Completely unexpected experience. Wanted to find a black owned bookstore and found this one. Went to the location on google maps and realized they’d moved. Found the new address but it was in a residential house. Called the number to be sure and we’re told to go to the back. Park in the driveway and the co-owner begins questioning why we were there, that she didn’t know us, and arguing that she was not called, as if it was our fault her husband instructed us to go in. She then asked what we were doing there, we said to buy books. She said, come on then, but the energy was so negative, we just left. Went over to Umajaa and spent $645 on amazing books and products. So sad we couldn’t endorse this business.

I love this store. The owners are an awesome couple. Very helpful. They had several books on African Spiritualism I couldnt find anywhere else. They also had a good selection of business, self development and non fiction books. Very good vibes.

This man lied to me on the phone today about shea butter and doing business in the future. He the owner is a COON for lying to me within a matter of 4 minutes phone conversation I had to just hang up because he was lying so bad.
