This was my first place to look for dresses and they are phenomenal. You are the only person with an appointment so it’s focused on you and your vision! They really listen to you about your budget, desires, and dislikes. They are also SO compassionate and make you feel special. Plus, why not try and support a small business? Recommend 1000%!Also, I’m a plus size bride and they had a great selection of different types of gowns for me to try.

I called a few weeks prior to going into my appointment asking if they had a good variety of plus size gowns and was told yes but when I arrived the day of my appointment there were only 2 that would ever go on my body and neither I like just looking at then. They owner kept trying to pressure me into a fitted gown after I told her I dont like them because it makes me uncomfortable. I ended up getting my dress elsewhere.

Absolutely incredible, lovely place. I had the best time here trying on wedding dresses. The dresses are so beautiful and they have a really nice range of sizes, including plus size! I loved my experience here and I would reccomend everyone to come here and look for their dress!

Had the best experience at Uptown Gowns!! Gotta thank the whole team (especially Sarah 🥰) for making everything so easy and so special. As soon as I got to my appointment, I walked in to a cute sign that said “welcome Allison!” and immediately felt at home. I was honestly kinda worried Id never find my dress just because I’ve always worked in bridal so I always thought I’d have trouble feeling like the dress I picked was my own...Well I had no trouble here, we walked around and saw so many beautiful dresses and so I tried on a couple but as soon as I put MY dress on, I knew she was the one and Sarah helped me find the veil and sash to match. It was so easy, so perfect, so fun and light. I absolutely would recommend Uptown Gowns to anyone trying to find their “bridal moment” and the perfect dress with the best people ❤️

This was the second dress stop that I stopped in for wedding dress shopping. The first store was out of town so this was my first experience dress shopping in my beloved city of Columbus. Their selection was wonderful. Their staff are outstanding and know every detail about the designers, fit, fabric, etc. The store itself has a wonderful location. It is clean and organized and isnt overwhelming upon first site as you walk in. I not only found my dress at this amazing shop, but it was a discontinued dress that was offered at a discounted price, making it fall within my tight budget constraints. Lastly, I love that I found my dress at a small business store. I love shopping at small/local businesses so it really worked out that I found my dress here! Do yourself a favor and make an appointment to dress shop with the best, Uptown Gowns!

This was the absolute best experience! The service is amazing. My sister is getting married, and this experience was fun, genuine, professional, and competent! We didnt feel pressured at all. The attendant took us on a journey, and when we reached the destination of selecting a gown, we were more than pleased! I recommend this bridal shop to any, and everyone!!

Phenomenal experience with these girls! I was so hesitant to try on dresses at a non chain store- BUT LET me tell you! The service I received here was amazing and these girls knew my body type and wowed me with their suggestions! I didnt feel like a true bride until Sarah put me in the perfect gown- that by the way, was way less than similar style gowns at other stores! These girls are amazing and know their dresses!

Uptown Gowns is everything they say they are...God-focused, bride-centered, anything-but-pushy, down-to-earth, lovely women. My appointment time was mine, and Sarah was focused on me without distraction and without hovering. Shes found the perfect balance of service without selfishness. And because she knows her inventory so well, she was able to suggest a dress that was THE ONE and styled it with the ideal accessories. After only an hour, because there were no double bookings, she was able to nail my personality in the perfect dress and veil for me. These sisters have a vision and a mission for their business, and its beautiful to see!

I dont even know where to start! From the moment I called to schedule the appointment to the moment we left the store, we all felt loved and like the girls truly cared about helping me find my perfect dress! They schedule appointments one at a time, so our party was the main focus for our hour and a half time slot. And they had plenty of seats for my large party! That made me feel so special! Hannah, the consultant that helped me was so sweet! And she knew everything about every dress I tried on! She went above and beyond to make sure I could see what the dress would look like on my body after alterations. After trying on a handful of dresses that I chose, Hannah brought one back and asked me to try it just to see. Sure enough, that was the one!!! She took the time to listen to what I wanted and found the perfect dress for me! I would recommend any bride within a 300 mile radius to consider going to see them! (We drove from Huntsville, AL) You will not regret it! My whole party was raving about the way we were treated and how special they made the whole experience!

These ladies are very sweet and genuine! They truly have a heart to serve you as you prepare for your wedding day. I felt so refreshed and loved after every visit. I also really appreciate their pricing and sales compared to other boutiques. If you are looking for a bridal shop, do not go anywhere else!

Hannah and the team at Uptown Gowns are absolutely amazing. They have a gorgeous selection of gowns, jewels and other accessories. Hannah goes above and beyond to make sure every bride leaves with the perfect dress. Ive collaborated on a few photography projects with Uptown Gowns, and they are always so eager to work with me and my brides / models. The first time I went in, they made me feel so welcome, like I was an old friend, and thats how I see them treat everybody that comes into the store. I am so glad I stumbled upon this shop. Every single time I went in I was greeted with a super friendly face. I am a self conscious person and these ladies made me feel beautiful when I was just trying on dresses. They also aren’t going to say “Omgosh that’s the one” every time you try a dress on just to get you to buy. They are so so patient and just the sweetest people. Before finding the perfect dress, I looked in Atlanta, Savannah, and Macon.. really everywhere. Not only are these dresses incredible, and unique, but they are incredibly priced for luxury gowns. I found my perfect dress, a Sophia Tolli, but there were so many amazing dresses that I would have easily had the wedding day of my dreams in so many other gowns. Dont settle with your wedding dress. At Uptown Gowns my biggest complaint was choosing between so many beautiful pieces... I even found perfect shoes. The owner and her family made the entire experience perfect and I am thankful Columbus finally has an incredible bridal shop. So overdue!

Not at all what I expected after looking at their website; very few options for brides maids & formal gowns. I didnt look at their wedding gowns, but at a glance they didnt seem to have very many to choose from.
