Good service & always seem to have what I need

Linworth Lumber had the last 7 boards we needed to finally finish our nightmare process of building my dads deck. $50 delivery but they said theyd deliver the next day. They never showed and bu the time we were home to see they hadnt delivered, they were 10 minutes from closing. For the weekend. My husband took off Saturday to finish the deck, so we tried to call 5 minutes before close, but they wouldnt answer. I saw they have a FB page and messaged them on there, hoping theyd respond that way since it was their error, not like a new inquiry or question that could be googled to find the answer. I was encouraged when I saw they saw the messages, that they were sorting out what happened and would respond. They never did. Read all 4 messages, very soon after sending them, and never had the decency to respond. So, my husband called off Monday and we called first thing Monday morning. Turns out they delivered it to the wrong address. Right street, but to an address that wasnt even close that the numbers couldve been transposed or anything. My 70-year-old dad, recovering from cancer, found the house to which theyd been delivered and called them back. They said theyd be there in half an hour. They werent. They did come, though, with the wood finally. They also read and didnt respond to my request for a refund of their $50 delivery fee they completely botched and cost my husband two days off work since they werent even professional enough to respond to what was obviously a valid concern from a [new] customer.

Fabulous service great people will never go anywhere else for that kind of stuff no chance on the big box

This is the first review I’ve ever written. Ever. And it’s because I really can’t say I’ve had a better experience purchasing a high-ticket item than I did with Linworth Lumber. Great employees make all the difference.After months of looking for a new front door and sidelights I realized we’d need to go custom for what I wanted. We had several contractors over, all claiming different issues about sizing, leaving us uncertain and distrustful. When I finally contacted Linworth Lumber I had great hope after speaking with Jim Timlin that this was the right place. Finally, after almost 9 months of looking, the door was finally purchased, ordered and installed! However, when the door arrived I immediately realized the frame I thought I was getting was not the frame I got. When I called Linworth and spoke to Donna Dyll, she quickly put me at ease and said she and the General Manager, David Moore, would be over to check the issue. Within a few days they were here and unhesitatingly ordered us a new frame. When it arrived at the store, because it needed to be stained and we were now in autumn, we would have to wait for warmer weather. All through the winter, Donna called me every few weeks to let us know they were just waiting for us to say the word until they could come. I’ve rarely had a company check on me rather than me doing the calling and checking. Donna, David, and Tom Schaller did everything they could to let us know that getting the frame switched out was as important to them as it was to us. They went beyond what now passes as courteous and mindful. They were simply great!

Want to give a shout out to these guys we had a fence going on a saturday and we called in on a thursday to get delivery on friday. At first they were booked but they managed to squeeze us in on friday. Thanks again guys.

I am still waiting for the reply for replacement Anderson window quote. The service man (as I dont want to mention his name and cause him in trouble.) came to my house two weeks ago and said will send me email with the estimate quotation. I havent receive or heard from him at all. Called him last week and he said will follow up, and up to today and I still cant hear anything. Two weeks gone by no new and no reply. It used to very good service in the past. I had replaced my windows by you guys for the past years and always with good services. I dont know what had happened this time. Instead giving you a 5 stars in the past, I will give you only 2 stars until your services get some improvement.

A joke of a staff. Lowes or Home Depot are superior options.

I almost bought my deck materials from Home Depot or Menards, but I ended up looking up Linworth and stopped in. Now this is the only place Ill ever use.The staff was incredibly helpful and patient, worked with me for over an hour getting my materials list straight. Delivery was cheap, and it was raining that day, so I was pleasantly surprised to find my bags of concrete and cedar completely wrapped and on a skid to keep the water out. Not sure if this was intentional on their part or not, but it was even stacked in the order that I need it! Absolutely fantastic, much better than a big box store.

Based upon my own experience, I would suggest you buy from someone else, anyone else. This is the worse lumber company in Columbus.
