Love to place and all the friendly people who work there. Didnt realize they were trying to close and was taking my time looking at all the awesome grills they have on sale right now, and not one employee tried rushing us! Just checked is out with warm smiles and friendly good byes. I recommend this store highly just for the customer experience!!

I love this store!!! A one-stop shop for All your plants/gardening and outdoor needs, and very fairly priced also!!! Very pretty filler plants, fruit and veggies, and gorgeous trees and bushes! We definitely make Weekend trips, all spring and summer! (And even a few in the fall)

Went In needing assistance finding an item so I went up to the service desk and and I notice the lady sees me coming and she turns around and walks away.I asked someone else and I noticed she turns right back around listening to my conversation.so after being assisted I went to check on the item but they didn’t have the quantity I needed so I went back to the service desk to see if they carry more.as I was coming towards the service desk I noticed the same lady doing the same thing by turning around and walking away then circling back around listening to my conversation..again. I don’t think she realizes all she’s hurting is the business and herself.everyone knows discrimination is an inferior complex 🤔.I know a miserable person when I see one.the place itself is outdated and having a miserable employee only adds to the misery.Just to be clear there were two ladies and one had a cap on.it was the one without the cap.that was the first time I’ve been in there and for sure will be the last time.l’ve always driven by Sutherlands and there is something about this place that makes me not want to stop by and now I can see why. went to Lowe’s found what I needed and more.I even had an employee ask me if I was ok even after finding evrything I needed.service is incomparable.

The expert staff were helpful and knowledgeable about our project and even assisted in drawing out our design to ensure we had all the components to complete.

The staff was super friendly and they had a decent selection. Pricing was competitive with the big orange and blue. Unfortunately they didnt have what I was looking for so maybe call ahead if out of the way.

Sutherlands is a nice lumber company or home improvement store. Many times I come here because they will have things that home Depot and lowes does not. They definitely have a better selection of lumber.

Great hardware store with good prices, service, and selection. I typically get most of my hardware needs from this store, as well as spring plants and garden dirt. I would definitely recommend sutherlands over the bigger chain stores.

Staff and selection are always great. Same prices and products as the big box hardware stores only no lines and a personal experience. Ive yet to meet someone rude that works there, and I browse the isles once a week looking for project ideas to tackle. The ladies at the checkout counters are always smiling and joking. Even if Im doing a plumbing job and walking in for the 3rd time of the day I leave laughing.

Best flower and vegetable prices in town. Its not in the big shopping centers, but it is well worth going the couple extra miles. I have been going there for years.

Waited 10 minutes to get help. They send this kid and obviously due to his age and experience he couldnt help me. Waited 10 more minutes at the billing and she doesnt know the prices and she want me to go get prices for her. This happened to me in the past and my friends had the same issue. If they want local businesses to grow they should hire people who know what they are doing. Worst experience with Sutherlands as always. No tcoming back. Hope they read this.

There is a good mix of customer service reps here at Sutherlands in terms of age ranges. Which came in handy yesterday. I needed special small appliance screws for a game console, and I had no idea what to look for because there are many choices and I didnt know where to begin. I asked an older gentleman who gave me a generic answer (go to isle 4), whereas the younger men knew what I needed and exactly where to look. Ultimately, the store did not have the item, but I was told where it was sold. I think the staff at Sutherlands had a lot of integrity and did their best, so I will be bringing my business back to this store.

Excellent Customer Service!!! Went there yesterday in to buy parts for outside drainage. I was rushing!! Anyways I went back tonight to take a few things back and purchase more. The salesman told me I was over charged yesterday and the refund covered the additional items. I thought it was pretty great that the salesman was looking out for me the customer.

I had been driving by Sutherlands for quite some time now, and never stopped in. Today I finally stopped in, and was amazed by the amount of items they keep in stock! Its my new favorite hardware store!

Sutherlands does not care about its custoners. Not one single employee was wearing a mask while on the floor mingling with customers. Im reporting them to the Dept. of Health for endangering customers. Also, while waiting for my ride, I had to ask two of their employees to please watch their language because they were continously dropping the F bomb, while sitting at the front entrance. The service desk staff were so busy having a personal conversation between themselves didnt even rebag my item or thank me for my purchase. I will never shop at Sutherlands again and neither will my husband!

I went to Sutherlands for the first time today to get another gallon of some Dutch Boy paint, and I didnt want to drive all the way to Menards to get it. I also needed some custom mixed paint. I was waiting at the paint counter while one of their employees, his shirt said Steve on it, was helping another customer. Instead of coming over to me when he was done, he went over to their service counter area. After a few minutes I went over to the service counter, and asked if anyone who works there could mix up some paint for me. Still being ignored by Steve, someone got someone else to come mix the paint for me. The guy who did it was very helpful, and I got exactly what I needed.Despite the poor customer service, especially on the part of Steve, I will likely go back there. Its close to my house, and a fairly small store that still has whats needed in the way of hardware.

The management personnel act like know-it-alls. I dont like being talked down to by guys with a 10th grade education. It is super annoying to have to listen to idiots while pretending as though I am interested in their worldly experience. I care more about friendly and clean. I prefer Home Depot and Lowes. I wont be back.

I really wanted to like this store. I heard about their price matching, and with them being 1 minute away from where I live the convenience was awesome.Just the other day I went to Sutherlands to buy about 50 pieces of wood. I needed about 30 pieces of 2x2 lumber. I found it at a price of $1.87 online. One thing I didnt realize is that it was $1.65 at Sutherlands. A customer service rep rung me up at the higher price.Later I realized that they over charged me so I returned to the store. When confronting one of the customer service reps about the issue this was his response..The guy that rung you up said you wanted to price match at $1.87 so he rung you up at that price.I said So he knew I priced a higher amount and he just went with it? The not so friendly customer service rep said yes. I said Im a customer right? And he said yes. I then asked him if this is the way they treat all of their customers. He said no. Then proceeded to refund me the difference without even apologizing.If Sutherlands had good customer service, they would have initially stopped me in my tracks and saved me money before even leaving the store the first time. I remember seeing this particular Sutherlands worker grinning as I left. Now I know why.I will never step foot in this place again. If we truly are customers we should be treated like customers. Customer Service is going out of your way to maintain customers so that they return and remain loyal. It was very shady what they did to me. And if they will treat me this way, they will treat you the same. I bet when this particular Customer Service rep made the genius decision to to treat me like this, he didnt realize that us Customers have a voice. And Ill bet that he will regret his actions after reading this and answering to the Sutherlands owners. Reviews last forever, and so do reputations.

I live in a mobile home & i also work 3rd shift. Yesterday i woke up to my wife informing me that our water had frozen. I came to Sutherlands & bought a 38,000 btu propane heater. I took it home & got it together but couldnt get it to light.... I brought it back to see if maybe i was doing something wrong. An employee named Jason helped me get it lit by adjusting the ignighter that was too far away to spark. I took it home thinking it was fixed only to find out that i still couldnt get it to start. They close at 7pm but when i called at 6:55pm letting then know i was still having trouble Jason was so nice & helpful. He told me that he would wait on me... He did get it to start after a couple mins but it clearly wasnt working right so he went to the back & got another one & not only exchanged it for me he helped me get it working there to make sure i was happy with my purchase... Lowes or Home depot wouldnt stay open late for me much less help me get it going.... I will think about this every time i need some building supplies. .. Thanks Jason...

Had what I needed in and out in about 5 minutes. Went to Home depot first but they couldnt locate item I needed its seasonal yeah okay.
