I came here to have my nose pierced years ago and have come back several times to have my jewelry changed.Everyone is always friendly, takes every sanitary precaution, and the stations are always perfectly clean.The only thing I was dissappinted with is that one of the pieces of jewelry I bought looked really shimmery and shiny and bright in the store but looked dull once I left. I wish I had seen it under natural light before purchase.But other than that, I love going to Evolved and will keep coming back!

I could not begin to recommend Evolved enough! Luka (@lowbarart on Instagram) is my artist now and I am so happy I found them. Their talent is amazing! This sleeve (still a WIP) is just one of many more to come pieces we will do together. I am absolutely thrilled about my piercing experience at Evolved. Jessica was my piercing artist and I feel like I hit the jackpot with her. She explained everything about what to expect and made me feel like I was the only client that mattered. The waiting area was crowded but it never felt like she was rushing to get me out of there. She answered all of my questions and took great care to get great placement. I really feel like my piercing is in the perfect spot for my face. 100% recommend.

I’ve been to Evolve location 1980 twice now. The first experience overall exceeded my expectations. From the front desk lady with pink hair to my tech Amanda(who is just amazingly awesome.)The second experience I cannot say the same. I stay out of town and came in just for the piercing just for me and my friends to be greeted rudely by Maddie due to the new mask mandate in that Columbus that we were unaware of due to I come in from out of town. So we left and to get the masks. Still to come back to her being unnecessarily rude. As if we were a bother even though we all were paying clients. But yet with the other clients who not of color proceeded to walk in, we’re treated with a smile and great courteous. Honestly, only reason we proceed is because I can honestly vouch for Amanda work and her extraordinary ways to provide great service.After this and being greeted like that by Maddie with my next upcoming wanted piercings. It’s hard to say whether we’ll be using evolved as the choose of service or not. But again we love Amanda!

Just left evolved a few minutes ago. Went in for my first piercing and it went amazing! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Dave was my piercer. They talked me through the process because I was a little nervous. Really cool person so if you’re going in to get a piercing I would ask for Dave. Had my first piercing ever here today; I was a walk-in and they were able to serve me. I was in and out within 30 minutes, and the service was spectacular from beginning to end. The guy who pierced me (Dave K) was FANTASTIC; professional, knowledgeable, and hilarious. I even had a friend with me who wasnt planning to get anything, but after a great conversation that showed their extremely detailed knowledge of piercings and metals, she was convinced to get something, too. It could not have been a better experience. A++++++

Updated 5/25/2021Just got my tattoo work done today and could not be happier! I got my work done by Bob for a cover-up of a tattoo I got 10 years ago in an attempt to cover up my original tattoo that did not turn out as well as I wanted. I have to say Bob is one talented artiest! Truly one of the tattoo gods! The pictures Im posting really say it all. I finally have ink that I cant wait to show off! I have found my go to studio for all future tattoo work. If your looking for a cover-up, a new tattoo,or some touch up work to bring back the color to your old tattoo, give this studio a call. I pretty much refuse to go anywhere but evolved now. Holly was amazing when I went in for an industrial and ended up getting a trident. I love her energy and her patience. I’m obsessed with Canada’s work as well. She is so much fun to talk to and she’s always checking in on you during your appointment. I cannot wait to go back and finish my half sleeve with her. I highly recommend Evolved to anyone searching for a piercing or a tattoo. This specific branch is so homey and comfortable. It feels like visiting friends and family.

Canada did my first tattoo today and it turned out phenomenally. While there my fiancée also decided to get her nose pierced on a whim and they were able to accommodate us as I was paying for my tattoo. I already talked with Canada about some other ideas I had for future tattoos, and will definitely be back there. Everyone we interacted with there was great.

I was super nervous ab this tattoo and asked the design to be changed AFTER my original consultation. they had no interest in looking at the new design until the day of my actual appt. we ended up started almost 2 hours after my scheduled time which was pretty frustrating. in addition the artist added some random shading around my design which wasn’t in the picture i showed or the print/stencil laid on my arm. and i dont like the outside shading at all. i never said i wanted that so idk why he did it… it’s permanent and i’m in love w the tiger but the experience was poor.

I had an appointment at 4 but came in a little early as I knew there was paper work, as soon as I walked in everyone up front greeted me with a smile, and the place looked amazing, they explained to me everything I need to do in a way I could fully understand as it was my first piercing, as soon as I was done they had explained to me everything in pricing and also helped helped me pick, I waited maybe 5 minutes max and was brought in earlier then my appointment time, the amazing piercer Dave, he made me feel extremely comfortable even through all the anxiety and explained to me step by step what he was doing and how to get the best looking piercing, even after some challenges with the bar being to short he still changed it out and even explained how changing it out will work, if you are looking for a place to go to for Piercings I highly recommend evolved and even more Dave he was by far the best and bar far made me feel as comfortable as I can be same with the other staff, I will definitely be going back for more in the future

My husband and I both got a tattoo and I got a nose piercing. Everyone we worked with was very professional and super helpful! All around wonderful experience. MG did our tattoos, and did an amazing job. The lines were clean and he made sure we were comfortable and knew what was going on. Batt did my piercing and they also did an amazing job making sure I knew what was going on and was very intensional and professional. They answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable. Definitely recommend!

I went to the 1980 N High street shop to get a piercing. They were amazing! They were so knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. They have a great jewelry selection too! Amanda was my piercer, and she was fantastic. She talked me through the whole process, and it was quick and easy!

Sooooo kind and professional. My piercer was Batt and they did SUCH a good job of walking me through every step so I knew exactly what to expect!

This was done in the fall, and I suppose a late review is better than none, but Dave did a wonderful job! He could tell I was nervous and told me everything he was doing which eased my anxiety. Everything was clean and well organized and I felt safe here. I almost missed the entrance on high street though, but you wont if youre paying attention. Anyway, I will be coming here again if I ever want a tattoo or another piercing, and I recommend you do too!

Piercer Dave is awesome. He’s so easy to get along with, made me feel comfortable in the chair, and did an incredible job with my nose piercing. I was leaning towards a stud, but he informed me about how a nose ring is actually much easier to take care of for a beginner — and I don’t regret my decision to get a ring. A year and a half later, and I’m still just as in love with my piercing as I was on Day 1. Once I decide where I want my next piercing, I’ll definitely be coming back to Piercer Dave at Evolved!

Hector Ruiz is by far one of the best tattoo artists in Ohio. He takes his time on his work and it shows. He has great prices and is a great person. Ive gotten all of my piercings at evolved over the years. Every single time I go in theyre super helpful and welcoming, and they always do a great job of explaining everything theyre doing so youre not left in the dark, which really helps any anxiety you might be feeling about the process. I moved out of Ohio a few years ago, and Ive been wanting to get my nose pierced for a while now. Needless to say I waited until I was back in Ohio so I could go to evolved, because I couldnt being myself to go anywhere else.

My piercer today was Clair Rose. I first met Clair when she was piercing in Athens, OH and my appreciation and love for Clair has only grown since we met a good 4-5 years ago. Clair is always so polite, communicative, friendly, and most of all accommodating and considerate. Clair talks through exactly what shes doing, and your comfort and enthusiasm is her number one goal. She is so knowledgable and a great staff member to help you out. I drive all the way from Athens just to be pierced by her! Evolved Body Art is the way to go, and while youre going, see Clair!!!

Went in for a tattoo and had looked around before finding an artists portfolio I loved. So I went in and talked to the artist Canada. Told her my idea of what I wanted and where I wanted it. We exchanged a few emails of references for the piece. All I can say is Im absolutely impressed with the professionalism of the shop overall. And Canada really brought my piece to life and designed a tattoo Im absolutely in love with. I couldnt have asked for a better experience in getting a tattoo done.

The shop has good covid procedures in place, particularly sanitization spacing out work stations and the waiting area seating. All the staff were friendly and helpful. When I turned 18 a couple years ago the first thing I wanted to do was get my nostril pierced, so I went to Evolved and Holly did the piercing for me! I was pretty nervous, but she was soooo sweet and her vibe calmed me down instantly. She marked and pierced my nostril in the perfect spot and I’ve been in love with it ever since, the experience was great and I barely felt a thing!

I had a piercing fixed by Claire on multiple occasions that I was totally freaked out about. She was amazing and calming and explained everything. She was so gentle and I literally didnt feel anything. I have sent other friends to her and they only go to her...fully stop.

My experience was awesome! I easily set up and appointment online and was greeted by friendly staff upon entering the shop. The front desk staff was helpful and informative with helping me pick out jewelry. I came in for an industrial bar piercing and I strongly recommend Amanda. Took my daughter here for her first piercing for her 14th birthday David did it he was a very nice gentleman and did a great job very clean place very nice people the only thing I didnt like was all the steps I had to carry my baby stroller up LOL need an elevator.

Very rude on the phone had us do a deposit and did not show as the kids work and was not ever welcome us. So we did not go with them instead took the 100$ loss and went somewhere else

LOVE! Evolved staff went above and beyond for my piercing. Holly made me feel comfortable even though I was nervous, and the piercing itself was easy! I passed out from the piercing (I pass out easily) and Holly sat next to me for close to an hour until I felt better. They took care of me until I could get up again and even walked me to my car. First, bring Brett your bugs!!!! I came in last week for a June bug tattoo by Brett, and unsurprisingly I had a great experience. I’ve been to evolved several times and have yet to be disappointed. The staff is always helpful and kind; this time was not an exception. Brett listened to all of my requests and thoughts on my tattoo, helping me to create something I am obsessed with. Incredibly talented, he was also very knowledgeable (on tattoos and bugs haha) and overall a great artist to work with. Brett was super enthusiastic about the piece the whole way through which made things even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to go back and grow my collection of creepy crawlers. I have been going to Evolved ever since I came to OSU. Holly has done most of my piercings and has made it such an enjoyable experience. From visiting on my birthdays and browsing the unique jewelry to getting help on resizing piercings, Holly has been super knowledgeable and kind! Absolutely the BEST place in Columbus to get tattooed or pierced. The staff is so wonderful and friendly and really take the time to bond with you as a person instead of just treating you like a money bag. I got tattooed by Luka and they are an AMAZING tattooist. Their animal tattoos are some of the best I have ever seen. I will be returning to them for ALL future work on my body for as long as they are in the area. They really went above and beyond to make absolutely sure that my tattoo was as perfect as it could possibly be, and really cared about the motive behind it (self harm scar coverup) and wanted to make sure that I was happier with my body than when I walked in above all else. They absolutely succeeded as my new tattoo is definitely the most high quality ink on my body by a long shot, and I no longer feel the need to cover my arm in public.Holly the piercer is so caring and fun, and she definitely has an eye for what she does. All of her piercings are on point. Dave is very experienced and talented, and I love his hilarious tattoos. Got a tattoo by Luka recently as it was their style, it’s just finished healing and it’s by far the best tattoo I’ve ever had, both the art and the experience was phenomenal. Tattoos generally aren’t too painful for me but their hands were so light that the pain was non existent. We had a great conversation and evolved should be very lucky to have them. I will definitely be back as I want more work done and would love nothing more than for Luka to do it!

I got my belly button pierced by Krista (I’m not sure how to spell her name) she was AMAZING she made me feel comfortable! The minute we went back I knew I was in GREAT hands13/10 DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

So i went here for my 17th birthday to get a belly piercing, clare pierced me and she was very patient, charismatic, and fast . my piercing wasn’t crooked and she answered any possible question or scenarios i could think of about piercing after care . i will definitely be back if i do another piercing. i love my ring too !!!

My experience with Evolved (Summit) could not have been better. Simple ear lobe piercing, but a huge needle-phobe and was pretty nervous. Krista did a phenomenal job explaining the process, keeping needles out of sight lines, and making sure I was comfortable. Both Krista and Clair worked together to do a tandem piercing of both lobes and explained after-care, questions about terminology, and anything else I could think to ask. Im in love with the piercing and it was a phenomenal first piercing experience. No point in going anywhere else.

I got my industrial and daith pierced with Sosa and he did an amazing job! He’s super friendly and made sure I got the right jewelry for my ear since mine are smaller! I highly recommend him but everyone was super friendly

By far my favorite shop in Columbus. They are so inclusive, welcoming, and knowledgeable! I feel completely safe and at ease here. The counter girl Hex is lovely- she is very helpful, friendly, and great at using her own personal (super cute!) style to provide recommendations.Alexandro was able to put a new septum ring in my hole that hadnt been used in 8 years and did this gorgeous vertical lebret piercing for my birthday that Im absolutely in love with! Batt was able to put my tragus jewelry in after about 3-4 years. Both Batt and Alexandro were super gentle and made me feel completely comfortable, despite my hatred for needles!I absolutely love this shop and highly recommend it to anyone from any walk of life.

Dave my piercer was absolutely the best. He cared greatly for my health and comfort. He made me feel so comfortable. The girls up front were awesome. Seem to be customer oriented. Went to other Evoled on Summit that front counter guy was kinda rude and definitely not a customer service oriented guy. Go to High St and see Dave. You wont regret it. Ive gotten three piercings in the last week because of how awesome my experience was.
