I blew a tire and by chance pulled into performance automotive inc. They allowed me to leave my car there while I did some research on what steps I wanted to take to fix it and then were able to buy a tire for me and put it on my car all while only talking over the phone. There was only a 35$ service fee for this and I am a happy customer

I am from the Massillon Canton area and frequently I am sent to Columbus to work at my job. I have a 2008 Mini Cooper and went to leave work on a Friday with the hopes of driving back home to Canton for the weekend when my check engine light came on and my car stalled. I took it to a firestone and they ran a diagnostic check on it and told me there was nothing they could do so I called the BMW dealership and they told me to come in on Monday and it would probably be very expensive. So on a whim I called Performance Automotive and spoke with Curt. He told me that they were going to be closing within the hour but if I could get there he and his technician would do what they could to see about getting my car up and running properly. So I rushed my car straight in and without any weight at all they took my car into the garage and figured out that it was just low on oil. They added oil and ran to diagnostic checks on it and also gave it a test drive. Within 45 minutes my car was running like it always has been and I will be able to return home to see my family now. Curt and his team were fantastic and they have definitely gained a customer for life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

These guys know their cars. Im proud to call them my mechanics because they are honest, hard working and professional. I will take my wrx to them over anybody any day. If you have a vehicle you truly enjoy and cherish take it to these guys for sure!

Prices are way higher than most

The staff at Performance Automotive went above and beyond what may be considered their job description for me and my husband! My husband came in with a flat tire, not knowing where else to go. They got him in right at 5 oclock and stayed late just to help him out! I would highly recommend the staff at Performance Automotive for their knowledge, experience, and willingness to help their customers!!

Work done on time, no issues since

They wanted to charge a diagnostic fee just for looking at a rotor/caliper/pad system and determining easily, and visually that they were wearing unevenly- didnt ask if the diagnostic fee was okay- never been to a shop that even charges - dont send your grandmas here

This place is great.Ive had to take my car here more than once for two different kinds of repairs and both times have been stellar.You deal with one guy, Chris, who is very helpful and knowledgeable. He shows you the parts that were replaced and explains everything that was done and why. Theres no hidden charges or fees.Both repairs were slightly major and they offer 12-month/12,000 mile warranties, but Ive never needed to have them replaced.They work mostly on German cars, which, anyone who has one, knows they can be difficult when it comes to repairs, so having people who specialize in this area is very helpful.These people take great care in the work they do and Im always very pleased with the results. Any future repairs will be done here and I suggest anyone with repairs to a German car to have these people handle it.

If you have an old BMW or any import you probably already know they need some love at times and you cant just take them anywhere. If you want a shop you can trust, where you know your in good hands definitely go to performance automotive. When I needed some things fixed Curt literally laid it out for me based on importance. Given my cars a 2003 and I dont want to throw a bunch of money into it he was frank with me about what really did need attention and what could wait or I could survive without. I seriously call him all the time just to get his opinion on things, my husband and would not even consider buying our next car without his input! All I can say is they are best!! Truly honest-not just out for quick buck, knowledgeable, and do work you can rely on.

I own a small independent used car dealership and I bring my European cars 50 miles to have them serviced and repaired here because of the level of expertise regarding these cars and particularly because of how pleasant and helpful they have been to both myself and the customers to whom I have recommended them. I simply cannot say enough good things about them. They have always gone above and beyond.

Great service!

I had an issue with my previous car before I ever went to them and called them on a whim for advice. They spoke on the phone with me for 20 min and didnt even try to get me in for an appt. I ended up taking my car back there and have been going to them ever since. They never tell me I need something when I dont and were able to fix a problem with my tires that two other places (one being a dealership) could not fix right. Its family owned and they are good people. I even brought my new car when I traded my old one in. Trustworthy mechanics! Thanks for your help always!
