Had only an hour before an important meeting and found great almost- new clothes. Staff was really helpful: like a girlfriend giving honest feedback & suggestions! I even walked out with one new outfit on! Highly recommend!

Pretty disappointed. I brought in literally as much as I could to sell. All of it was name brand, hardly worn and clean. They didnt buy one thing. They told me that they dont buy things over three years old. I still cant find anything that says that on the website and wasnt told that when I came in. Just a huge waste of time. However, the staff was really nice -- I dont want this review to be completely negative. Its just a shame I wasted the better part of my evening schlepping around some really nice clothes for nothing.

Most of the clothes I bring in still have tags yet they dont accept them. You need to hire ppl that know styleAlso they might want to greet ppl before they harass about wearing a mask.

This is the best place ever!! I just started a new job, and needed a whole new wardrobe. I seriously bought 6 pair of name brand pants, some with the original tags still on, and 7 name brand tops, also some with the tags still on, for $100.Buying those clothes new, probably would have cost at least $500, considering the brands I bought. This place is genuinely the best find for clothes that truly look brand new. They have tons of clothes, with sizes from 0 to 4x- it could be higher, but I definitely recall seeing that size. They also have huge clearance racks, which takes already low prices, down to just a few dollars- I got some high brand tops for two bucks, and less...!! The average prices for dress pants seemed to range about $10-$16 but I got mostly clearance items and the average price for high brand dress/business casual pants was about $10. My highest priced item was an $18 pair of Cabi brand pants, with tags still on, which I found for $125 online, after I got home- seriously. Its VERY clean, they clean the dressing rooms after each customer, and I actually overheard them discussing their cleaning standards, which are stringent. The cashiers are extremely friendly, and helpful. Its a comfortable, laid back atmosphere, and not in your face asking you constantly if they can help you place, as you often find with high end brand retailers- I hate those places. However, they are there the moment you ask for something. I cant stress more how awesome this place is. In fact, we went to two Clothes Mentor stores in one evening, because they are within five miles of each other, and they are both absolutely fabulous. If youre in need of a new wardrobe, or just like shopping for new clothes, Clothes Mentor should be one of your go to places!!

I had some troubles with codes and purchasing items online. Their team was so helpful and so understanding it was amazing to have such good customer service. I will definitely keep shopping with them!

Good place to sale and buy womens clothing.

I brought in a Kate Spade purse new with tags. They offered me $18 for it and said it was because it was missing the long strap. I asked how much they would offer me if I brought in the long strap, and they said $43. So basically a single purse strap is worth more than the actual purse?? They are definitely scammers. Oh and I sold my purse without the strap on Poshmark the same day for $65. What a joke.

They dont buy name brand clothing that is in style, and they sell clothing with holes and bleach stains. Im out of reasons to visit this store.

Awful experience! The ladies didn’t even go through my bins of clothes. I dropped it off and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes yet it was ready in 5 minutes. Everything was folded the same way I took it in. They said they didn’t accept junior clothes but some items were not junior styles. Rude service. Do not recommend!

My go to spot for beautiful and inexpensive clothing. Super clean, well organized and a great selection. I have a closet full of clothing from here, many were new with tags. This is not like Goodwill, every item is in excellent condition and a current style and the prices reflect that. I cant recommend this store enough.

I used to love shopping here but now since they have the mask police, it’s hard to shop without an associate inspecting your mask and screaming at you if you touch, adjust or pull it down your mask to get a breathe of air. I’ve noticed lately the store is quit empty, I’m sure they are running away there customers with there mask obsession.

I liked the place and their selection of clothes. Staff was friendly overall too. Prices were also very good for the quality of stuff you can get there. I found things I liked, things I wanted, but no dice on my hunt for the perfect plaid dress.

Service here is better than the Dublin location. Holly is the best! She was super patient while I decided on purchasing something in the showcase. Decent selection as well. They are picky when it comes to purchasing items you bring in but they all seem to be. A good place to shop if you work in an office but cant afford the new new.

I just patronized the store in Upper Arlington, Ohio and was Extremely disappointed in the customer service provided from an employee by the name of Leslie. She was very aware that I was next in line after waiting several minutes for a cashier, then proceeded to take the person after me (which we both told her I was next) then told someone else to wait on me at which point she was busy so I waited for her!I shop at all your stores quite frequently and I felt Very Discriminated against seeing I am of color!!!!Not sure that I will be back after this experience!

Im glad theres a place in the area that you can be so close to although they dont offer you very much at all. The personnel is okay when I dropped my clothes off the lady was pleasant and nice when I picked them up it was a different person and she was not very nice at all I had slightly moved my clothes that they werent going to buy and she about bit my head off then my pen wasnt working right so shes like fold over the receipt very snippy she didnt say thank you or anything.maybe she was having a bad day but when youre a customer service you do not treat your customers that way. I will not be back to the store.

Apparently shoe heels can be too tall? Second time Ive taken items there to sell. And they have some pretty interesting ways of saying they dont want your clothes. I will save people some time... If your clothes arent new off the rack dont bother. Go shop at DFW or Torrid.

Store was nice, well organized. Really good idea to have. There was a lot to be desired in regards to service. Dropped off clothes, decided to wait and wait I did. They actually forgot about me. After an hour I asked if they were done... they said oh yes, youve been done for quite some time. They forgot! Awesome apology too considering there was none.

A sellers nightmare. They will only buy clothes purchased new in the last two years. I wish they had said that up front to save some time. When I came back up pick up my stuff, the clerk rambled on in some company lingo. It took me a minute to understand that they didnt want to buy any of my clothes. They had also thrown my clothes in a wrinkled pile, even dragging them on the floor! A dry clean only dress was covered in dirt. I guess no one else will buy it now either. They were polite until they realized they didnt want my stuff and then they just ignored me and abused my items.

My new favorite consignment store! Havent been here in a few yrs. But, what a surprise - I found lots of great prices on high quality clothing! I had a few things I was looking for and a Clerk named Jodie was so much help (without being a bother) She kept checking in on me to see how I was doing! Pleasant and honest! Ill be back soon!

Clothes for tall people! I found at least a dozen pairs of jeans size 8 or 10 that would work for a six foot tall woman. Many of them were actual tall/long sizes. Also got a fabulous full-length orange mesh dress for summer. Really cool place!

Nice store. Good selection. I want to add that if you are selling or consigning clothing, you will NEVER get much for what you are offering. Lower your expectations. Stores are in this for a profit, so they will buy very low and charge more. I recommend donating old clothes to Goodwill instead, unless you dont mind getting only a few bucks in return, or have really, really spectacular clothing.

Unfriendly, dismissive staff. Rejected my box of clothing because they dont take juniors items, although there was not a single juniors item in the box. They missed out on an Anthropologie dress that has only been worn once, and a whole host of designer and name-brand items. I really wish I understood. If they had told me it was because they are overstocked, then that would be understandable. But they didnt make an attempt at a logical explanation. I have been to many locations and have always had a high rate of success. I have been to this location 3 times and have never had success. I dont know why I keep trying, but I can promise I will not try again!

We stop at Clothes Mentor today and had a great experience. We bought several items and some were half off. The store was very clean and the clothes selection was awesome, they also had lots of boots, shoes purses.

I used to like this location but it’s gotten so much worse. The store has been “recently remodeled” and it looks awful. Piles of customer clothes in plain sight, super messy and disorganized, some clothes clearly laying on the floor, not in baskets or bins. It looks like the remodel is not finished? Horrible choice.I called in to check which items they were buying, only to bring in items and have them turned down because they were “overstocked.” This is fine but why not tell me on the phone before I wasted my time?If you want to sell your clothes, just download the Poshmark app and sell there. I was offered $18 for 6 items, 4 of which were brand new with tags. I declined and listed the items on Poshmark the same day. One of the dresses I listed sold in 6 hours with a $24 profit to me - more profit on one item than what Clothes Mentor offered me for 6 items!Additionally, the customer service here has declined greatly. I was ignored for several minutes when I came in to sell and ignored again when I came to pick up. When I was in the middle of listening to the associate tell me my offer, she literally looked over and started having a conversation with someone else IN THE MIDDLE OF WHEN SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE TALKING TO ME. It wasn’t an emergency or anything pressing, just rude and classless behavior.This might be an OK place to shop but don’t expect kind, attentive customer service. These stores really need a training overhaul. Definitely do not waste your time selling here unless you are absolutely desperate for cash (and even then, you probably won’t make any).

I really like this store and my entire family shops here, but I am very confused about the new layout. Who would have made a decision of changing the employees station the way they did it? The beautiful black wall, with the expensive purses clothing and shoes is gone. All of the boxes that were hidden behind the wall, are now exposed (like Platos closet -ugh). The wall was also used to hide the electrical door, which is also exposed. The entrance went from a classy look to a used mess. Sorry to see that.

Live right around the corner. Love this place. My only 2 complaints are they need a doorbell by the dresding rooms so you can ring when you want to try on clothes as you stand there trying to flag someone down . second and most importantly, they need to extend the points YOU earn, to six months. Thats a huge one for me. Ive lost my points once or twice and so has my sister in law. Or just make it where your points never expire. .

Ive Always liked this location. I remember when it a split store of platos closet and this. I dont usually like the misses clothing but some times there will be something young here. I run through the shoes and bags here this is the best clothes mentor compared to others in area. Upper Arlington is kind of off the beaten path but you wont drive here for nothing...there is a large tjmaxx/home goods, Ohio thrift, and VOA thrift store right within viewing distance form one another! Real simple, old money equals nicer things and the people of the area reflect that!

Waste of time. They wont purchase new items with tags, claiming theyre out of style, yet I see stained, smelly clothes circa 1992 on hangers. Refused to buy or sell there ever again.

Clothes are good value. I also dropped off some for sale (done thus before)and the person at the desk was the most unfriendly person! It was like I was such a bother to have her check my box of clothes in. No hello, no good bye, talked to her co worker about some issue the entire time. I dont expect to be greeted like a princess or anything but an acknowledgement that i was there shpyld be standatd. They werent busy so that wasnt it, just unfriendly.When my clothes/money were ready they called my husband who worked nearby to tell him. When he stopped to pick up he was told they couldnt give him the items they didnt want or the money for the things they bought. So why did they call him? ( he had dropped items off before for me) so I had to make an exta trip in.

My wife and I tok three large bins full of stuff there. Most of the items did even had tags on them still. Out of all the stuff they offered us $7 for three pair of jeans. What a joke. We will never be going back there again. We went to the location in Gahanna. They are rude and could really care less that they are taking advantage of people. Save your time and have a garage sale then donate what you dont sell to people that could use it.

This clothing mentor has the most unfriendly employees .. We visit the one in Westerville, Gahanna & the one on Karriq square& this store has never been welcoming/ friendly.. Not sure what the difference is at this store but if you like friendly positive people you may want to shop at the other locations is central Ohio..

This place is a joke..... My ol lady took name brand purses in there that were all numbered and well cared for they turned them all down saying they were fake (after we had someone who is experienced look at them all to make sure) The lady at the store told us on the phone she looked up the purses with the numbers and she would buy them and then when we got there we were turned down..... So they gave us false information on the phone and made us take an hour and half drive for no reason after telling us via phone they wanted them..... LV, GB, and COUCH are expensive purses and all ours were numbered.... Then the lady that checked the items ripped the handles on one of our purses and said because the handles she couldnt take them right after she ripped them..... Dont go to this place its not worth the time nor the gas they will turn you down or they will destroy your stuff and tell you thats the way it was even if you just looked at it 5 mins before going in there
