If there are repairs to be made on any of my small engines that I cant figure out, I always take them to Jordan Bicycle and Lawnmower. The staff is friendly, and they are always able to get me back up and running in a reasonable time for a decent price.
Well I use to go to them, now they are closed for good
Took my bike that I havent rode in 23 years and aaked them to service it. Told them that I needed two new tires and inner tubes. When I got my bike back they said my tires were good and we just put new inner tubes on it. Tires went flat after a week. So I had my tires checked at another shop and they said my tires were dry rotted and the inner tubes were the original ones that came with the bike. The back breaks didnt work and the gears didnt shift smoothly either. They gavre real poor service. Charged me $75+ change. $15.75 plus tax per inner tube that was never put on. Asked owner about inner tubes and they said we dont warranty inner tubes, which I understand. How can you put a warranty on something if you wanted to if you never put the part on in the first place. Will be seeking legal assistance.😫😫
So after doing some research and reading some reviews, based on what I read, I came to the conclusion that I probably wasnt going to have a very pleasant visit if I decided to visit this shop! Lots of people complained about the service and the lady at the front and her customer service skills, but praised the gentleman who does the actual repairs in the back! I decided to go ahead and give them a shot. However, i didnt need repairs to any equipment, but was buying some replacement parts for my equipment! When i walked in, i was greeted by the lady who i assume everyone was mentioning in there reviews, and to my surprise she was very nice and polite and was quick to get the parts i needed. I dont know if my personal expertise and knowledge of lawn equipment and the fact that i had the broken parts with me that I was replacing but it helped to make my experience quick and friendly with no problems! The lady I interacted with (owner i assume), was very friendly and knowledgeable and knew right where everything was and had me in and out in 10 min. This is only my 1st experience with them, and I will be returning until they give me a reason not too. My suggestion to people when visiting any Parts and Repair shop is to have the part your replacing with you, any info you can get about the part or peice of equipment your replacing or fixing ie. Model#, serial#, engine specs, brand, size, and lastly, do some research on what your replacing or repairing so you have a better understanding of why and what your paying for. There is tons of information on the web for just about anything in the world you wanna know or learn about. It takes some time away from you but well worth it once you know what your dealing with. In order for any place of business to help you with your needs, it really helps when you have all of the info available possible in order to get best experience possible. People are not mind readers and just know exactly what you need because you walk in or call them and say I need a blade for a lawnmower! There are so many consumer products available on the market that come in every shape and size now days that you have to be specific about what you need! Rant done! All said, I will be a returning customer!
Always excellent and friendly service. They know how to fix lawn mowers!!! Have used them 30 years they are the best! rdh
The store is closed...they have gone out of business.
I read a lot of negative reviews of this place. That was not my experience. I ordered a part for my pressure washer and it arrived quickly and was fairly priced. The people were friendly and helpful. I did not have any repairs done, so I cant speak to that side of the business. But, I would definitely give them a shot if I needed it.
Convenient location with plenty of parking lot to try out your new bike from their very nice bike collection. The owner and employees take time to discuss options and their stellar repair staff.
They are very smart easy to deal with. Know the business very well . Hey I love them.
Jonathan is an awesome mechanic. Years of experience... Takes his time getting it right...
I only went in to purchase a bicycle inner tube to us 26 they did not have any available and they told me I was not able to purchase one from another store and allow them to put it in. I had to purchase it directly from them.
Sold me wrongs parts and was marked up 100 percent.
Need small engine repair? Here it is.
Great, friendly and professional
Good thing I read these reviews. Saved myself a bad experience.
Dropped my mower off with specific instructions. It has a 2 spring throttle/govenor andd 1 was missing. 8 days later they called and said it needs carbureator. It runs perfect. They also said mechanic said the linkage is correct. Waste of time, the mechanic took rod off of govenor and hooked it to throttle and was cluesless about springs. I picked up my mower, googled the model and fixed it myself for $4. Their estimate was $350.
This is your local lawn equipment and repair store. They do honest work at a fair cost so I remain a repeat customer.
Simple, very fast nice
I will never shop there again. I physically brought the part in that I needed and she ordered the wrong part. She was rude and offered no solutions to the problem. So Im stuck with a $40 part I dont need and I have to re-order the correct part. With someone else!
Results of service is always great, Ive never had to return for bad repair work performed! Thanks!!
I dropped off my riding mower on Friday morning for warranty work (Troy-Built), it was complete Tuesday afternoon. Although they are not the most talkative folks around (not a sin), they were receptive to conversation and professional.
Didnt have the CC lawnmower I was searching for...
Ive been here several times. Terrible customer service. They act like they are doing you a favor by shopping there. No people skills. Would not recommend them.
Awesome folks and awesome customer service. They know what theyre talking about
Quick and friendly service. Lawnmowers, bicycles, and generators sold and repaired.
Poor customer service, would not trust in repairing any of my equipment after what they did to my weedeater.
Great shop!
They fix my riding mower in one day, it was ~$110 for diagnostics, a new battery and some carburetor cleaning, and adjusting?
