my go to for making my own espresso with rich crema. Its a superb roasted bean.

My first time coming here and I thought it was a great place to do work. When it gets busy, it does get a bit loud and cramped. Theres not many tables, nor big tables for groups. Theres free WiFi and plenty of parking! Staff was very friendly and I loved their selection of drinks.I got the large Matcha Latte and absolutely loved it ~$4.25. I didnt like the chairs and tables much, just because they got uncomfortable after a bit. There are couches, but I couldnt do work while sitting in one. This place is good to work alone, but not great for a bigger group. I love the natural lighting and the outside patio seating. Theres also a food truck out front!I recommend this place for a calm environment, place to work, and good drinks.

Price point is similar to Starbucks or Dunkin but I think the product is much better. They go light on sweeteners as well which I appreciate.

Overpriced as are almost all coffee shops and other storefronts these days but employees were professional enough and service was reasonably prompt

The frozen Mayan Mocha was soooo good!

A genuinely wonderful cafe, I cannot recommend them enough. If youre not even a coffee person, I still recommend them, their drink options are diverse and delicious. Their quick and accurate service is only equal to their clean and pleasant interior seating area. A warm, contemporary interior welcomes you in to a lovely aroma of freshly ground and roasted coffee. And if all of that still isnt enough, they have food trucks there on occasion, such as Cousins Maine Lobster to name one. So thats pretty nifty too.

Ive been coming here for quite a few years. The manager knows me by name. Theyve been great during the pandemic. Always friendly, and always producing a delicious, quality product. Check out the New Orleans iced coffee! And if I missed breakfast, I have them add some protein powder to my Chai Freeze. Please tip them every time you go!! They work so hard in the drive thru!!

Great staff! Super informative about what is gluten-free since I have celiac disease. Thanks to the Crimson cup coffee shop I was able to order a delicious iced coffee will definitely be back!

Nice local coffee shop. Im not a regular, but Ive been here about a dozen times or so now, and Ive not had any bad experiences. Ive tried some seasonal lattes, coffee (cream and sugar), muffins, breakfast sandwiches, and theyve all been very goodStaff has been friendly when I come in as well, although since covid-19, Im fond of ordering ahead with the app. App is user friendly for the most part. Just check the drop down boxes (e.g. select breakfast sandwich, but after selecting that, you choose which type of breakfast sandwich from a drop down menu).Overall: Will return and would recommend

Disappointing. The cashier that took our order was surly, never once smiled at us, didnt even greet us & failed to communicate one of our latte modifications. When we got our drinks, we noticed right away it wasnt what wed asked for & the barista tells us, Well, it wasnt in the notes. Then she just looks at us like she wants us to take the incorrect drinks anyway. We asked that she remake them, which she did, but she seemed irritated that we asked. Lattes were just ok.

Place is a hub of activity. Simple straight forward menu with coffee and bagels with other morning standards

The iced chai tasted like milk with a ton of syrup. I did not drink it. It was a waste of $4.95. We got it at the drive-thru. I threw it away.

Usually love them. Whoever I just interacted with rushed me and the coffee spilled. No big deal, clearly my accident.. but no offer to make a new one, and still rushed me out. That’s why Starbucks has the following it has, because of customer service. Learn it.

Friendly staff. I really like their seasonal coffee drinks the best. Pumpkin latte was very pumpkinny!Returned a couple weeks later and tried the red velvet coffee drink. Oh man was it good.Returned a couple months later and they had a super delicious Coconut Mocha. Of course, you have to like coconut.

I love their new mobile app! You can place an order on the app, collect points, and itll be ready for you pretty quickly. Our order was ready when we got there and we just picked it up at the table sitting right inside the door. Super quick, super easy, and super delicious.

Barista yelled after I moved one chair that was not being used. Almost half the chairs were unused at other tables with people occupied at them. This chair was needed so I could sit at a table with my co worker. Because I wasn’t “allowed” to move this chair I had to leave Bc I had nowhere to sit. Customer service here is extremely poor. Would not recommend this spot.

Ordered a latte and the lady asked hot or frozen and I said hot, but they made me frozen and I was like, oh Im sorry but I ordered it hot and the girl was like oh, it was rung up as frozen, sorry. So, it wasnt corrected and I just paid for a drink I didnt want.

Wouldn’t recommend, I paid $3.50 for a cup of milk (latte apparently)

A bit pretentious and underwhelming. Drinks are overpriced, over sweetened and delivered by not terribly friendly staff.

Wonderful place for a quick cup of coffee, or a flavored blended coffee. The employees here are great and have wonderful drink suggestions. They keep the drive through moving quick so you never have to wait long to get your drink!

Excellent service and many drink varieties

I appreciate that they have have some limited seating inside despite the COVID emergency. I do have one complaint/issue/question: At one location (Lane Ave) they charge me .50 for liquid sweetener (not a premium flavoring) but at two other locations they do not charge for that. Not sure if I should be getting charged for it.

We love the N High location granted I will go to any Crimson Cup over Starbucks any day. Preferred coffee place. Clean and super nice service. Reasonable prices. Everytime my spouse orders a Mayan Mocha with almond milk they consistently remind us it will still contain a little dairy and they know not to add whip cream without asking. Love the consistency attention to detail!

My coffee is always delicious and the frozen coffee drinks are always nice and thick unlike Starbucks. The people are super nice and the drive through is so convenient especially right now during the pandemic. The frozen Mayan Mocha is my fave right now, and they always have investing new specials to try!

The coffee is always very good and today the attractive young lady who served me my drink actually educated me about my own credit card with the ability to pay by just tapping it on their reader. Who would have known? Thanks Crimson Cup!

From initial research, Crimson Cup - Clintonville appeared to be a welcoming shop to sit down and work in. Most of the staff are friendly and professional. However, one gentleman by the name of Travis was unwelcoming, underdressed and not professional. As I travel and work remotely, Travis made it clear that I would not be able to work at his location until I replaced a competitors mug from my table. That, you will not work here with anothers mug in our establishment. Unknowing that I would be a paying customer. As it seems the coffee shop is reputable to the local community, this review is based on my experience with the talk from behind the counter and lack of customer service.

Disappointed.We (my daughter and I) are here several times throughout the week. I purchased 2 cans of cold-brew for her, which she didnt like. When I went to return the other unopened can, I was told that I was pretty much stuck with it as there was no return policy. I thought that perhaps I could just get a couple of cups of coffee. I was given just one. The cans of cold brew are $3.99 each.

I absolutely love this place!!!! I went because a friend recommended it and WOW- really exceeded my expectations. The coffee was delicious and the staff was so kind, knowledgeable and quick. I was “served” by the manager on duty, Courtnie, who gave me amazing recommendations. I really enjoyed the fact that oat milk is offered as well as a veggie sausage sandwich. Will definitely be returning every time I’m in town. F Starbux!

I was not satisfied with my order today in June 2020. I spent a full $30 at Crimson Cup to try some of their different drinks and food. Got the Mayan Mocha, Smoothie, and Breakfast Sandwich.Sandwich had NO CHEESE and ONE SMALL SLICE of bacon on it. Just a $4 joke. 2 slices of bread and 1 piece of bacon, lol.Drinks tasted like pure sugar, no cocoa, cinnamon, strawberry banana flavor whatsoever.Smoothie didnt even seem made from real fruit, its made from a mix and whatever mix brand they use is cheap and bad. THATS how bad this place is. Even McCafe Smoothies are better.In all honesty Id rather go to Starbucks or McDonalds (that aint saying much), this place is worse.

Solid coffee, kind staff, 2 bathrooms, BUT Wi-Fi didnt work well at all. So, if you want a coffee spot to camp out at and get things done that require the internet, this isnt the place.

The best espresso around! Very helpful and polite staff. Nice sitting area and nice outside patio with umbrellas. My only complaint is the lack of nutrition information for the food they sell. I even asked a manager how I could figure it out and he did not know.

Was at a Womens Conference at Leave A Mark Church, coffee was amazing, asked and they purchase their coffee from Crimson Cup. I was so impressed I stopped at this location. The drive thru associate was very friendly and helpful in answering my questions, explaining their roasting process, their brands, my choice was better than expected. I will return and visit inside as well

My absolute favorite. Their maple latte is seasonal, but I crave it all year. And if I go too long without one of their chai lattes and/or a flat white, I get antsy. Theyve ruined me for all other coffee shops!

By far, the BEST frozen coffee in the city.. The state, the midwest, the nation, and quite possibly- The world! (They also have an awesome crumb cake! Yum!)
