The customer service was VERY POOR! The girl in hair was so busy talking with friends she failed to conduct professional business! Showed pic of wet & wavy style. I needed hair she gave me some dry barrel curls pack and left. The men did not know hair. They showed us some matted looking hair and had attitude 😒! Grade of F+ in quality, service & price!!! -1

Ive been going here over 15 years, but I will never return after today. They had a sale going on, buy 1 pack of hair get 1 free (per their signs all around the store). I bought 6 packs and they OVER-CHARGED me for every single pack of hair. He said their sale is buy 4 get 1 free, such liars! They are dishonest and I will never go back here again. The beauty store next to Bank of America on South Lumpkin Rd has more variety of wigs and weaves, and their prices are so much cheaper.

I love the 98 cent store they have just about everything that you can imagine even clothes and school uniforms too and yesterday I needed a back in the days iron and now they make the iron for your hair that you can plug in OMG..😂😎been going to the 98 cent store for year and if you want a store that has reasonable pricing the 98 cent store is the place to go. Theyre always pack 😂

Was in town for The Xscape concert and Miss Karen Shaw got us together on our hair! She is a boss. I advise anyone needing wigs, she is it. She helps pick the right look for you and style and custom fit it. The store owner was very friendly and even gave us a discount for shopping with him. We were very satisfied with their service.

I enjoy shopping at 98 cent store for all my haircare needs, and I love the service I get from the lady Queen, whom runs the wig department, she always recommend the most beautiful wigs and hair products to manage your wigs, also the rest of the staff are real friendly, and they carry a great quality of a variety of items for whatever you may need. 98 cent store is one of my favorite stores and I couldnt see myself shopping anywhere else. Great job guys and girls.

This is one of the best Beauty Supply stores in Columbus. They usually have what you need and they are always running specials on hair. The prices are really competitive and since they have remodeled its easier to find what u youre looking for. Also a lot of their items are $ .98 you cant beat that.

The prices here are reasonable and the staff is very customer friendly. My friends and I enjoyed our visit and will be back!! They have a variety of thing from clothes to hair products and wigs, also house supplies and furniture!!!! If youre new to Columbus or visiting like myself I would most definitely recommend you check them out (:

Went in looking for a specific look and there my Hair Angel was to help me Queen.I explained what I wanted and she delivered. Reasonable prices and I caught some deals...please check the 98 cent store out ladies and if theres ever any confusion or what kind of style your looking for QUEEN GOT YOU!!! (then I travel from Opelika,Al)I go where Im good!!!

This is normally very busy, but the prices are reasonable & the quality of the hair is ok, but other than hair & beauty products they sell shoes, clothing and school uniforms.

I went there one day and was looking for durags and grease for my hair and brushes for my waves and got very good help from the worker Vernitta She was very nice and friendly

If the men in this shop werent so rude Id be okay. The one male I had to interact with was so arrogant and nasty. Wouldnt even hold his phone conversation to do his job. Never again. Will steer clear of this sad place.

Its always going to be my favorite beauty store. Driving across town is nothing when I get quality service and products.

Went to this store to buy some hair and didnt get any service. No one acknowledge me or ask me to hold on. Staff was letting customers argue and didnt ask to lower their tone or anything. Had to go to the store across the street to get the items that I wanted.

The men in there are absolute trash. Ruined any chance of me returning or recommending this place. One male in particular clearly never heard of customer service.
