I live in Michigan and I was open to the idea of buying a vehicle from out of state. It can often be stressful when it comes to buying a car, but from the very start Germain Mazda came across as one of the most professional dealerships Ive ever talked to. There was great communication and all business was handled professionally and in modern fashion. Cameron was my salesman and he was terrific. He took photos of the vehicle I was interested in and sent them to my phone. Even when I had concerns, he answered all my questions truthfully and even took extra photos just so I could be reassured of the vehicle. I took a chance and made a 200-mile road trip to Columbus. Sure enough, the car was everything that I had hoped for. Shoutout to Cameron and the entire Germain Mazda team for their efforts. Yes, the entire staff inside Germain was awesome. They were helpful, informative, and clearly passionate about what they were selling. Its been a couple of months now and I still love my Mazda. Thanks again to Germain for making my first car purchase so fun and easy!

I was thoroughly pleased by the experience I had at Mazada. I did some research prior to coming to this location and Jordan Bostic did an excellent job of reassuring me of my choice of the Mazda CX-5! I went to other places and they didn’t show me the car like he did. He was so informative and hands on showing me all the gadgets and doo-dads of the car. Things that other dealers never even bothered to mention. His communication was exceptional as well. There was a couple hiccups on the car that weren’t noticed before I bought it (things happen, I get it) and before I knew it, things were in motion to be taken care of. Even after the initial job they were replacing, they did another inspection and changed anything else that they see wasn’t fit before I drove off the lot with it. He communicated with me every second he knew something and was super respectful about it all. He even got my seats re-upholstered for the inconvenience that had a couple significant tears in it. Jordan was super friendly and was very easy to talk to and super relatable (not just because of our names lol) I had a great car buying experience here and would highly recommend to any potential buyers or anyone new to car buying!

I went in for what I believed would be a covered warranty issue, and it was. Scheduling was easy and there was no problem with getting the situation remedied under warranty. They also provided me a loaner car to use for the two days that the repair took. Garrett in service was great - very easy to deal with. Lucas in parts was very helpful. Great experience all around. I really appreciated the ability to text with my service advisor, that makes it much easier.

Had an awesome experience buying from Germain Mazda! As someone who doesn’t typically enjoy the car buying process, Jordan and the rest of the team made it as minimally stressful and streamlined as possible. The conversations were easy as well as the entire purchasing process. This is my 4th time buying from a dealership (1st from Germain Mazda) and was by far the most enjoyable. Horrible customer service & USED CAR SALES STAFF!! Daughter had all set up purchasing a specific car, dealt with this person for days. Then scheduled a time to sign papers. After a few hours when she was happy and excited to have her dream car they text her and told her they sold her car that she had scheduled to sign papers to buy out from under her. Not sure what kind of business you are running but this is the WORST CODE OF BUSINESS ETHICS EVER.

I went in today for an oil change and general inspection. I was about 10 minutes late for my 9am appointment. They were all done with the oil change within an hour, but they did seem pretty busy. In the past, the oil change had only taken 30-45 minutes (but I was late today, so that could have impacted it.)Bumping it down to three stars because when I got into my car and drove away, I noticed that my car antennae had been unscrewed and left on the passenger seat. I had to pull over to a parking lot and reattach it.

Would give Negative Stars if I could - WORST Dealership Ive dealt with in my life. Have had many friends and colleagues in the auto industry and have always had a pleasant & outstanding experience prior. My fiancee was contacted (more accurately harrassed) multiple time time by scamsman, Im sorry... SALESMAN Carlos Whye and he Promised her that he would/could get her out of her current lease and into a new vehicle with no $ down. After multiple visits, no joke, and countless hours of waiting - At least 10 hours sincerely - They returned her vehicle, horribly scratched and with at least 50 additional miles and a half depleted gas tank. See attached photos and please dont ever visit these crooks.P.S.PLEASE notice the final picture ( inside of the passenger door ) when some Remarkable Service Member opened the door with their boot

Bought a low mileage 2014 Mazda3 hatch from Jordan about 6 months ago. My car was impeccable and looked brand new and Jordan was easy to work with. Brought it in for its 3000 mile service this week. In and out within 30 minutes. Nice waiting area with coffee, snacks, water, etc. Ive never had a Mazda and I love it.

My experience with Germain Mazda could not have been better. I fell in love with the new CX-5 before it even hit the US. I started a conversation with Germain Mazda and not only did Paul help me figure out what build was right for me, but when they didnt have one, they went searching and found what I wanted, secured it for me and had it ready to go when I needed it. Picking up the car was easy, informative, and Terry did everything he could to teach this old dog all the new tricks the car had in store. Damon made the financing discussion easy and as much fun as possible, especially with his desktop touch screen. Clean used car, friendly staff, questionable inspection - Bought a used Audi A4 that was in great shape. Having a lot of experience with Audis I was comfortable relying on my expertise to assess the real value of the car. The staff was great - especially since I came on a day where all their cars were covered in ice. They had the vehicle warmed up and ready to go after a short wait. The wait was OK too because they did offer free coffee and I understood the circumstance.After a test drive and inspection there were only a few minor issues (slightly leaking valve cover gaskets, no second key, no spare) that can be expected with a used vehicle. What wasnt ok was that the dealer made a big deal about their inspection process and the dozens of points that were inspected and passed. This included a battery check. When I had my mechanic run a Midtronics check on the battery it failed. Its not a deal breaker but dont count on dealers to be honest in their inspections. No way did that battery pass a check at the dealer and fail another two weeks later.Update 2/8/19: The sales rep called me today and let me know that the previous owner had dropped of the second key. This was a noble gesture and Ive added a star for this. I priced the key at MAG and they wanted $450!

I had purchased a Toyota from Germaine Toyota many, many moons ago, but I will have to say that the standards are just as impeccable. The sales staff is knowledgeable and no pressure!! Terry Johnson worked with me from my internet inquiry through the final close. I could not be happier with my purchase. I thought my Honda Accord would be my last purchase, but my disappointment with the quality of the interior forced my hand (plus I liked the safety features offered). This Mazda 3 has all the bells & whistles, but for a fraction of the cost of a Honda. I thought that I would forever be a Honda girl, but all I can say is, Zoom, Zoom!

The main issue that I have is that Mazda Dealerships do not take ownership of problems that Mazda owners have with their cars... The Customer should not have to go through the time, the sweat and the aggravation of trying to deal with the manufactures when an issue arises. When a customer has an issue the Dealership should say, let me take care of it, dont worry about it. I just spent a significant amount of money buying a car from a non-legacy manufacture that woul have probably gone to Mazda had I not been treated in the manner described above...

I would like to thank Russell (aka “car doctor”) for all of his amazing work. Even if you are not looking for a Mazda, go see Russell at Germain Mazda of Columbus. He will take incredible care of you and if Germain has the brand in their ownership, Russell will ensure you get what you want.My boyfriend decided he wanted a Subaru Outback, however the service at Beyers Subaru (both airport and Dublin) were awful. However, Russell found exactly what he wanted, drove across town to Germain Subaru in Grovecity on Sunday (his day off) & browns vs Steelers game, and got an incredible deal.The finance gentleman even mentioned the paperwork wouldn’t take long because we are Russell’s customers and Russell’s customers are given extra care.Besides the deal itself, Russell is great at reaching each customer on their level and exactly what they need to be sold. He spoke car to my boyfriend and even taught him a few things he wasn’t aware. He also set His technology up prior to driving off the lot and even sent the car back twice to get detailed as it wasn’t to Russell’s standards. When he still saw a small smudge, Russell polished it himself.But I also have to mention how great he was with my mother who had gone to look at a Mazda CX-9 prior to my boyfriends experience. He was able to change his entire salesmanship to meet my mom who is not a car person and even after all of her years of buying cars, she mentioned he is the best she has EVER experienced. The service was very efficient. My cars issues were fixed immediately. The entire team was very kind, especially Amy. She walked me through my options and did everything she could to make sure I had the best customer service experience.The waiting area is also very comfortable and accommodating. Its stocked with plenty of phone chargers, which came in handy. I was able to set up shop at a table and work from the lobby.

Mazda Mike. The only car sales associate I have interacted with and not felt like I was being taken advantage of. He leased my boyfriend a car in January and made the process fairly easy. We looked for several months at SUVs but kept coming back to the Mazda CX-5. We had looked at another Mazda dealership but were not impressed with the sales people and left. We went to Germain Mazda after looking online at their reviews and talking to people at work that owned Mazdas that they bought at Germain. The folks at Germain Mazda were so accommodating to us when we stopped by just to ask questions after our initial test drive. They understood we were looking at all suvs in our price range and were never pushy about making a decision right then and there. After several visits to the dealership I took an extended drive and my husband took one a few days later. We made our decision to get the CX-5 and only deal with Germain Mazda. Greg Welter ended up being our sales consultant. He is a wonderfully polite and knowable person to work with. When he wasnt available Mike Worthington would step in to help us and answer any questions. Both are a credit to Germain Mazda.They had to find an Grand Touring Eternal Blue Mica w/premium package for us and sales manager Tim Nilsen found us one in no time and it was delivered in a few days. Damon Shorterage the finance manager had us in and done with the paperwork in no time. Greg Welter really went above and beyond by spending so much time with us explaining everything in the car at delivery. I have never had a salesperson spend that much time and tell me to call, text or stop by anytime if we had any questions. We have found the Germain Mazda dealership to have a very friendly family feel. Everyone works well with one another and makes the customer feel like family.Sonny Sosniak the general manager can be proud of his employees. Needed service, some misc. parts (floor mats, front license plate bracket, etc.) and a local home for a used Mazda I had purchased out of state, wanted to give Germain 1st try given their local reputation and representation. Have had experience with the other big name in town on the Ford side of their business, and just never felt my business really mattered.On the parts side Justin was great, very knowledgeable and informative. I would prefer to support local businesses and he worked with me to get with in a few dollars of total online prices (cost + shipping) being very fair, and his knowledge has value also.I had scheduled my service appointment online (really like this service/feature) and Jim greeted me by first name as I stepped out of my car. Had a small electrical problem (previous car owner, not Germains or Mazdas fault) which was diagnosed and corrected same day allowing me to pick up my car that evening for a cost I felt was reasonable. Included was their Mazda Full Circle Inspection at no additional charge, as I had recently purchased this car used and my son will be driving mostly, really appreciated this and the feedback on the car.Only disappointment is they forgot to install the front plate bracket, not a big deal as they were not charging me for it and have done it before (dont you hate drilling into a perfectly good bumper to hang a ugly tag on it just so there is an aiming point for the speed check :), just felt great about the offer and extra service and disappointed with the execution.Summary: Everyone I encountered, email, phone, & in person was friendly, seemed to be enjoying what they do, and genuinely happy that I was in the dealership. Very pleased with the service department professionalism, cleanliness, and work on the important aspects of why the car was there (electrical & safety). Prices were reasonable, competitive, and in line with wanting to earn my business for the long term. I will most certainly go back and recommend this dealership, service, and parts department top others.

Germain Mazdas Service department earned my trust yesterday. Ive had good experiences with the Service and Parts departments in the past, but the Service department misdiagnosed my battery life and recommended a new $216 battery. I learned from a visit to Valvoline that my battery was absolutely perfect. After speaking with Roccie, the Germain Mazda Service Manager, I truly believe this was an unintentional mistake. Roccie apologized for the mistake and said he would look into why the battery charge level was incorrect. He also comped two synthetic oil changes for me. Hats off to Germain for making it right.

I first bought a Mazda when the dealership was working out of a trailer...before the building was built. Since then I have purchased several cars and have always been happy with the process. The sales people are helpful but low pressure. Terry Johnson is who I worked with recently and he was great. I love my new Mazda 6. I love the skyactiv engine, the quietness of the 6 and the features included even on the sport model. I first contacted the dealership through an on line inquiry. From there to the appointment for a test drive, to driving the new Mazda home everything went perfectly. Ryan was great. He is the reason that I drove a new Mazda home from this dealership. The test drive went very well, and while we worked on the documents the car was detailed inside and out, and given a full tank of gas. The car is magnificent. Once again I found it a pleasure to work with the service department. Went to Mazda looking for a car that I saw online. When I got there I was greeted by Kendell. He showed me some similar cars to the one I had picked out as unfortunately I was a little too late and the one I liked sold. Kendell helped me look through the inventory and had no problem whatsoever answering any of our questions. If he didn’t know an answer, he promptly found someone that could. I was honest with him about my budget, and he never tried to pressure me into something I wasn’t financially prepared for. Which, is so refreshing as a girl shopping for a car. I test drove a couple of cars, a used one and another one of which was a new 2018 Mazda3, the newer version of the original used car I had been looking at. I ended up driving away in that new car as they considered my budget and made it happen for me. I was genuinely and happily surprised by the courtesy of this dealership. Everyone, from the Finance Manager to the guy who put plates on my new car, were incredibly professional and did not pressure me whatsoever. They followed up with me, and made sure I was doing well. They explained everything very clearly. I work in customer service everyday and I can really say that these guys know what their doing to make you feel welcome. Thank you!

My wife and I went to Germain Mazda to consider leasing a new Mazda. We were immediately greeted by Kendell Bowers. Kendell was very helpful and informative providing all the answers to our questions in a relaxed manner. We never once felt as though we were being pressured into making a purchase. Ultimately, Kendell found us the exact vehicle we wanted at a great price! It has been over a month since we took delivery of our vehicle and could not be happier with our purchase.

The staff were very helpful and courteous. I went in because of car speaker rattle issues. They apparently didnt find anything when they diagnosed it, but gave me new speakers anyway and it was covered under the warranty of the car. The waiting area is clean with coffee, water, wifi etc. Happy with the experience.

I had a fantastic, friendly, informative and non-pressure experience working with Russell Wilson at Germain Mazda. My new Mazda3 5door has all the safety features I need to drive more safely on interstates. It is fluid and peppy when accelerating or slowing down. It corners beautifully without swinging me about in the seat. The computerized services are easy to use and operate. Just ask and it does! Thank you for this affordable luxurious engineering. If only there was a 10 star rating! I had owned a 2016 Mazda CX5 that I loved. I did NOT however love the dealership that I had gotten it from. I only had that CX5 for four months when I was hit and it was a total loss. I had an open loan on that suv that insurance is going to close. I had no idea where to start to replace it but only had 4 days left with my rental car. My credit has taken a hit from the previous loan and of course life! I saw a similar CX5 on Germains website and thought maybe Id just reach out. Carlos Whye returned my e-mail. And let me just repeat that name CARLOS WHYE! He followed up with me and I honestly felt I better just not try right now and figure out something else. I was honest with Carlos and he said he could do a soft check of my credit and see if he could help me. He suggested an appointment to come in and see the options I might have. I am thankful I did. Carlos took his time with me. SIX hours to be exact because I needed all options and test drove as well. Insert CHRISTOPHER ANDREAS......the man about the money, the financial manager who worked every angle possible for me! They both knew my situation, knew what I could do, and worked to get as close to what I asked for as possible. Carlos listened to me, never once pressured me and made suggestions when I needed them. Chris never gave up and made me feel like I was no problem even though I know he went above and beyond. I ended up going with a brand new Mazda CX5 Grand Touring with every bell and whistle. The main reason I picked it, is because it has vented front seats and I have a rare heat allergy that makes being in a car a struggle during sunny days! The cooling seat is perfect to combat that! I have never had a more pleasant experience buying a car. I left Germain Mazda feeling excited that I had such a great experience with both Carlos and Chris. It was even better that both of them at separate times expressed how happy they are working for Germain! I finally found a dealership I will stick with. I will never own anything but a Mazda and now I wont go anywhere but to Germain Mazda of Columbus. NOW fingers crossed when I need it again Chris and Carlos will be there! If you need a duo that rocks it out and keeps it real and honest get to Germain and ask for Carlos and hopefully Chris is behind the scenes for you! Dont worry you get to meet him when your needs are met and he was successful! The only sad thing to report is my CX5 didnt come with an owners manual! I should have realized that before I left BUT my husband contacted Carlos and he is mailing one to us. Even after the purchase he is on top of it.

I had an outstanding experience buying my latest new (used) car from Germain Mazda. I had initially called the dealership to ask questions about a specific car I found online. I had the pleasure of talking to salesman Terry Johnson. He answered my questions quickly and efficiently so I decided to make the trip in to meet with Terry and see the car. The entire buying experience was smooth and stress free. Terry was down to earth and very professional. The car I purchased was traded in just a day or two earlier and the dealership was given only one key. When I asked about the second key, they told me they would take a look and get back to me. Terry followed up quickly letting me know that they were unable to come up with a second key from the seller. Terry and Germain Mazda went the extra mile to have a second key made for me. To be honest, it was a shock! In this day and age of generally poor customer service, I expected that because the purchase was complete, I would be stuck having to purchase a second key myself. Terry Johnson and Germain Mazda will be MY dealership going forward. They made me feel like part of their family and I appreciate that very much!

Very disappointing. I went in today 12/26/2019 looking for a mazda 3. The salesperson was great. She was very helpful and great to work with. The car was what we expected and we were ready to buy. We were attempting to trade in our van and thats where it all went wrong. The offer was like a slap in the face Three thousand dollars less than other places we shopped. Couple that with the fact they were wanting more than fair market value. Needless to say I will never shop a germain store again. We stopped at another dealer on our way home got a great deal and 3 grand more for our trade and drove home in a new 2020.

Ive always had great experiences with the service department of the dealership! Even when I had a not-so-great experience, they made sure to address it and make it right. The waiting room is comfortable and I like that they explain everything theyre doing. What I really enjoy is that they remember you. I feel like a valued customer when I take my vehicle to Germain! I went in over the weekend not expecting to drive home in a new vehicle. Kendall greeted me in the lot and answered all of the questions that I had. We test drove a new Mazda3 and got to know each other a little bit. Kendall went above & beyond what Ive ever experienced at a car dealership! He was knowledgeable and attentive, but at the same time, I didnt feel pressured. I am now on my 3rd Mazda vehicle and dont plan to shop anywhere other than Germain in the future. Thanks Kendall!
