I have the Rockford-Fosgate system on my Harley, one of the speaker grills flew off somewhere while I was riding. I went to Rockfords website and could not find a way to order a new one. Kar Tunes was listed as a Rockford dealer, so I stopped in. They were super helpful, ordered me a replacement and the price was better than expected! I will definitely come back for all my car audio needs!

I just called to get information and was very disappointed with the assistance provided. I was cut off and told that they only have one stereo replacement option for all vehicle types. When questioned, she stated that they didn’t need to to know my car type/model/year or even care to listen to what I was looking for. I had heard good things in the past, but this call was very disappointing, I guess they aren’t hurting for business now.

I thought I would love this place considering they are the only ones that actually figured out what was wrong with me truck, however trying to get the claim done is absolutely insane. They won’t reach out to the insurance after saying they have. I personally sat on the phone with the insurance while they called Kartunes and they put them on hold for 10 mins at that point we had to disconnect. So much unprofessionalism while just trying to get an update. Eventually he tells us he doesn’t even want to do my claim and to come get my refund. Maybe it was the color of our skin idk but that wasted over a month of my time and I can’t get it back. Just be upfront and honest.

I dont give them any stars. I didnt tell Automotive Services they could tow my car there, and theyve had it three months. Automotive Services has had my car since November. I cant get Automotive Services to fix, or give my car back. I called Kar Tune to find out the status of my car, and they told me Automotive Services is their customer, not me. They blocked my car so I cant get it towed. Im pretty sure they and Automotive Services is doing something shady. I paid Automotive Services $2,000 in November, and they havent repaired my car. Theyre hiding it from me. Its a hardtop convertible BMW, and I think they plan to say I abandoned my car, and try to sell it. My car insurance company has now taken a theft report, as this meets the legal definition of car theft.

Terrible Customer service. They are trying to do too much and dont care how they treat their customers. They do not return phone calls and basically dont care. The receptionist is lazy. I wouldnt let them install a system in a Tyco/ Mattel car much less a respectable vehicle. They took my deposit for a custom box that took 2 months to come in. After calling them for several weeks. Come to find out the box was in there shop. I called for 2 more weeks and was told that their tech hasnt had time to open the boxes to see if it was my box or another customers. Finally I went up there and demanded that they open the damn box. Come to find out the ordered the wrong one. A waste of lots of time and energy.

I needed some help installing the LED headlights for my new housing and they were able to wire the two lights together and put them in the housing. Great customer service, fair price and timely manner. Will return if the need arises.

Customer service is horrible. I waited 5 minutes at the front desk before I rang the bell on the counter. When someone finally came she was rude and very unprofessional. I ended up dropping my car off there to get some speakers replaced. It turned out that I never had speakers where I though they should be. So they called me and told me my warranty won’t cover that. Which is understandable. I went to go pick up my car and they said my balance was $50. I asked what the charge was for and they said ”diagnostics”. I don’t know about most people, but I don’t want to pay for a service that was never done. They didn’t even tell me up front that there would be a charge for this. I would NOT advise anyone to use their services. In my experience when a place “nickel and dimes” you And has bad customer service, they are not very trustworthy.

Brought my 79 Vette to these guys for electrical issues. They bent over backwards to fix it. Definitely would recommend them to others.

This establishment has very poor customer service. The staff and management are both quite disorganized and disrespectful to my wife. I had some overpriced work done only to find out they gave my brand new car worst a scratch. When I picked my car up it smelled like smoke. I recommend going elsewhere.

They help recommend based off what build your trying to get. And they will work with you until some shops. Girl behind counter wasnt rude but she wasnt friendly. I had something for them to just glance at and give me a price. They said the earliest they could get me in was 3 days later with an appointment. Anyway I went to custom radio and those guys took care of me. I just wasnt impressed at all with Kar tunes

Outstanding service and support. I had a Sony Bluetooth Audio system installed in my MB 300SDL. The work was extremely well done. I had a follow-up visit because I was unfamiliar with some of the system features and the technician was very patient in explaining and helping me get things figured out. This place was recommended to me for a sound system. The prices appeared to be great and customer service was excellent. Dropped my truck off for the audio system and ended up getting my water pump and fuel filter replaced at the same time. Awesome service and Id recommend to anyone. Will be returning for all future audio things and vehicle maintenance.

I was called to make a payment with my debit card at this establishment. When i arrived my debit card was taken to the back of the store for 10 minutes out of my sight. When i ask where the card is the salesman gets aggressively upset and comes back and states heres your damn card i dont need it. This establishment wasted my time and treated me unprofessional. Definitely will not use or recommend this place for anything.

These Crooks that work for k a r t u n e s car stereo overcharge my husband $960 for work they didnt do on my 1990 Ford F150 I had already had a fuel pump changed in the truck one month prior before they sit in their shop and the car was still not starting after it left their shop and they told me that I would need to pay more money to have more work done to it even though they didnt fix first problem which was fixing the truck so it will start. When I initially brought the truck to them they didnt work on my truck for a whole month my truck just said in the shop and I will call them every week and they would come up with a dumb excuse when I asked him why are they not working on my truck they would say something like its raining outside and due to the weather thats prohibiting them from working on my truck which I know is a lie because they work inside of a shop and rain has nothing to do with them not working on my truck for a whole month. After a whole month of them not working on my truck it took them a whole month for them to tell me did they replace my fuel pump which was already replaced in my vehicle and they claiming they did something with my wires to get my truck running but thats a lie as well and they told me that I had to pick up my truck even though it wasnt fixed or pay more money and that they were going to put a lien on my vehicle if I didnt pick it up and charge me storage fees so I rushed from Montgomery to pick up my truck and they told me that my truck was fixed over the phone but they told me that I still had to spray starting fluid in it to get it to crank thats when I knows that I was tricked out of $960. I confronted them about why did they make me pay $960 and my truck is not being fixed and they told me that it was starting up perfectly when I called them but now its not I told them to their face they are a bunch of liars and I will be taking them to court. If this company screws you to make sure you take them to civil court as well and get your money back

If I could rate this business lower, I would. Im a over 60, retired female veteran. I take meticulous care with & of my vehicle. My windshield wipers were operating sporadically & my usual mechanic admitted to not being able to diagnose the problem. He suggested I try KT. I went directly to the shop & waited in the parking lot 45 min. for them to open. When they did, I explained why I was there. They took down basic info, got my valet key and instructed me to have a seat. At 12:30 pm, I went to the desk to inquire why it was taking so long. I was the first of only 2 people to even enter the premises in 3 hours ! An extremely rude man told me that things like this cant be timed. I then asked for my key as I did not desire their services. He explained to me that they charge $80/hr. whether they finish or not !! I told him that there was NO WAY I would be paying $240 dollars to sit in their waiting room while my blood sugar dipped. I said I would call 911 and WTVM news if he didnt return my key to me. He continued to threaten me for a bit before relenting. I have never in my military or civilian life been treated so badly. These people dont care about anything but the dollar sign. Stay away at all cost. I wouldnt go back to Kar Tunes even if they gave me lifetime free service and gas.

I wish zero stars were an option. Extremely disatisfied with the customer service from Bart Steed Kartunes. I made an appointment three weeks out for 0900 on a tuesday.. I live an hour and a half away so i had to walk around till the work was done. He told me it would be done mid afternoon. I returned after 5 1/2 hours. The work had not even been started. He said he just got the part and he still did not have all the parts required which he did not tell me in the morning. Again i set this up 3 weeks prior. Then he said it would take another day and a half to complete. His record keeping is inadequete because he has no set process. He blamed the error on whoever took the appointment. He never checked the records of the appt to see what was required. Customers that came after me were taken care of before even though i set an appointment for 0900. He stated that he sets all of his appointments for 0900. Which is bad business practice. This business claims 39 years of great service but i believe it must have been managed by somebody else because this guy may only be 39 years old very dismissive and sarcastic. I will not use this company ever again and I will encourage other to take thier business elsewhere.

Truly disappointed in the service I received. I brought in a Kenwood Excelon I purchased from Crutchfield to be installed, since they are authorized carriers for Kenwood. They installed it, however, I guess I was expecting more from a carrier of Kenwood. The first thing I noticed is they did not update the clock/time on the unit. They also did NO settings updates, meaning they just installed it, but did no adjustments to clarity of sound, music, speakers, etc. Not sure if they had a problem because I brought in my own radio instead of buying from them, or they basically are uneducated with sound quality. Search elsewhere folks.

John Bart steed is a crooked thief and a liar and so is his employees they deceived me into bringing my car and truck to the shop claiming that they were going to fix both vehicles but instead they deceive me out of $950 and didnt do one thing to my vehicles that I didnt already do to it myself. I had my truck and car inside of the shop and they would make all kind of excuses not to work on my vehicles like for instance whenever it rained I asked Bart are they going to be starting on my vehicle soon and they told me due to the weather they were not going to be able to work on my vehicle and I was clueless because they work in a shop in the rain should not affect them at all. I had already paid three hundred bucks to have my fuel pump installed into my truck before charges for a fuel pump and labor he never does to my vehicle.during the time they had both my vehicles in their shop I wasnt able to get to work and other places I needed to go.I explained that to Bart and he showed no sympathy and told me that I can tow my vehicle off his lot.i told him I already paid a tow bill to be there both of my vehicles to his lot which costs almost $260.Becareful when dealing with these crooks because they changed the prices on me and will do the same to you they would tell me $132 an hour switch back and forth to $90 an hour.Im missing a duralast ratchet set that I bought from AutoZone and 36 in flat top screw driver. Before I left from k a r t u n e s I ask where my old fuel pump was because its a brand new fuel pump and they told me they had thre my brand new fuel away.word of advice dont put these crooks and thieves and liars do any kind of work on your vehicle dont even go here save yourself the grief headaches and money just go somewhere else

Had a pioneer installed and charged me $150 on top of the install for a harness. Ok thats normal, but it turns out it was a cheap off brand harness that stops working when you disconnect the battery!! So my unit doesnt turn off period and its not putting out sound to the speakers. You have to take out the whole unit to reset it. Went to a better place in Houston and now Im paying half the price for the name brand harness that works correctly.

This business is outstanding. They are a stand up group of people that place the customer first. There was no upsale and they could have burned me if they wanted. They are upstanding, honest people that take care of their customers. All of my future automotive business will be done with them and I will also be sending friends and family to Kar Tunes as well.After three hours at a firestone trying to identify an electrical issue I was told my PCM was bad. The firestone gave me a card to Kar Tunes so I could get my PCM reflashed. After a phone call with Kar Tunes and in spite of them being extremely busy they squeezed me in for them to look at my car. Once there I was treated very well and they even humored my ramblings trying to explain the issue. After 5 mins of looking at the car they were able to identify the actual problem and resolve it on the spot for no charge. Its rare to find anyone let alone a business that takes care of people like this.Highly recommended!

Hated it. We take pride in our Mazda 3. Had a high dollar head unit installed & we cannot pick up any AM stations, or any of the previous FM stations we got crystal clear before even having the head unit installed. Every time we turn the car on there is a loud pop that we had them look at it, they fixed it for a couple days but the loud popping is back. All they want is your money....

Employees have no customer relation skills what so ever, which to me matters the most when you run a business. An error was made on their part and then were unwilling to resolve the issue. Terrible business.
