Great place! Very knowledgeable but laid back people working there. The new owner Chris is great! Had a muffler put on and a week later the pipe going to muffler broke. They replaced it at no extra charge. When Im ready definitely having them install my dual exhaust system.

I brought my truck in for a muffler and a tail pipe and the guys quoted me a fair price. Couldn’t bring it in first thing in the morning but was able to drop it off in the afternoon the next day. Dropped it off at about 3:30 and he said he’d have it back by 6:00. It was done and ready to go by 5:45. These guys are professional with a fair price. I will be returning my business to them in the future. Thanks guys.

I went in for an exhaust problem that the dealership couldn’t pin point. I got there early before they opened, they told me it would be a while before it could be looked at (I expected as much) but I was in and out. He found the problem fixed it and had me on my way. The price was reasonable. And I was grateful. Both staff personnel were kind and professional.

I needed a quick fix because one of my exhaust hangers broke off on a long distance trip. Chris and the guys were able to get me fixed up in about 30 minutes flat and stuck close with the price that I was quoted over the phone. They even straightened both exhaust tips to the bumper better than they were in the first place. Any time Im in the area, Ill definitely go to them first!

This should be the only shop you take your vehicle. Chris and his crew were super accommodating and so knowledgeable. They were absolutely professional and treated me like a regular. If they can’t do what you need at their shop Chris knows exactly where you can get the work done. This is an excellent shop and you will not find a better shop in the state. Do not waste your money at a place that won’t do the job correctly, go to Columbus Custom Exhaust and get the job done right.

Went in to connect my 4” downpipe to the rest of my 5” exhaust which a lot of shops don’t like doing as it’s a large size; but I went in and spoke with Chris and he had it done, same day, in a few hours! Good quality and great pricing.

Installed a custom X-pipe after many months of communicating and coming up with a plan. Dropped the car off at 930am and was done by 2pm. They even installed a aftermarket chassis brace upon request. Highly recommend this business.

I was told that my 2000 Lincoln Navigator was not starting because my battery and terminals were bad and corroded. I paid $291.34 for this repair. I went to Walmart the next day and the truck had the same issue. I was assured by Chris, the owner, that my truck alternator was in perfect working condition and there were no other problems. Upon exiting Walmart the VERY NEXT DAY, my truck was again not starting. It was making the same clicking noise as before that I specifically asked Chris to look into. A new mechanic stated that my battery that was removed was still under warranty and that couldn’t have been the issue. The issue is my Cylinoid. When I called Chris the following business day, he pretty much brushed me off and offered no type of resolution. This is actually the second time this has happened. I trusted him again off the strength of my stepfather who had vouched for him at the time. Previously, he performed additional work on my vehicle without even contacting me beforehand which of course raised the initial price I was given and had prepared for. This shop is not recommended by me or my family members. If you do not want to be swindled, or you need something major don, please AVOID this shop at all costs!!!

This was the best service I’ve ever had at an auto shop. Chris worked with me directly and talked me through everything he was going to while explaining why he was going to do something. Very knowledgeable person and quick with service. He was able to install a new exhaust system and do a muffler delete on my truck. Truck runs smooth and sounds amazing. Took my truck to them to fix exhaust leak after having another company straight pipe my truck.. custom exhaust found a number off errors made by the other company. Had one bent rim on my vehicle they repaired and made it a true balanced alloy wheel after. Then bought four new tires (Arroyo 225x45ZR17 $75 ea.) Through CCE all done for $480. Those top A rated quality 50,000 mile rated tires are worth about $195 ea. Great service great prices cant be beat if youre in Columbus or Phenix City any surrounding area.

When I say I walked through the door thinking at a minimum the cost was going to be be anywhere between 500 - 2500 dollars to fix the rattle/leak on my Lexus GS Fs exhaust. However an hour after dropping it off I get a phone call saying your good to go and just pay me wayyyy wayyyy less then what you were expecting. If i could give more than five stars I would. Staff is super professional as well!!!!!

Needed rim repair on my C7 Corvette. Was going to purchase new rims due to a small hairline fracture on one rim that was causing a leak in tire pressure. Other businesses told me to just get new rims...however, Id have to order due to offset of my C7.Instead, read the great reviews on here about this business and Chris and his staff.Glad I did. On time delivery, (dropped it off by 8am, told me it would be ready by 3pm) and the price was unbeatable. Flowmasters for the win. Gave my old truck a new sound & back to life. Chris is the MAD SCIENTIST. I was thinking a few days until I got my car back....SAME DAY my friends. Awesome work by everyone at CCE. I will be bringing my ride back for more work. The CCE sticker is on the back window to let folks know.

I needed wide band O2 sensors installed in the header pipe of my Harley, CCE got me back on the road the same day I dropped the exhaust off on a weekend so I could still get some riding in. This is the only exhaust shop I will recommend.

So far the rim repair has held up. No leaking air, thank goodness.Chris did a fantastic job repairing the rim damage that caused the air leak.He definitely cares about his clients and the representation of his business.I have no problems recommending his services to friends and family.

Took my bmw 550i here to do a muffler delete and I love the results. The staff was very helpful and answered all the questions I had. They were very knowledgeable and great at what they do. I will defiantly be bringing my car here from now on.

This place is awesome, I had a bent rim awhile back from hitting a curb and they fixed it for me. They are very friendly and very honest. Excellent customer service, Chris and Rebecca are very trustworthy. I saved me alot of money. Any rim issue, bent or crack rim just bring it straight here and dont bother going to anywhere else and waste your time, because no other place in Columbus fix bent and crack rims.

When I tell you that they treated me right and did an awesome job...That might just be an understatement. I brought my truck here after having the exhaust done at another shop here in Columbus. I wont call the shop or person that did my exhaust out by name but you know who you are. The team at Columbus Custom Exhaust completely redid my exhaust from front to rear. The exhaust looks and sounds amazing. I am finally able to put my vehicle on the dyno and have it tuned, since it has no exhaust leaks from poor welds and Im proper installation. Dont do like I did and think your getting a great deal from another shop. Spend the money and have it done right the first time. Thank you Columbus Custom Exhaust for the awesome job.

Took my Expedition here for what I thought needed a muffler repair (from hearing a grinding noise), only to find out that there were a couple of screws loose in my exhaust manifold. The noise is gone, & car is driving great! Simple, effective PROFESSIONAL repair! I highly encourage everyone to stop by here FIRST when you think your car needs tending to! You will not regret it!

Chris was absolutely amazing in helping me. I had a split in a muffler pipe causing the entire thing to hang down from my car. He explained the problems to me and ran me through what it would take to fix it and the average costs. He than proceeded to remove the broken segments to avoid any interim damage till i can bring it in for a full repair to make it road safe in the meantime. He went absolutely above and beyond in helping me. Was a place that was the definition of customer service why i really appreciate.

I visited Custom Auto after another shop wanted to replace my entire exhaust for $1000. At Custom, they identified the problem literally within 15 seconds after sliding under the car.They laid out that I only had loose bolts and needed new gaskets, gave me a price and time needed to complete with a 5 minute conversation.Custom exhaust saved me 85%...seriously unbelievable. True professionals and extremely accomodating.

First and Foremost I want to thank Chris for putting up with my car and I. I asked a million questions and my car decided not to play nice. All work was performed as expected and even had some unexpected issues arise that Chris handled very well. I was given a very reasonable and honest qoute from the first time I called. Based on my one experience with this shop, they did great work for a decent price. I needed some welding done on my Jeep and the staff was friendly, helpful and they got the work done quickly. The finished product looks very sturdy and professionally done. They didnt just weld it back together; they put bracing metal across the weld to ensure it doesnt break again. I would definitely come back for future exhaust work or general welding. Highly recommended!

Straightforward and honest! Chose this mechanic due to the Google reviews. Came in with what I thought was a broken A/C. They took a look and let me know there was nothing wrong with my system. Could have easily charged me an arm and a leg for a repair. I will go here for all my auto needs now due to that simple act of integrity.

These people are very unprofessional and dont know how to run a business. One of the mechanics gave me a deer in the headlight look when I initially asked to have my glass pack mufflers replaced with something quiter. He seemed like he wasnt knowledgeable. Being that I was the first customer, he brought two vehicles in before mine. I got my keys and left. Dont waste your time with this place

I had been to 5 different shops in my local area before I called him. I took it to his shop and he had my truck fixed in less that 10 minutes. Very no nonsense and to the point, he will not waste your time or money! Well worth the drive, he will be my first call next time.

The early part of this year I was having some problems with my Catalytic converter on my Chrysler 300C brought it in to Columbus Custom Exhaust they had to order the part and I had to prepay for that part. The part came in a day after and they were able to fix my car with this new catalytic converter for a reasonable price. Yesterday, 26 Jul 19, I was having problems with my O2 sensor in my Chrysler. I dropped my car off they fix the problem again for a very reasonable price. Columbus Custom Exhaust is a team of professionals in my book. From the time I walked in the door and left out the customer service I received was superb, along with the service and price. Im going to recommend Columbus Custom Exhaust to all my friends. I came in the other day to have my cracked and bent wheel fixed. The guys here got to me shortly after arriving and made sure to jack my car up in it’s specific jacking point as Corvettes are jacked up differently. The owner took me out back and explained the problems with the wheel and explained how he was going to fix it. They fixed the wheel quickly and didn’t charge an absurd amount. It was a very pleasant experience coming here and will absolutely recommend it to my friends!

Jimmy and staff were very courteous, timely, and after they were through you wouldnt be able to tell the spot where my room was bent. I would recommend this shop to anyone, not just for fixing of rims but for anything automotive. They are very knowledgeable and will do you right, which is rare nowadays. This has been my go to shop. We originally received a quote of almost $2000 to replace an exhaust. Went here and they were able to weld the piece for $150. Thats was almost 2 years ago. Still no exhaust issues. I appreciate a honest repair facility that will not try to take advantage of people. Brakes. Radiators. Struts. Im going to Columbus Custom Exhaust!

One time I had some exhaust work done on a Sat. that turned out great. The on Sun. I got in a bind with another project and Jimmy just happened to be at his shop. Other than the job he did for me the day before he didnt know me from atom. I asked him for help knowing full well that I had no reason to deserve it but he was happy to give it anyway. Since then he has become one of my best friends in life. Great place to do business and a great guy to know.

After reading all the great reviews on here building up this shops reputation for being straightforward and friendly, I asked my wife to take my truck here to get work done before I came back from my deployment. We had a great experience! They showed her a few options, but never tried to upsell her or BS her. They knew we were in no hurry, but got the work done in two days, for far less than we thought it might cost. They have earned another long-term customer.
