Long story short I got robbed out of 1500 dollars for having a car for 2 weeks I paid down 2500$ they got my due date wrong and immediately came and got the car while I was at work leaving me stranded and I had to take a Uber to go get my belongings didn’t try and work with me warn me nothing and I was going to make the payment then they then said they were only giving me back 1000 for 2 weeks so I got charged 1500 just a terrible way to do business never again.

Trying to trade in the car I bought from them about 3 years ago from Automart of Ohio and found out it was a Salvage Title. News to me. Feels like that should be some that should’ve been disclosed.You’re response is a FLAT OUT LIE. I have none of that information and the person who sold it to mentioned any of that. I’ve kept all my paperwork in the same folder, reviewed it all, and there is nothing that says anything about an inspection certificate.

Had an excellent experience buying a car at Clintonville Car Sales. I got a great car at a reasonable price, and Walid was so helpful during the entire process. Ive seen some reviewers who said that they were unaware that the car they bought was one with a rebuilt title. In my experience, they were up front and honest about that fact and assured me that they do not buy cars whose airbags deployed, that suffered flood damage or damage to the frame. I was able to take the car for a pre-purchase inspection and I was told in no uncertain terms that this is a great car. I told the mechanic the price and he said Id be crazy not to take it home with me. On top of all of that, my car came with a 30-day bumper-to-bumper warranty and a year-long warranty on the transmission and engine. I received friendly service and guidance throughout the process, including being hooked up with a solid credit union. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend these guys to any friend or family member looking for a good used car. Make sure you ask for Walid.

Please dont do it to yourself. I got a car from them and nothing but ISSUES... I bought some parts to help fix the car they told me to drop the car off. I go to pick it up in the morning and they said the parts have been stolen and someone broke into my car destroying my sunroof. My credit is great now and places like this exist for people with bad credit. They just take advantage of you. #NEVERAGAIN #YOUHAVEBEENWARNED

Here’s my Saga...I inquired about a truck online in late April, I received an auto generated email response from Sarah explaining how they inspect all their vehicles etc and they have photos of vehicle so I could see previous damage. I responded through email, plus called and left a message asking a question and to see the pix. 3 days went by, (while also leaving 2 other voice mails)... nothing.I re-inquired online, I was contacted by Justin through email. I asked about pix again. He said he knew it had been hit in the rear but did not offer the pix as requested. We went in to drive it and were very close to buying when we discovered the rear including bumper weren’t right. I looked underneath to discover they had used 4 thick washers to take up a gap between the bed and frame. (Was the frame bent? They had promised they did not deal in vehicles with frame damage) Plus the whole bumper was loose, you could rattle it easy with one hand.This was on Friday, Justin said he’d send it back to the dealer to see if they’d fix it. (He couldn’t say, cuz they were selling it for somebody else, which I still wonder how that all plays into the Warranty) He even asked about running our pre approved loan then but we decided to wait. He assured me we would “get first shot at it.” Anyway, he took my number and said he’d send the truck in and let me know Wednesday at the latest. But even with an email from me saying he was supposed to let me know something, Wednesday came and went... I heard nothing. On Thursday I called in and talked to Sarah. She said she knew the truck hadn’t left the lot but she’d have to contact Justin to see what was up. She took my number, again and promised to call me in a couple hours. I mentioned “it shouldn’t be this hard as a customer” she agreed and apologized... Never heard from her again.The next week after not hearing from anyone and remembering it hadn’t left the lot. I assumed it would not be fixed, so I made an offer planning on getting issues fixed myself. This time I did get a response saying it wasn’t sent in for repair because they were waiting for chance to work on it, but also said they were waiting to hear what the dealer would do, and “good luck in my search” - I feel like he should’ve called emailed or something to let me know what was going on. But nevertheless I said if it’s being fixed I was still interested. He responded “yes sir.”That was 5/19, today finally I emailed again to ask about it, and he responded it’s “not available” he went on to say that the washers I saw were necessary to make the bed sit right and the loose bumper and missing bolts were because they believe someone was trying to steal the bumper. -(Huh?)I had to ask “was it sold?” When he said “yes” I didn’t bother to remind him I was promised “first shot”From my experience there’s lots to be nervous about here, but more than that I felt there was lack of professionalism, and discourteous behavior.

First, let me be clear, Clintonville Auto Sales deals with many Rebuilt Salvage cars. This is not a bad thing but just know when shopping here for your car. Their collision shop next door does most of the work and as far as I can tell they do pretty good work.On to the sales experience. After talking with a few of the big name dealers in the area and getting the feeling they just wanted to sell me a car, any car, so they can collect a commission check, it was refreshing to walk into Clintonville Auto Sales.The night we walked in, Larissa V. was already busy handling multiple people with car sales but she did so with professionalism and skill. She even fit us in after hours and made us feel just as important as the people who had made appointments. After settling on a car, 2005 Toyota Corolla with low miles, she showed us the before pics and told us all thats been done. Then after calling our insurance company and finding out they didnt want to deal with a rebuilt title. Larissa and her boss told us of a few companies who do. They even said if we couldnt get insured they would refund our deposit no questions asked. In the end their info end up saving us $50 a month on our insurance bill(Thanks, guys)So if you want super low-pressure sales and great prices on great cars, check these guys out. They are definitely worth a look.

My job requires extensive driving and my car is pretty much my office on wheels. That being said, when my car finally bit the dust, I was in desperate need for something affordable, reliable, and very quickly. Good selection for a small place, but thats where the good stops. All cars have rebuilt or salvage titles and they will not come down on prices one bit so dont expect any haggling. Salespeople werent unpleasant, but they definitely werent going to go out of their way to be helpful and didnt seem to care if they made a sale or not. I came cash in hand and walked right out. Someone else can make commission off my purchase!

Great place to go had my car almost 2 years. A few minor suspension issues at first that were fixed shortly after being diagnosed no further issues so far. You will have a limit on what company you can use for car insurance.

On my third vehicle from this dealership and as always I am very satisfied. Ive never had to exercise my warranty option before the Infiniti, but this time my CHECK ENGINE light came on. It was diagnosed as a canister or whatever, they got me right in and figured it out and fixed it once the part came in, at no cost even though I was 5 days over my warranty period. No pressure and no BS, this place is awesome!

They will tell you they will fix repairs before buying a vehicle, document it in the agreement and then return your car with the same issue. Also your car will start to reveal more an more covered damages. For the amount they want for down payments, if you can...take your money elsewhere. This place is not worth anyones time or money. No need for the owner to respond to my complaint, Im just glad I dont have to deal with this company anymore. Im sure they will deny all I said, but all the negative reviews basically have the same issue with this company. I found a cute little Honda here that I was dying for; good condition and a great price. The first question I asked was about the past owners, accidents, etc.. He pulled up a database and explained that it was in a minor front end collision and all that needed replaced was the front bumper and headlights, he then went on to say that they do not work with totaled vehicles. I was thrilled, so I bought the car. When I left with the car it desperately needed an alignment so I went to a local mechanic and he told me the tie rods and lower control arms were all broken along with the rotors, ball joints, and brakes. The car was completely unsafe to drive. I called Clintonville and they helped, explained I would have to pay for parts but they would do the labor; seemed fair enough to me. When I finally got the car back in my possession I took it to the bmv to get it registered. The young lady pointed out that I had a salvage/rebuilt title and that the car had been totaled when the dealership received it. Needless to say I was furious. I know they tried to make it right, but overall, new tie rods dont make up for a big lie and a totaled car.

I contacted Clintonville Car Sales and they just asked me to bring it in and they fixed my car, a $300 fix, for free! No questions asked. Good selection of cars, I bought a honda civic. The air mode wouldnt change from face to feet to windshield, it was under warranty so they told me take it to there body shop and so I did, they fixed it no problem. So far so good

The worst customer service ever. I had my car serviced and was told they would would not touch it until I received a quote. I got a quote of $500, but when I went to pick up my vehicle I was asked to pay $685. I had to ask for a receipt and found that had additionally repaired another part without my knowledge. Justin asked if I wanted them to take the part off facetiously. After selling the vehicle and obtaining a new car, Justin agreed to a pay off and then took money out of my account. When I asked him about it he called me out of my name. This dealer had no problem when my payment was made on time, but once I started questioning them I was disrespected by Justin. I have called to speak with the owner with no call back. Ive since reported them to BBB. I would never refer anyone to this dealer.

Before I went on my test drive, Shawn, the salesman, told me I could take it to a mechanic of my choice and take my time. Im glad I did as it needed new engine mounts. When I came back, Shawn offered to do the work for free and give me a full tank of gas before purchasing the vehicle. On top of it all, I got a ONE YEAR warranty covering the engine and transmission for no extra charge! I definitely recommend this business because they really care about customer service.

They did everything they could to give us a fair price on our trade-in vehicle and even gave us a free warranty on our 2009 CRV!!Their expertise and professionalism is second to none and I am happy to refer any of my friends and family to this establishment. They sold me a salvaged car without telling me... All they mentioned was hail damage. This was the worst of their offenses.I had to bring back the car immediately (less than a month later) to fix some issue, dont remember what, and they told me I needed a passenger airbag and I had to take it to a Kia dealership to get it fixed.The lady was rude and forced me into $100 monthly payments when I didnt really have the budget for it. Probably because they wanted to get me to hurry to pay for the car before it took a dump.They never gave me my gas card for a good review I gave them prior (ignorantly... This is probably the only reason they have some good reviews).3 years after owning the car and I have a host of problems according to two different mechanics: vcm actuator, solenoid of some sort, alternator, and AC compressor.Put 3 new tires on recently and the tire place said the tires were awful. I had a hydroplaning accident.I dont trust ANYONE with cars now... Period.

Paid $6000 2004 Honda Civic with a salvaged title that I wasnt told about. Tires had to be replaced. Now I find I need a new catalytic converter that will cost $1200 to $1600. Which I cant afford. Caveat emptor.

Buyer Beware!!! I got a 2012 honda civic from them it had 97000 miles when i first bought it. I was told it was a rebuilt that only had some body damage. After looking into the vin turn out the car smacked into a wall and had disabling damage. It drove good for about 7 months, now i have a car from hell. I have not had any major work done on this car besides a oil change. My serpentine belt was running thin and when i had the car looked at there was rope tied from the pullie to a mound underneath as to keep it held tight. Called the dealership and they wont claim responsibility. And a few days ago we noticed there is a serious wiring problem with the car. Now when i turn my lights on the car streaks loud as hell. My alternator is going bad, the battery is running too much power to the lights and my right headlight has blown twice in one month. And just last night my car wont even turn on the lights just flicker when i try. DO NOT GO THERE!!! Oh an a heads up your “warranty” is 30 days bumper to bumper then you have 90 days for engine and transmission. Not to mention the last time i try to talk to them about the rope situation they got rude as hell with me and hung up the phone. Dont waste your time or money.

Dont let the cars or the easy process fool you! Make sure you read the contract! Great place to go if you want to get ripped off with the interest rate! I bought a 06 Nissan Sentra turned out to be on a (REBUILT TITLE) from there, a few days into having the car the engine light came on, took to them to see what was wrong and all they did was reset the light after numerous times of it coming on. Had to take it to a real mechanic to find out I had a controlled systems leak. I ended up trading it in just to get out of the contract that you sign there. When I went to trade it in at ricart, the car salesman did the math and literally told me of the $45 dollars that you pay them weekly, only $7 was going towards the car and the rest was interest. So when your looking at the inventory and see the cars with $30-75 weekly payments OR ANY CAR THERE PERIOD chances are your going to pay 25 to 30% more than asking price in the long run for cars with warrantees that arent worth it. When ever I would make a payment on my car in cash, I would ask them how much of it was going towards the car, they could never give me a direct answer or when I was ahead on payments and wanted to make an additional payment, there was a guy there who would always make it apparent that I was ahead on my payments as if he didnt want me to make one. The cars arent that bad of shape in fact theyre pretty good but my advice if you want to get more for your money, and be efficient with your money, I wouldnt recommend this place unless you buy out the car with cash if you can trust the window price......witch I wouldnt.

Bought a honda here 2 years ago with 165k miles. Radiator broke within a month and other things needed to be replaced almost monthly. Ive still kept the car as it has 211k miles now. Be wary and know that almost any car you buy from here will need work done.

I seem to have a lot of Honda Civics that they get post-collision, repair and then sell. I was on the lot for 15 minutes and no one came to talk to me. Thats good for some people and annoying for others. Prices seem a bit high for repaired cars.

Great communication between the dealer and customers, tells you all accident and car information and lets you test drive it. Has great deals and the best Honda Civics for a good price!!
