My experience was ”ok” with John Long. But upon walking in you can tell that this establishment is only accustomed to selling to “their kind” and especially not woman who knows more about cars than a man. I had an outside financier and ready to buy. Waiting for the check to arrive to their dealership. John Long doesn’t work on weekends so he passed me to Mike, which was the worst. I simply asked was there an oversight by the service department as there was no engine cover covering the engine. Mike said “you can buy the car like it is or buy a car somewhere else” I said EXCUSE ME! “I want this car just wanted to make sure that the service dept didn’t forget to put it back on after cleaning under the hood.” He continued to be rude and dismissive. As if and engine cover is a consideration and a requirement for the sale of a vehicle.Anyway I called my financing company and canceled the check that they said never made it to the office and it actually was there!Make sure you look under the hood BEFORE you purchase because a engine is not something you bargain IT ACTUALLY SHOULD BE ON CAR AT TIME OF PURCHASE.
I always feel confident when doing business with Willy Herold. I have bought cars from them and used their automotive shop for oil changes and other small repairs brakes door handles etc. I have always been satisfied with there honest, dependable and affordable service.

Greeted with smiles right when I walked through the door got approved for the car I wanted everything just went very smooth.. They do not over price like most around here most of the vehicles on the lot very low mileage. Ill def be back thank you guys for all your help (:

Bought a car from them that came with a bunch of issues, some of which were simple that should have been fixed before I bought it but they said there was no way of knowing if it was their fault or my fault so I was responsible for them all. Purchased their warranty which the salesman kept pushing because it supposedly covered so many things, but after paying over $1000 into it, it never covered any of the issues I had.The service department is incredibly incompetent - on two separate occasions I took my car there for an issue, and had to take it back a week later because they didnt fix it. I called in about an issue on a Saturday and one of the techs told me it was a common issue with a different model and he could fix it for me. He poked around for less than 10 minutes and said my model didnt have the same set up and would have to bring it by the following Monday, and he charged me $100 for that. After complaining about it, they were only willing to refund $50 of it.The following week after that, the problem started happening again (because the tech forgot to take a tab off a replacement part, according to the receptionist) so I took it back in on a day the service department was closed, and spoke with one of their salesmen about it. When he found out I wasnt there to buy a car he seemed really uninterest in my problem and basically shrugged his shoulders and said I could just take my car elsewhere to get it fixed if I wasnt happy.Ive had nothing but bad experiences with this company and cant recommend them to anyone.

Was recommended for their services on my 2010 Honda Accord. I just popped in on a Saturday to get a service menu price list. Theyre very professional very friendly. The tech was in and was able to give me an oil change on a Saturday. The prices for their services are very reasonable. I look forward to doing future business with them. I will be getting a rotation and balance and a front end alignment. I will leave another review and let you know how it goes. So far I am very impressed with their professionalism and their prices

We had a wonderful experience! I found the vehicle i wanted to look at on their website and when we got to the dealership it looked exactly how it looked in the pictures. Stephan was super Laid back and easy to work with. I feel in love with the vehicle and we decided to buy right then. The process was pretty quick and easy! We even had our 3 year old twins with us and they even enjoyed being there! We will absolutely go there again!
I went there today looking to buy a car. I test drove one and we worked out the price and everything. I told the salesman that I would be back on Monday to pick the car up because I needed to go to the bank. Andy Garcia told me that he would put a sold sign on the car. I took a nap and woke up to 3 missed calls, and he left a message telling me that he sold it. If you want someone who will lie to you, someone who will make empty promises to you, and someone who is just after the dollar Andy Garcia is your man. His handshake and his word me nothing. Hell lie through his teeth straight in your face. 10/10 do not recommend.
Although I did not end up buying a car I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience at Willy Herold. The salesman John who helped me was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He did everything he could to get me in my dream car. I would highly recommend anybody checking this place out, they have a wide selection of different vehicles with a very hometown feel. 2 weeks ago my gf and I went here to check out a car we saw online. When we arrived, someone was test driving the car so we just looked around the lot. It didnt take long before a gentleman came out to greet us who just happened to be the owner himself. He was very pleasant and wanted to help us find a vehicle that fits our budget. He wasnt pushy at all but informative by letting us know what was available on this lot and his other location we might be interested in. I appreciate that because car shopping can be a drag and I like getting to the point. Luckily, the test drivers didnt want to buy the car we were interested in so we test drove it. We liked it and we bought it. What sets Willy Herold Automotive apart from other used car lots is that he puts a dealers warranty on ALL vehicles that dont have a manufactures warranty. The warranty wasnt much but it let me know that he is confident he isnt selling junk cars to people because he is willing to pay if something were to happen to it. The car is running great and we are very pleased with our purchase!

I bought a used vehicle from them this summer. Paid cash, things were great. UntilIt rained and my car stopped working. (Engine sensors getting wet) Then I had to replace the battery within two months of purchasing the vehicle, and now the heater won’t work the first time I’ve gone to use it. They claim it was working when it was sold, but to now have to pay almost $2,000 to replace clogged and broken parts, from their 101 point inspection... you should stop and probably rethink. Immediately after driving it off the lot a German cockroach was in the vehicle, I suppose that was the sign of horrible things to come. But now I know and y’all should too. Other than that I do love my vehicle. I just don’t think I’ll ever go there, or allow family and friends to go to Willy Harold automotive.

Saw a Ram truck on autotrader that I wanted to look at. I went in with pre-approval from my credit union took look at the truck. Test drove it for 15 minutes by myself, and the next morning came in with a check and bought it. The truck was priced below bluebook and NADA and they were incredibly friendly every step of the way. They stayed late the first day to fax information over to my bank and everything! I would 100% recommend Willy Herold.

Darnell Smith how I wish I had read your comment prior to stepping foot on to this car lot, located at 4320 WARM SPRINGS RD. It is VERY apparent that racism oozes just below the surface of W.H. and J.L. I purchased a car from this place almost a month ago and have yet to receive the 2 remote keys that I was promised prior to the transaction. Instead I was given 1 key that had obviously been rigged just enough for it to work.Secondly, the tire pressure light came on within days of driving the car off the lot. My daughter took the car back for them to take a look at it. She was told the sensor needed to be replaced and it would cost $70. I spoke with Willy and asked if they would take care of it, given the circumstances, to which he agreed.I received a call from the Willy yesterday, told me to have my daughter bring the car by, so that he could program the keys (that weve been getting the run around on for the last 3 weeks.) She gets there within 45 mins of the call and hes gone. She was told by the workers that his wife had made him come home.I received another call from Willy this morning, telling me I could come back today, so he could program the keys, but to call first, which I did. I get there, give the key to one of the shop workers (rude) he pulls the car to the shop. In the meantime, Im sitting waiting, Willy passes by me SEVERAL times and pretends not to see me, did not say a single word. Finally, when he was finished with the key (not keys,) because he messed up the first one. He told me he would have to order another one, now that he knows what hes doing... I proceeded to tell him how rude the people there are, including him for walking past me at least 10 times and not acknowledge me with a simple hi. He in turn tells me he didnt know he needed to speak and that Im the rude one. He goes on to tell me that he did me a favor by stopping cutting grass, to come in to help me. Wow, really Willy? A favor? Is that what you call it. I was thinking more along the lines of, you were doing your job.As I was leaving (still short 1 key) Willy tells me he was going to fix the sensor as a courtesy, but since I said he was rude, hes not going to fix it. What real MAN goes back on his work? How evil and unprofessional is that? Willy, if youre able to sleep at night, treating your customers this way, then have it at, but just remember, God has the last say in every situation.
Went to buy a 2010 Lexus is250 and my dad had co-signed with me. Received a call an hour and half later telling me I was approved and we could go further with paperwork the next day. Two hours later and I receive a phone call saying that they would no longer approve it. Honesty obviously does not live here or telling someone the correct information isnt a policy either.
Second time buying from them. Easy transaction. Love the free tshirt at the end, lol.

I was an on-line shopper from Panama City, Fl. who lost a vehicle to Hurricane Michael. I chatted via e-mail several times with Janet at the Veterans Pkwy location while I continued to search for something closer to home. Janet was always pleasant & answered all my questions. We negotiated long-distance & basically closed the deal before Id even seen or driven the car. We finally got the insurance check & made the 4hr trip to see & drive the car & meet Janet; or Janets as it turns out... LOL! I love my 2011 Scion xB!! It is an awesome, quality vehicle as advertised & the process was painless. The Janets are sweethearts & I wont hesitate to do business with them in the future!!
We had gotten are last car from here. My wife was in an accident. The car was totaled. We called to let them know. The first thing they asked was if every one was ok. They were more worried about my wife being ok then the car. The way they help us with everything. We got are next car from them. Janet help us so much with helping to find a new car to help with what the insurance company need for the pay off. I can not thank them enough for all there help.

I wasnt even a customer of this shop, but I would reccomend them to ANYONE. They are shining examples of good people. I had a flat tire this morning. And pulled into the parking lot. No one was there yet. So I left a note on the door for the owner to know I would be sending my grandfather there to change the tire and bring it to me because I had to be at work by a certain time. When my grandfather got there, they replaced the tire for him. Gave him a tire out of the shop and did it for FREE OF CHARGE. As a single mother, this was nothing but a BLESSING. THANK YALL SOOOOO MUCH!
Very easy to get customer service and support
I was visiting Columbus when my car starting running hot. It is a saab and apparently very few in columbus service saabs, but Willy Herold has in the past. They were able to look at it and give me guidance to get back home safely where I could have it fixed. They were very nice to me when I really needed this help. They are busy so call to check availability if you have a Saab, but if you have a Saab in Columbus you know how important it is to find someone who works with them!
If anybody needs the best auto care, this is the place to go !
