A great space: part bookstore, part publisher, part restaurant, part bar, part hangout. It tries to be many places at once and succeeds. Food is excellent as is the service. I love visiting.
Visited for the first time recently and had a fantastic experience! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. It was so pleasant to wander a bit and explore the books and art while we waited for our food. They also took our concerns about allergens very seriously, which always makes dining experiences better.
Probably my favorite place in town. What an interesting concept. 10/10 farmhouse Tofu crunch wrap. Ice coffee is good. Mostly the people who work here are incredibly nice and do a great job. They also have vegan pastries from a local bakery.
Food is incredible, drinks tasty, staff are very friendly, and the ambiance is perfect to get some work done
Book shop meets vegan cafe. The food is amazing and they have a wide variety that my mom vegan friends also really enjoy. They have vegan pulled pork, french toast,ac and cheese... And baked goods too! They also sell some alcohol. The books are phenomenal and unique. They even have mystery book bundles that are themed. They have taken the time to mark some of their fav books with little blocks saying what they are about. Overall a very quirky adorable place for foodies and book lovers to enjoy.
Two Dollar has amazing food and you’ll find the kindest people that work there. The books, food and kindness make this a gem in Columbus.
Very inviting atmosphere. The employees were super friendly and helpful. The book selection is a little smaller than a lot of places, but well cultivated
My favorite vegan eats in the city. Staff/owners are the best. Pick up their new cookbook and a lavender latte! Great place to meet a friend, grab a brunch or just browse the book shop and get a drink.
Charming neighborhood progressive bookstore and vegan cafe. Excellent food and great service... unique. Try it!
Love coming here. Awesome books and they don’t bug you while you’re browsing.
The menu, the food, the atmosphere, the book selection, all delicious and truly was better than I was expecting...The portion sizes are perfect, they will not leave you lacking, but also are not overwhelming. My wife and I will be back for more, surely.
Bold, delicious flavors. Rather interesting book selection. Recommended to me so many times, and each one was justified.
Great food! Thoughtful print collection.
Great food and amazing customer service. The gentleman working was so nice and more than happy to take time to suggest options we may like. Cool book selection too.
I love visiting 2 dolla! The food is always AMAZING! Good vibes from the people and the atmosphere. Great local bookstore with a range of titles to choose from! Rarely busy and always fast!
LOVED the first thing I tried here and cannot wait to try the rest of the menu. everything is vegan. this business is an amazing force in the columbus community. I can’t wait to read more of my backlog, so I can justify stocking up on all of their books.
Their tortugas change often, and not once have they come to disappoint! It is cheap vegan food that is sure to satisfy the hunger of any eater. The tortugas are always filling, their coffee is also pretty good. And, if you are a reader, you might even be tempted to buy a local book that they have as well.
Such a cool vibe, tasty food and friendly staff. Will definitely be back
It is so wonderful to find a privately owned bookstore. Two Dollar Radio is special as a publisher and the cafe with great reads.
Delicious food, a good selection of books, and an absolutely lovely atmosphere! Im definitely going to go back.
Great selection of books - they don’t miss! Plus their food is FIRE and cruelty free. You must try the brunch chilaquiles or the Thursday pizza (the crust is YUM). The atmosphere is a whole vibe and the staff is always so friendly! A Columbus must.
This place is so good! Plus its a really cute book store :)
This place is amazing. great food, great books, friendly staff. what more could you ask for?
Came for a reading by a friend whod just been published. Fun little space with a surprisingly varied menu for what looks like just a little coffee bar. I asked for decaf and they didnt have any made but insisted on making some just for me. Enjoyed my visit very much. Street parking was easily found just a hundred feet up the street or so.
The food... I have not had a bad thing here. All made in house and delicious. Full of flavor- you won’t even miss the animal products that are not in your food! If you haven’t tried the ‘banana peel barbacoa’ you need to today! It’s amazing!!! The publishing company and bookstore are top notch for their size. Book topics are relevant and on pointe. The company supports equality.
Great coffee, interesting books
Great all-vegan place with a lot of options. The atmosphere and the service were amazing. The coffee options were great and I loved them. Tried the loaded tortugas, the food was alright. Overall a must-go. Highly recommended.
The coffee is the best in the city! I encourage to have Eric brew you a cup. For 30 years I drank my coffee with creamer -most recently I drank my coffee with Almond milk. Because of the quality of taste I now prefer to drink my coffee black. I love the coffee here. Great vegan recipe books. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Staff is wonderful. Went to try the vegan menu and check out the books. I guess I should specify that I am not vegan but was curious about what an all vegan menu might look and taste like. Needless to say, after one meal I am a big fan. Got the tortuga. Would recommend. Loved the house made hot sauce. Not a fan of the ketchup, too watery. Meal was great though. And the book collection was refreshing. Will be back for Friday date night that I saw on the board. $32 for 2 drinks and 2 books. Deal.
The folks who work here are amazing and friendly! Always smiling and remember your name. Super hip and laid back environment. They have poetry slams and comedy night with local stand up comedians. Their vegan pizza night on Fridays is a must! I have also enjoyed brunch here, too. Feels like a very safe and fun place! All vegan menu
If a bookstore can be a boutique, this would be it. This is not the store for you if you are looking for a thousand copies of the it book. Rather, it is a place to find inspiration to read a wider range of diverse books. The way the store is set up makes you want to read everything in it. Also, it is a place to have great conversation over coffee and food. While I didnt sample the fare, it is easy to see that it is a comfortable and quiet place to spend time with a friend or significant other. A very unassuming non pretentious place to spend some time. Check this place out for sure.
Im not a vegan, but the food was excellent! My vegan friend invited me to go. I was curious & was pleasantly surprised. Had the crab cake sandwich. Being from Maryland, I have to say it was very tasty! Friendly, inviting atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Awesome space and delicious food! We tried the buffalo BLT, the mac and cheese, and the poptarts. All were super yummy! Friendly staff, and a great selection of unique books. I cant wait to visit again!
Best vegan spot in Columbus and not overpriced like other spot !
I have found a vegan business that has EVERYTHING. The food is unique and fantastic, the coffee is amazing. The bookstore atmosphere featuring trendy pop art is the perfect aesthetic. I loved how a majority of the books offered for sale were from people within marginalized groups in society. They uplift those voices out of the dark while also taking care of the earth with their all vegan menu. I can’t wait to come back for a happy hour and drinks, as they have a draft beer and cocktail menu as well! This is the place every vegan should go when coming to Columbus!
Good food, good service, good books. How often can you say that?
Really great vibe. Good books, friendly people, tasty coffee and alcoholic drinks 6 days out of the week. The events here are lovely - book clubs and poetry readings etc.Food is tasty and all vegan. Fast wifi, good place to work
Such a fun place! My partner and I went for the first time tonight. Had a drink and browsed an awesome selection of books. Well definitely be back!
We come here occasionally for brunch and its always delicious. Its around $30 for a two person brunch with coffee drinks. I also love that it is vegan. It also happens to be a great bookstore, too!
All the food is vegan, and its delicious. All the food is home made, when I bring non-vegan friends here they enjoy the food. They have a great and wide variety of books, novels, poetry, and graphic novels. I Love the environment and the gatherings that take place here. Would recommend others to visit.
Books, paired with really good Vegan food... It took only a simply introduction. This is now my favorite place. I informed the staff that due to my level of awe and excitement that I would commence stalking the place regularly. They did not object. Go there... N O W.
Two Dollar Radio is fantastic! I’ve been for the brunch several times and their food is SO GOOD! I recommend the buffalo mac & cheese or the peanut butter brownie. The atmosphere is also really cool, check it out!!
The food was better than anticipated. As a traditional eater living with a vegan I occasionally try role reversal in our dining selections. Everything is vegan! #1 burrito was really tasty as was the potato and leek soup. I was really surprised by the biscuit with sausage gravy. It was soooooooo good. Well be back for sure.
This place is such a blessing for Parsons Ave. I live a couple blocks away and have made this my new home away from home. Im a nursing student and study every day. Their hours are great for my schedule and the vibes are amazing! Did I mention they serve alcohol?! For those stressful days of studying this is just what I need! Dont change a thing.
Good coffee, great books, tasty treats. This was a nice spot to reconnect with an old friend. Nice little corner for little kids. Parking was a breeze today with spots right out front. My friend enjoyed the buffalo mac and cheese.
Such an adorable place. I love the smell of coffee and books that hit you as you walk in! Great peaceful atmosphere. Such a little gem along Parsons Ave.
My absolute favorite place to hang out in town. Good food, good books, excellent events, superb staff... I love it all!
Love this place, and recommend it to everyone, especially for weekend brunch with friends. Atmosphere there is something, delicious and nice looking food, friendly personnel, board games, cocktails, and a lot of interesting books. Thank you guys for a great time.
Love it! Good community hangout! It has books available for purchase and perusal and an eclectic array of tastes and flavors on their menu. There is a list of events and activities they keep posted and updated and are open to adding to it if someone wants to start something themselves!
Went to see a few short films created by a colleague. Nice atmosphere with a good assortment of books for sale, some from local authors. Nice childrens corner, assorted art media, tea, coffee, legal beverages, popcorn and other informal food items. Parking available nearby. It was a pleasant experience l would undertake again!
In excellent completely vegan establishment. I love their version of crab meat and everything else have tried there. Friends who Ive taken along with me have also been completely satisfied. Very nice dessert options as well along with the choices of Brew and other beverages. Its a really nice unique setting when you include the bookstore aspect. The service is always friendly And Timely. I will never hesitate to head to $2 radio headquarters for some great vegan food!
Very tasty food! I really enjoyed the wraps I ordered!
Nice atmosphere. Decently busy on a Saturday afternoon makes it a nice place to see and meet people. Its a coffeehouse, bookstore, eatery (light foods), and a watering hole all in one. That combination itself brings in a nice mix of people. However, you wont be about to put cream in your coffee since the eatery part seems entirely vegan.
The environment was fun and the food delicious. Enjoyed playing Clue, while eating lunch. Low stress and calm atmostphere is my kind of establishment!
Interesting but yummy food options! Great atmosphere to hang out or get some work done
All their menu items are hilariously named. The tortugas are my favorite thing in the world! Thanks for all the great food, books, and vibes!
This is a great book store and better whole food plant based restaurant with beer. The people are smart, funny thoughtful. They do interesting things. If you want to expand your thinking, go. This reminds of a great bookstore, restaurant in Florence.
I came here on a Friday afternoon. The lady at the counter was helpful with menu suggestions. At her suggestion, I ordered the 7 layer wrap. I was expecting it to be a hot wrap but it was cold (not served cold, it is made that way...to clarify). It was 💣💣💣! I got a brownie too that was amazing! I dont live in Columbus, but will definitely stop here when passing through or visiting my sister. Really nice place.
Great vibe. Friendly, cool people. Great vegan food. Beer. All of that plus an independent bookstore. What more could you ask for?
Its a very cozy place. Somewhere I could see myself sitting down at to read and write. I had no idea it was a vegan spot until I ordered something.
An independent publishing company that serves coffee, alcohol, and food?! A dream. I loved my visit and walked away with two new books that I can’t wait to read.
Amazing independent bookstore. The food is delicious and the book selection is super unique. If you are in Columbus and you love books, you have to visit this place!
Excellent vegan food, huge book selection, the owners are super cool!!! Support local business!!!
Very cute vegan spot! Very friendly staff and delicious food and coffee. I ordered a dirty chai and it was very good. This is a great spot to visit regularly.
Had an enjoyable time. Linch was delicious..vegetarian and tasty. Cheerful and unique place that was refurbished but kept the flavor of the older building. Many years ago this building housed a public library branch. I went there often. Now it again promotes books. I found some new authors to try and a book that I have wanted to read. I look forward to some of the events they have which include book clubs, author readings, music nights and more.
I didnt think Id be able to get a full, quality meal at a book store / cafe combo. Turns out I was totally wrong. They have a full menu of delicious food, and a well-made (and huge) brownie for dessert. Our server was extremely friendly.
What a great find. Lovely homey Decor inside and the food was absolutely terrific. I had a Jean-Claude Van Damme sandwich and it was so good and spicy along with a side salad. This restaurant knows how to make a vegetarian meal taste wonderful. I will be back
I. Love. This. Place. Delicious coffee and tea selection, amazing book selection, and a great place to just hang out and play board games with friends or get some work done. Its so cute. I wish they had a cola or a lemon-lime soda option, but they do have root beer and ginger ale.
Chill atmosphere with an amazing selection of books carefully curated. Vegan food, good beer and cocktails.
I have nothing but love for 2$ Radio! The staff are amazingly friendly and my favorite part is their reading selection, not your average inventory of books. If you love to read and write as well as drink coffee, stop-in and enjoy!!!
Friendly staff and unique and spacious environment with great indie book selection! As a new vegan, I was happy to see how diverse the menu was and ended up ordering a sandwich, appetizer and dessert. All were incredibly satisfying, flavorful and fresh!! I will be coming back :)
Very unique. Great vegan food even though Im not a vegan. Took my former wife there for dinner. Shes a vegan. Very enjoyable experience
A quaint local publishing house, bookstore, and vegan cafe all one lovely space. The service is always wonderful and the servers are delightfully pleasant and polite.
Cute place, but food is overpriced and just okay. The breakfast burrito had several people at our table gagging. Vegan food is normally delicious so this was very disappointing
My wife and I went to eat there with our toddler son the other day. Not only was the food INCREDIBLE (in my opinion best vegetarian food in town), but they thoughtfully have a little play area for kids, and our kid went right over and started playing while we enjoyed a meal together. Ive never been to a place that was so kid friendly. Highly recommending to all our friends. 5 stars arent enough!
Its a warm friendly caring little third place where you can form connections/connectors to others & things going on in the little pocket neighborhoods around it. It has lots of books that are portable little vinyets of knowledge & information!
Great place. Very kid friendly too. We played Connect 4 while we were waiting for our food. They had toys for kids to play with too.
Great book store run by even better people. The environment is wonderful-- bright and clean and warm. Coffee, alcohol, and food available. Books everywhere-- from smaller publishers and authors, some published by Two Dollar Radio themselves. Plenty of seating and special events happening regularly.
The food is surprisingly outstanding, coffee is strong, and beer selection is good. The setting is warm and and casual, and the book selection is truly unique. Even if you’re not vegan, you need to stop in!
Great place to grab a bite to eat, read or look for new books. I also saw some book club sign up sheets.this place is cool and friendly. A great place for little readers too
Really unique place. Good coffee, fun selection of books. Went for the brunch. Breakfast burrito was tasty. All vegan. Cant wait to go back.
This is the perfect place to take your non-vegan friends. The eggplant po boys were delicious. Much better than some meat versions Ive had around columbus (disclaimer: Im not vegan), and on par with what Ive had in New Orleans. The mac and cheese is where its at though. Ill keep coming back for that stuff. Oh, they also have great pizzas. Unfortunately they didnt have them this weekend but said they would the next. I appreciate the dynamic menu as it gets me to try new stuff. They also make wonderful cocktails and have some good beers on tap. They keep some games (uno, connect 4, etc) out to okay with, and even have kids toys in the back area.I no have yet to come here outside of night mode but they have some cool books and a fancy coffee machine so I could see myself coming here for some caffeine.
I love this place. One of the few places in Columbus where you can get coffee, beer, snacks, or books and its still quiet enough to read and get things done there. The staff has always been nice.
Service is always great and friendly here and the food delicious. The place has a great vibe.
Food is absolutely amazing I had the Tres Tacos Hermanos and my wife had the jean Claude van randy wrap she said it was the BEST wrap she’s ever had! The tacos I had were so flavorful and you can tell everything is homemade as advertised! Our daughter who’s only 2 loved the “kiddos” meal with the seitan chickn strips great to see a place that has a meal for her we will be back anytime we are in Columbus
Love 2 dollar HQ. Great speakers and book groups, and I love their coffee.
Delicious food!
