In June this year, We purchased our first highlander limited from this dealer. overall customer service was great and finance deal was just ok because they hava had very few of what we wanted . They took three months to process a $2,700 refund for gap insurance and an extended warranty on a car that I no-longer owned. If you need anything from the finance department, good luck getting a response. Had to call several times and it went to voicemail. They didnt return my voicemail. I wont be doing business with Toyota West again.

Good customer service, and I mean REALLY good customer service is rare nowadays, but Brian at this Toyota location is someone passionate about what he does and cares about the customers who come here. My Toyota had been stalling and Id been to a few mechanics and auto shops each providing me with a different expensive alternative. So I was hesitant and definitely suspicious of any new mechanics or car expert giving me a diagnosis. And it didnt help when the initial poor communications with another Toyota team member at this location rendered me calling off work and waiting an additional two hours while also mixing up my vehicle (adding more time to my wait time). Brian took his time, was patient with me (someone whos really ignorant in car care), and was very knowledgeable and able to put things in laymans terms without the mildest irritation despite being an hour and a half past his clock out time. I appreciate his kindness, his expertise, and his overall great customer service. Will definitely pay it forward, because man is it great to be treated like a human being. I purchased a new 2021 Tacoma at Toyota West in Columbus, Ohio. My salesperson consistently didn’t know precise answers to questions I had though he was friendly and perhaps newer to the position. During the finance paperwork I wasn’t given any options regarding financial institutions and wasn’t really explained too much about what I was signing. Lastly, hours after bringing my truck home I noticed scraps on the plastic portion of the front bumper. I reached out to my salesperson hoping I could get it fixed but, instead I was accused of hitting something. I left a voicemail for a sales manager and I still haven’t received a call back (it’s been 4 days.. not counting the weekend). I love my Tacoma but being accused of hitting something and not acknowledging that it could have happened during shipment pushed me over the edge. Not very good customer service within the sales department!

I recently purchased a car from this dealership. I was somewhat hesitant to purchase a car at this time, because a car dealership is generally not the easiest place to socially distance from strangers (people are milling around everywhere and it can get quite crowded on the weekend), and the buying process can mean hanging out inside the dealership for up to four or five hours. But I saw a car online I was interested in, and, when I contacted the sales staff and explained my concerns, they indicated they could accommodate me. When I arrived at the dealership to test-drive the car, the sales representative wiped it down for me, and indicated that if I decided to purchase the car, we could either work in an empty office indoors, or outside at a picnic table where I could avoid going inside altogether. Though it was a tad chilly, I chose the latter. The whole process of the test drive, credit application, and meeting with the finance specialist to review and sign the purchase documents took about three hours. I’ve done business at other dealerships where it seemed to take forever to complete a vehicle purchase. The team at this one is the most courteous, efficient I’ve ever worked with. They didn’t waste my time playing the games dealers typically play with their customers, making this the easiest auto purchase I’ve ever experienced. I would suggest browsing their inventory online (you can also complete your credit application before you arrive at the dealership) to speed things up. I hope to do business with this dealership again. Hopefully Covid will be past us, and the fun of browsing floor models will return. But the team at Toyota West are doing what they can to make the best of a less than ideal situation.

Our brand new Toyota Sienna (with 600 miles on it) broke down on the highway in Columbus, OH on our trip from Philadelphia to Indianapolis. Toyota West was the closest dealer, so we ended up there for our service. They had a very packed schedule but they took our van in immediately to help us out. We had a van full of stuff, 3 kids, and we were stuck in a service department for hours in a city that was not in our vacation plans. The service manager, Jordan, was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgable and honest and very responsive to our questions. He personally kept me updated throughout the entire process and went out of his way to make sure our family was taken care of. I highly recommend Toyota West service!!

I purchased a 2007 FJ cruiser from this dealership. It was the WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! The sales associate said he personally drove the vehicle home and there were no mechanical issues with the vehicle. I had to go on the word of the employees of the dealership because I live in adjacent state (New York). Once I received the title in the mail and registered the vehicle the shop discovered the check engine light should have been on and that the instrumentation/dash has been tampered with. On top of that there is north of $10,000.00 worth of repairs just so it can pass inspection so I can use the vehicle. The vehicle price was only 13k so almost the price of the vehicle in repairs as soon as I try to put it on the road! I was SCAMMED/MISLEAD/DECEIVED IN THE WORST WAY. The dealership will not help in any way and I havnt made my first payment (I finacend the vehicle for 36 months) and can’t drive it/use it. I used all my savings on the vehicle already (3k for down payment, 1300.00 for taxes when I registered in NY and 600.00 to have it shipped to me). I am shocked a Toyota dealership would treat me this way. Whatever you do GO TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP. You discover the true character of a dealership when there’s a problem not when everything goes smoothly. They are terrible people. I can’t get to work and spent all my money on a vehicle that is worthless. Toyota WEST should be ashamed of themselves how wrong they have did me. Please if you read this I highly recommend you give your hard earned money to someone that won’t scam you, sell you a lemon and please go elsewhere.

Before we headed to there I asked one of my friend to check the vin. Just to make sure how many owners. He send me this picture of the report. The vehicle doesn’t have a clean title. The odometer isn’t right. Red flags at every section. This can’t be really. This is a Toyota dealer. I still can’t believe they had a vehicle that has this bad history. I just want to let you guys know to check the carfax and autocheck before you buy any vehicle even if its from a Toyota, Honda, Chevy dealer. The scammers at every corner and every business.

Took my car in to find out why the check engine light was on. When I picked it up it was scratched on 2 doors. Jordan Wilson the service manager said they would look at security tapes to see if it happened at the shop and let me know. I called in for the next 2 days and talked to him. Nothing was done. After the 2 days I have tried calling with no answer. It has been a week and no one has contacted me at all. Very bad experience. We bought 2 cars at this dealership, very disappointed this time.

Purchasing our new vehicle at Toyota West was a wonderful experience. We pulled into the pre-owned vehicle area and looked at one that caught our eye. That is when we met Ali. He arranged quickly for a test drive and we really liked it, but it had more miles than we wanted. Ali immediately showed us some similar vehicles with fewer miles we drove one of them and really liked it as well. Ali took time to show us comparative information on both vehicles and explained the Certified status of the second vehicle and resulting benefit to us. He introduced us to the General Manager (GM), who explained additional warranty options available, making the valve even greater. The GM introduced us to two of the Service Managers who described how easy it would be to bring the vehicle in for any needed work. Ali especially, but each of the others described above as well, provided their expertise and facilitated our ability to make an informed decision. Finally, we met the finance guy who additionally made the experience easy and efficient. We love our new Highlander! After some additional research, we are confident we made an excellent choice. No pressure from any of the Dealership personnel, nothing, but courtesy and informed discussion. We would recommend Toyota West to anyone! We would especially recommend the salesman Ali. He listened to us and truly guided us to making an informed and great decision.

I went to the dealership to sell a extra Toyota I am no longer driving. The sales person I dealt with was nice enough but she had to get her manager for a question and that when it all went down hill. I believe his name was Jeremy, he tried to bully us with misinformation from the second he started talking. When I looked up what he was saying and pointed out he was wrong he said quote I dont want to look at whatever you googled. I was trying to show him for the information on our states title agency website. He told us he couldnt help us and to call back on a weekday. I did actually call the title agency to verify the information in question to make sure the site and myself were right. My husband called the dealership during the week day like I was told to see if someone could help and low and behold we got to talk to Jeremy again. Jeremy proceeded to be unhelpful and then inform us that we were rude when we had been there previously and that we should go somewhere else. Never once acknowledging that he was in fact wrong and didnt know what he was doing in the first place.

Prepare to be lied to in the service department! They quoted $550, charged me over $800. They said it would take 3 hours, and then they never called or responded to my calls. I finally showed up to pick it up after 9 hours, they couldnt find my keys. Then after they found my truck, then said the part failed and it wouldnt be done until tomorrow... the customer service is terrible. Go somewhere else... this place gives good mechanic shops a bad name. I hate dishonesty.

Was looking for Toyota Corolla le to lease and came here because the manager on the phone told us they had one today, one coming tomorrow, and even more the following week. When we went in there we were told there was no more Corolla le anywhere and they wouldn’t even be able to get one from another dealership because of the shortages. Tried to sell us a 5000$ extra version of the Corolla while at the same time demeaning us for basically even thinking having what we wanted originally was an option and tried to sell us this car saying even what we wanted we wouldn’t get a lease price under 200$. After getting no where with them we left and went back to Byers Toyota, who we already trusted in the past, and they found the exact car we wanted even in the preferred color and for the exact deal we expected without even having to negotiate anything. So long story short, this dealership is not worth going to unless you like being lied to and demeaned by customer service reps.
