As a family of six, we depend on our one vehicle a lot. Maybe we don’t get it fixed up as often as we should but when we can afford it, we expect the repair shops to be honest and replace the parts as they see fit.Well when we came this shop, my husband and I put our trust into them and they disappointed us immensely. When we took it in for a diagnostic we let them know about three sounds coming from the tire area and when they “repaired it” we still had those same three sounds plus a new squeaking one. The way our schedules are set up, makes it hard for us to take the van back right away. Now that we’ve found a different shop, we’ve been told that it seemed to be a junk replacement and not a brand new one. Mind you, the guys at this shop told us exactly what parts we would need and we bought them from the auto parts store and dropped the parts off with the vehicle.As you can see in the picture, that is not a brand new part rusted like that. It has only been a few weeks since we got it back. Very disappointing. They basically told us to buy them new parts and put whatever they already had on our vehicle. They saved the new parts for themselves. That’s really unfair and after the crazy year we all just had, its unacceptable to treat a family vehicle this way.

Wow. Only thing I can say about this place is that every single person from top to bottom just cares - including the owners. They welcome you in and treat you like family. They’re straight with you and tell it as it is - but very fair. Customer service is not being a robot and reading off a script. Customer service is about being a person. These guys killed it. They did a full custom exhaust system on my new truck and did a brilliant job. Bring your car there for anything, not just exhaust or brakes - they’ve got you. Customer for life!

I was referred here by a friend. After getting an oil change at Tire Choice on E.Livingston they told me I needed back brakes and rotors, 2 new tires and other stuff totaling over $600. I declined because I wanted to shop around. I called Buckeye muffler as referred by a friend who has gone to them for years. They had the best price. So I dropped my car off and about 20 minutes later they called me and asked if I was sure Tire Choice said needed pads and rotors because their was absolutely NOTHING WRONG with the ones I had. There was plenty of life left in my brake pads and my rotors were fine. They double checked my front ones just to make sure I wasnt mistaken and those were also fine. The lady who helped me said there was no way she was gonna perform a service that I didnt really need unless I told her to. So not only did they have the best price they were HONEST!!! I definitely couldve been taken advantage of because I dont know anything about any of that stuff. They have a customer for life. If anything is wrong with my car I will definitely take it there. And I will most definitely refer anyone who needs work done to check them out. They are full service they do everything except oil changes and tires.

The repair was done but it wasnt a repair I asked for. I was given an upsell from what I asked for and only received the work that they suggested which didnt fix the problem they decided to work on with my money. The lady at the desk doesnt listen to what you want she only listens to herself and lies about recording the office interaction but wont play the video that proves her wrong! Im looking into legal action against this company.

I had decided to look into getting a new muffler for my 2016 Silverado.I checked the reviews on Buckeye Muffler and decided to give them a shot.I was very happy that I did!The entire staff went above and beyond to help me!I met Rich, the owner, and struck up a conversation with him as my truck got taken careThe young woman behind the desk was funny and very helpful!The whole experience was great and the work was top notch!

I looked online for muffler replacement and I am so happy this place popped up. Sheri from the front desk answered all my questions, gave me an estimate for what I needed (which was hundreds less than previously quoted) and within 2 hours, I was back home with a new muffler. They were also very cautious with the 6 foot distance, cleaning the waiting room and had me drive my own car into/out of the bay so I didnt have to have someone else touching my seat/steering wheel. Excellent customer service!

Terrible . I was told my coolant reservoir needed to be replaced in order to see why my car was over heating FALSE ! Paid $300 for collant reservoir replacement and it didn’t fix the problem at all . My engine had a crack in it . Idiots just wanted to waste somebody’s time and take my money. Would not recommend

Previously I said the staff was great and I felt comfortable leaving my car in their care. It looks like since the guy who used to work on my car left, that has all changed. I paid a severe cost for service that after 2 weeks at their shop still didnt address the reason I took it in and left it in worse shape than it started in. Instead of offering a percentage of my money back for not knowing how to fix my car and making it worse, I was asked to pay more for a solution that still wasnt guaranteed. Had to have my car towed from their shop. I thought we had a good relationship but it turns out its all just business

Well first it was a terrible experience the lady lied about the price then I asked could I see my old parts she said I was asking for to much she wants you to take her word for there work no I want to see the work so she said I was talking bad to her so her workers didnt want to do it.Bad service dont let them rip you off.They dont deserve a star.

I arrived to get an estimate for exhaust work and while they were busy (that is a good sign!), after a bit I not only recd an estimate (I was pleased with the price) they had the availability to do the work right then (quick and effective).

Absolutely awesome, was mislead by the 3 businesses i took my vehicle to before making a stop here, got my exhaust fixed for a third of the price, and some really good conversation while i waited for it to be completed. (approx 30-45 min.) You guys are awesome, and Im glad to have stayed local to get this repaired, thank you!

They did a great job on my brake lines they even stayed late 2 hours over to get the job done that night. Im a big skeptic when it comes to mechanics I have trust issues. But Sherry persevered and prove to me that they were worthy of doing a great job. I had went down the street to a cheaper place but the quality of work wasnt good, the mechanics were inexperienced, and they took too long to do the work even though they were cheaper but Im a firm believer in value over price so a little bit more but the work was superb thank you Sherry and Buckeye Muffler and Brake for a great job well done

They were not honest about what they did to my car they diagnose my car told me what was wrong with it I argued with them to make sure it was the problem and she said it was I had to hire an attorney because this has been going for almost two weeks they have my car and will not release it trying to charge me $980 and says my car will not run she have called and told me three different things. And all three things is false shes kept saying I want my $980 I will be spending more money with the attorney going to court then what the van is worth and refuse to let me talk to the owner or release his number. This is just part of the problem Im having with her

Ive never been to a place with such honest people. The transparency from start to finish was unparalleled to any previous experience Ive ever had. They allowed me to look at the issues with them so that i knew that everything they were doing was necessary. They were knowledgeable, quick, and provided quality work for a quote that was well below what i had mentally prepared myself to pay. I will be back and i highly recommend them to anyone having muffler/exhaust related issues.

Took my old land rover in to have some work done, and the tech had me sorted in u Der an hour! Patched a few sections of exhaust and did an outstanding job!

Buckeye Muffler was able to just fix the hole instead of replace the exhaust so the cost was almost nothing there also one of the few shops that actually do welding. They are good people who know their business. Ill definitely go back for a 3rd visit when needed!

I feel very comfortable with the staff—they are respectful (not necessarily 100% “professional” but I don’t mind a little joking around) and always make me feel like they care about me and my car. Very quick service too. Once I needed an oil change before a road trip. Sherri was able to squeeze me in to an already jam packed Saturday, and it was cheaper than any oil change I’ve gotten anywhere else.

We took my husbands car in for repairs on a loud muffler. They drove the car on the lift and it rides low scraped the entire bottom it sounded horrible then joked not my car. They looked over the car and said the repairs would cost $174.00. We paid and they lowered the car started it sounded exactly the same they lifted the car added some kinda putty and lowered the car again. We left very unhappy but hopeful within a week the car was exactly the same we went back they told us it would be another $250.00 and they could not be sure it would fix it. We refused to let them do anything else to the car. They were rude and unprofessional the woman at the counter may be the most unprofessional person I have encountered thus far. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. We had a mechanic tell us NEVER to go there but against better advice we tried it anyways. Big mistake and waste of money as we had to go to a another shop and actually have the car fixed. Basically gave them money for NOTHING. SAVE YOUR MONEY DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

WENT TO ANOTHER MUFFLER SHOP AND GOT A QUOTE TO GET A NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM AND THEY QUOTED ME 749. DOLLARS. MY COUSIN SENT ME TO BUCKEYE AND THEY DID THE WHOLE SYSTEM IN 2 HOURS AND CHARGED ME 450. PLUS TAX. THE SYSTEM IS WONDERFUL AND I GET MUCH BETTER GAS MILEAGE THAN I HAD PRIOR.

This place is a joke. They only care how rub a money. I took my car was a engine mount problem and they told me to change the whole muffler and after they changed the muffler my car is messed up. Gas consumed and other noises. Please dont go to this place.

So excited, we took our car to a transmission shop and they said it would need a new transmission ($2000). A friend said go to Buckeye and see what they say.Well i decided to give it a shot, and all I needed was a converter ($300).Great service, awesome work and very happy customers!!!

They are so sweet and very affordable. They are helpful in letting you know everything that is wrong, but distinguishing what needs to be fixed right away. Best part you get a warranty for almost everything and they really do abide by them!

Rick at Buckeye Muffler earned our trust when he told us all we needed was a clamp to hold our muffler up and not a new one like another shop told my wife that we needed.He has always been honest with us over the years that we have gone to him for a variety of repairs. We are customers for life.He has kept our cars running long after they should have gone to the junk yard. (one van is over 250K miles while another is almost 300K miles and they are not desiels)I have referred many friends and family to them for whatever is wrong with their cars.I know I can count on Rick to be fair and honest with them, too! He is one of a kind!!!

Took car to shop for roters diconnected ignition coil & broke latch on gas tank preventing door from closing,running fine when i arrived. Car was misfiring when i left, had to open hood to reconnect engine coilStrongly feel there staff is a white supremacist organization. Who raises there prices after first quote by 20 dollors.

The best Muffler repair shop in columbus. They are honest courteous and get the job done. Never go to hadar on 5th and corregated avenue. They are arabs and mean and over priced. They were vgoing to charge me 300 to fix my muffler and 300 for a tune up. They wouldnt greet me and i had to call them while in the shop to get someone to acknowledge i was even there.

I had a noisy muffler and called them. They suggested that I might not need a muffler but only a repair. I brought it in and they looked at it. I did in fact have a hole in the muffler. They replaced it and I was out within an hour. The pricing was quite competitive, less than I had been quoted elsewhere. I found them professional and efficient.

270 bucks for a o2 sensor literally took them 15 minutes if that. Then to make matters worse engine light comes back on and says o2 sensor same one and 2 bad Catalyst converters. I asked and begged to have the o2 sensor replaced before dumping 2000 for converters and they said no. 15 minutes of work with a repeat customer was and they wouldnt stand by their warranty never again

I came in they checked my vehicle told me the issue and quoted me a price. The work was done in under an hour and I was pleased... up until I went back to pick up my vehicle and the charge was more than double what they had originally quoted me. I feel like he was being willfully deceitful in not quoting me an exact price, which is what i specifically asked for. HOW MUCH IN TOTAL were my exact words. And then to charge two hours labor for something that took less than an hour to repair is completely unfair as well. The shop is fine, the waiting area clean and they do good work, but I cant give a positive review based on the way I feel that I was deceived, with no remorse for the so called misunderstandingMidas is right across the street. I could have gone there if I wanted to be bent over....
