I am so truly moved by the service here! We just got back from Germany and I needed to replace a few things on my vehicle. I walked into parts on Thursday to make my purchase. Then I walked over to service to see if they could put them on that day. I was told to bring my car back tomorrow or Saturday and they would make sure to get them on for me. I went back on Friday. D.J. helped me make sure everything was correct even going as far as making sure he put everything on that I needed which wasn’t even a part of the service I paid for. Bringing your vehicle here will be met with amazing prices, expectations exceeded and the best service you can find. I ended up having to go back and I was in and out in under fifteen minutes that included helping me fix my bumper! An amazing woman (I wish I got her name) got under it and fixed it for me. I kept apologizing but she was more than happy to help me. I am truly so grateful! The service department is the best of the best I have found! This is the only place I will bring my vehicle. Each employee I came across had a wonderful attitude and you could tell just how much they loved their job. This place is amazing!
AMAZING SERVICE! We needed a new FOB and for it to be reprogrammed. DJ really helped us out, he was so patient, kind and completely understanding. This was an outstanding transaction. My dream truck was sitting at this Dealership and Im a 6 hour ride away. I reached out to the Dealership, spoke to Bryant about my situation, advised I couldnt get to his location on the current weekend, but I could get up there on the following. I then spoke to Chris, the General Manager, put a small amount of money down to hold the vehicle to the following weekend. Worked with Bryant over the week to provide him with the specific date/time I would arrive. When I pulled up to the Dealership, my new truck was sitting there waiting for me to drive it home. I was very upset about my car and I needed it fixed. The warranty people were no help at all from my point of view . They forgot about how to help people who has already helped and paid them. DJ from the service department step in and really fight for me getting my car fixed. He talked to warranty people on my behalf and stayed in communication with throughout the process. I would called or DJ would call me. The entire service department showed great professionalism throughout the three weeks. When something happens to your vehicle its like family getting hurt in a lot of ways. I will recommend Sons to anybody that needs help with their vehicle.

Dealership Satisfaction SurveyOverall, the work was satisfactory. However my wheels were rotated even though I was told the dealership does not perform that during an oil change. And the technician who performed the oil change / tire rotation misplaced my wheel lock key and had a horrible attitude about it when asked where did he place the key. He said back where I got it from. He got it from the cup holder. He returned it underneath the driver seat. Definitely not where he got it from!

I arrived without a service appointment, but I was seen promptly. While waiting, I was asked more than once if I needed a ride, or coffee, or popcorn. And my service job was completed quickly.

I feel that it was ridiculous that I was charged $158.78 to replace my passenger headlight bulb. My driver side headlight bulb was replaced in 2018 and I dont recall paying more than $60 then and it was replaced at the same service shop. I was also told I would still have to pay $125 for a diagnostic charge if I decided not to get my bulb replaced. Why is that? I got an oil change during this visit and doesnt it include a multi-point inspection? Why would a diagnostic charge still be billed?
I appreciate the fact that our battery issue was taken care of quickly. OnStar notified us of an issue with our battery, we didnt want any issues while we are traveling. We were fortunate to be near Columbus, so we called Sons. Great service, really made us feel like we were important.

I was referred to Sons Chevrolet by my car warranty company Silver Rock for Sons to fix two failed fuel injectors. Sons Chevrolet had my vehicle ready by the end of the following day. Sons Chevrolet mechanic did a great job at diagnosing the problem and fixing the problem.

I brought my car in for an oil change and have never had a bad experience (knock on wood). The staff always friendly and call me if something needs to be fixed. So different from Bill Heard and Legacy. Will continue to use them.
Brought my new truck in cause it had a nail in the tire. The tech ended up not looking at the service order and ended up changing my oil instead. The service team made it right and the way they handled everything was truly professional. The service tech just graduated high school and was a true professional also. Speaking to the service rep about this new employee was heart warming experience and I hope Chevrolet gives him all the proper training he can get. Finding a young man these days that wants to learn and work hard is a blessing to the Chevrolet family.
I am a fairly reasonable customer. But, if i see water dropping from my car I know it is the radiator. . i know it is the RADIATOR. 150.00 for me to find out is not going to make it change or stop leaking. Youre supposed to have two from when you first purchased your vehicle. Uhhh, SONS only gave me one key. (Pays locksmith to make a key) The next week, this week, Oh, hey, we have a new key for you! I brought my Chevy Silverado in for a new transmission, 4 new tires and an oil change. I was told I needed to pay for the transmission plus labor up front in order for my truck to be worked on. I have never been to a DEALERSHIP that would force you to pay for the parts and labor upfront. I asked if there was anyway around it i.e. signing a invoice stating I authorize the work and I will pay they said no. I asked what did I owe they said I owed for the diagnostics and they did not give me an oil change because they wanted to do all the work at once. When I declined all work and asked for my truck back because I would not pay upfront. Somehow my truck was magically given an oil change and I need to pay for it. When I explained I was told the oil change had not be done I was told verbatim Im not going to argue with you! then when I was face to face with the gentlemen in the presence of a manager I was told we did the oil change because it was on the list of things I needed done and it was the easiest. So I asked well if thats the case where are my new tires because thats also pretty easy, I could not get a explanation. I came for major work an oil change should have been on the very bottom of the list. So they clearly snuck that in when I declined services for forcing me to pay up front. I took the same invoice I was given from Sons to another dealership who flat out told me I was being over charged and some of the work they had listed (i.e. $1,100 vacuum pump, $1,300 tires etc) as needed was not. I came to this dealership after dealing with a 3rd party shop that clearly was not capable of working on my truck, only to be over charged and forced to pay up front. I had to take my business 45mins out just to be treated as a customer instead of a dollar sign. Being so close to Fort Benning you would think Service Members are given better treatment definitely not the case.

Purchased a 2020 Equinox & have a problem having it serviced. Should be able to have it serviced at dealership but husband took it in for service on July 17th at 8:15 & when checking on it to see if it was complete was told they did not know when it would be done? I needed my car back as it is the only one I have. They should have told him when he left it they could not get to it so we could leave it another day. WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN! VERY DISSATISFIED.

Long story short there was Lack of communication this entire visit. After a week of having my truck nothing has been done to it but a diagnostic check. And I understand the time we are in and things happen but lack of communication should never be an issue.
The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. No unnecessary sales push for unneeded repairs.

I brought my vehicle in for an estimate Monday 6/14 and was told parts would be ordered that day, it would be a 2-3 day repair and should be in Wednesday and they would call. I called 6/21 since no call back and was told everything was in except some clips and I could bring the car in so I did on 6/22. 1st estimated completion date via text was 6/28, then I received a text from Alicia saying the windshield was delayed but would be in and given a new completion date of 7/2. Then the updates stopped coming in any format. I called 7/2 and was told the windshield was still not in and there was no estimated date after having my vehicle for 2 weeks. I called my claim representative and some local glass places who indicated they had the windshield in stock. I called back and advised local availability of the windshield. My car has no water or other sensors to calibrate in a windshield. It is ridiculous I had to look for other options after now almost 3 weeks. I was called by Alicia on 7/15 and told my windshield would be installed that afternoon, the installer was on his way, and I could pick it up after 4:30 that day. I had a meeting so I indicated I would be there in the morning 7/16 to pick it up. Luckily I called before I drove the 40 minutes on 7/16 and was told the installer did not come 7/15 as I was told, but no one ever advised that didn’t happen. I was told the glass installer was coming about noon and my car would not be ready until after 3 or 4:00. I had rearranged my schedule for a morning pick up so I had had to move meetings AGAIN. The lack of service and communication, along with feeling like I was purposely told incorrect information to avoid difficult conversations, lack of willingness to find alternative resolutions, and flat out not being concerned about customer service or satisfaction in the least was unacceptable.
NEVER, EVER GO HERE. Unless you want to get the worst customer service of your life. And they won’t even follow up with you when you have a bad experience to make it right. 0/10 would not recommend.
Mr. Harris provided me ultimate customer service and the experience was great. I felt like I was at the BMW facility again, however, received more for my money this time. I will return soon.
Hands down the best sales experience Ive ever had. We werent pushed or pulled in any direction by Jose, our salesman. He listened to all of our needs and understood we were in a tight spot. We viewed and drove two used vehicles, but Jose could tell I was eyeing a new vehicle priced way outside our price range. He promised he could get us in the new vehicle with the payments we were asking. Obviously I took it as a sales pitch and told him we would come back when we received our tax return. He countered that by letting us take the new vehicle home and come back the next day. Which we did.Long story short, we ended up purchasing the new vehicle with zero down, lower interest rate, and a lower payment than we could have expected. This was by far the easiest, fastest and most enjoyable vehicle purchase experience I have ever had. Thank you Jose and Sons Chevrolet for my 2021 Chevrolet Silverado.
Absolutely garbage company. I had a transmission replaced with them and now 53 thousand miles later the transmission is out again. I was told there would be a 80,000 mile warranty on it and now that I have PCs’Ed they are not willing to stand behind their nation wide warranty as promised. I bought a 2017 Chevy Tahoe from Opelika Chevy I HIGHLY SUGGEST ALL or any service member looking to buy a Chevrolet vehicle take that extra drive over to Opelika
Just bought a vehicle today. My sales rep was Mr. McAhren. I must admit coming from someone who doesn’t trust ANY car dealership Mr. McAhren has changed my opinion. He wasn’t pushy and had the decency to sit back and allow me to decide what vehicle I wanted. When I asked questions he gave me an honest answer which helped me decide what my best option was. Once I made the decision, he did everything possible to hurry up the process (that usually takes FOREVER) to get me in and out. I can honestly say he did whatever it took to make sure I left the lot satisfied. From start to finish these guys did a great job and I’ll definitely be back once it’s time to buy again!!

Great place. Had our truck services there for oil change and a recall checkup. They did a feat job. Great customer service. DJ Stokes, was a great help and took care of us. Thank you DJ and mechanics for your hard work and help.
I usually get exceptional service at this location. However my last two visits were a little disappointing. I service my 2014 Malibu with an oil change and vehicle inspection. The service was fast and friendly however they did not tell me until after I paid and about to leave that the wiper blades need replacing. I would have let the do it if I would have known before they finished the oil change. Two weeks later I took my 2011 Silverado for a oil change and tire rotation. The washer fill light was on. Upon completion they tell me they were not able to do the tire rotation because of locking lug nuts. I told them I dont have locking nuts on my truck and that where I normally take my truck (Dicount Tire) never has an issue rotating my tires. Upon leaving the check washer fluid leavel light was still on and I tried to reset it but it did not go off. Had to buy washer fluid separately a week later.

We have crazy work schedules, a kid and a car seat to shuffle around, because his help everything ran seamlessly and on schedule. Went to dealer yesterday to get a oil change with a online appointment. When I arrived I found out i had no appointment. They stated that it would be a few hrs to get to me. They asked to schedule a appointment for today. So we did. They took me in on time, but still took over a hour and half to do the oil change. I believe that they over book appointments which makes the wait time longer. Also i believe that since it is a fleet based dealer the the get priority

We bought a 2020 Traverse premier and paid extra for the LUXCARE XT Exterior & Interior Protection. We had a couple dings took it in to get fixed, the color of the car is pearl white they used just white. Said you wont be able to tell you can tell, then didnt even buff it out looks like they just put paint on and called it a day. Took it back and was told that is the best we can do, it looks like garbage! Have called and left messages with no call backs, come on Sons if you cant do it at least have another company fix your mistakes.
After listing my vehicle for sale on Autotrader, a private buyer reached out to me that turned out to be a representative from this dealership. He offered to purchase my vehicle multiple times. I told them everything that was wrong with my vehicle. I was adamant in telling them that this is a private listing and I don’t want to waste my time. I was given a price range that they would be willing to pay for it. When I got there, I had no one to speak to. Someone took my keys and without informing me of anything drove off in it. A saleswoman gave me an offer thousands of dollars below my listing price and below the agreed minimum price range by far. When I refused and got up to leave, they were argumentative with me. This is a bad business and dishonest. There is no wonder why their lot is almost empty. Buyers and sellers beware! Deceptive!

Jose Martinez was our Salesman and he was professional, thoughtful, and precise. I was impressed by his hospitality and respect for others. He was not pushy and was very upfront about everything. If I purchased another vehicle from here, I would buy from Jose.Lastly, I was shocked by the $5000 up charge over MSRP and the lowball trade in value for my trade in, especially for being a repeat customer. I did get a $500 Military discount and they did come up a bit on the trade in, but I did feel like they were taking advantage of the market situation and not me as they’re customer. I would think twice before recommending my friends and family.
I didn’t have an appointment but it took almost 2 1/2 hours to get my oil change and tire rotation. I seen my truck sitting on a left for almost an hour with a oil pan just sitting underneath and no one working on it. Like I said I understand I didn’t have an appointment but 2 1/2 hour wait is a little long for just an oil change and tire rotation

I purchased a brand new 2018 Chevy Traverse from Sons. Just over three years later (just beyond the bumper to bumper warranty), the alternator died and had to be replaced. Alternators are supposed to last 8-10 years, but the new vehicle I purchased from Sons had a defective alternator that died in just over 3 years.

It took three different occasions to finally fix the brake issues I was having with my vehicle. The first time my brakes were nonexistent so they replaced pads, rotors and did a brake fluid flush. Less then a month later brakes were sticking, felt like I was towing something heavy. So I returned the vehicle back after reading the work ticket that had mix information saying machined the rotors when it had parts listed and priced on it. After confirming the parts were replaced, was told my calibers were busted. But what I don’t understand is how they replaced parts on it the first time and didn’t notice busted calibers. After replacing the calibers, I drove three miles from the dealership and noticed it was doing the same thing still. So I returned immediately and talked to the Service Manager who agreed to road test it with me. Service Manager stated everything was fine. About a month later I returned for the third time for the same problem. This time I brought it to the Service Director’s attention. After receiving information that I needed additional parts replaced, I talked to the General Manager to determine why my truck wasn’t getting fixed the first two attempts. The result was lack of knowledge from the technician not knowing how to troubleshoot or diagnose the problem in the beginning. The most upsetting part about it all of this that I had busted bushings in my steering column. As many times as the technician has seen my vehicle and as many times as the multipoint inspection was conducted, I was still left the dealership with an unsafe vehicle on the road. When I returned immediately the second time and talked to the Service Manager, as a customer who wasn’t satisfied, should have been told something like “ leave it here and we’ll take another look at it”, but yet I was told my vehicle was safe on the road. I’m going to be honest, I feel as a service member I was getting taken advantage of. I highly recommend to all of my soldiers to stay away from y’all’s dealership. I thank God no one has been hurt from me driving on the road for months with little to no brakes on a vehicle. Slow down and educate your technicians, if a vehicle returns, don’t send it back to the same technician three times in a row. Get a second technician to look at it. Two sets of eyes are better then one. Also and more importantly, conduct road test! On the ticket for the second visit, it stated between mileage in and mileage out was One mile! If it was sitting at .8 of a mile and it rolled to full mile while driving to the bay…when was the check on your work conducted? Y’all must want a lawsuit?

In addition while I was in the waiting room there was a gray haired gentleman I assume works in sales because he came from that direction that walked by and I asked for WiFi password. Not only did he go get it for me but offered me a bottle of water and got that. Outstanding service!

My husband recently passed away and I was driving his Chevy Silverado 1500 4WD drive pickup.I love the truck, I feel safe driving the truck until it comes to having to maneuver parking lots, narrow roads and streets and take a corner with another car beside me or coming from the opposite direction. I knew I had to trade it in.I went to Sons to start the window shopping process.Everyone, from the sales lady to the Finance guy made the process so very easy. I did not feel pressured to buy a new car. The experience was very nice.
My car had been ready over 45 minutes because I saw it in the bay ready to go. I asked the guy about 30 minutes prior if I was ready. He said let me check. 15 more minutes later, I had to go to the desk. Everyone sitting around. The only person that asked me if he could help me was with a customer. He took care of me after he was done and he was extremely nice and apologetic. I don’t think anyone knows who’s supposed to be doing what. Why didn’t they come and get me when the car was pulled out?
A very easy process, Bryant was professional and down to earth. He made me feel like family.

DJ in service is awesome! He always takes great care of my husband and I. We originally were taking our vehicles to Rivertown and the experience we get at Sons is completely different. Everyone is welcoming and I have full trust that we won’t get the run around or told we need more work than what is necessary.
Poor service was told by a manager I had to make an appointment to have my car seen. Which would be a week later at 8am. I get to the dealership where there are 10 others checking in then I’m told they’re looking at cars first come first serve and it would take hours for them to even run a diagnostic on my car to order the part I had discussed which is on back order. They stated they wouldn’t order the part until I bring it in. This was a complete waste of my day and my time.
