The buying experience here from online to on site was virtually flawless. I did have to play the game to get a fair price for my trade which is to be expected. But overall the buying experience was awesome. As with any used vehicle there are some things that you find that are acceptable as is. Other things are not. So before committing to the vehicle I made it clear that I would need in writing, that my ac would need to be working properly. It seemed to be a matter of an actuator preventing air flow on the drivers side. It was agreed upon. Throughout the next few weeks I had to arrange for a time convenient for the service department to check things out, being that I am not local. Once a day was set I arrived very early and to my surprise the service dept was unaware that I would be coming. Now, Im starting to feel like my business no longer matters. I waited for approximately 4 hours before being told that it would likely need to be taken to the Chevy dealership to be repaired. Another option was finding someone to repair on my own at their expense (under $300). Id already wasted half a day, I opted to simply leave the truck there so that the process could begin promptly. Weekend and holiday aside, I need to be updated regularly on the status of my vehicle. I cannot take off work or leave work without prior notice. I feel there is great lacking in the service dept and even more so in the communication from salesman to service dept ONCE THE SALE IS MADE. It has now been 6 days, 3 full business days and as of right now my 3 star rating stands. No rental offered. Will update again in a few days.UPDATE:Rivertown Ford was extremely prompt in acknowledging all of my concerns that I had and equally prompt in resolving them. As promised, I would amend my rating and review based on my satisfaction of their service and I must say that I stand corrected. Sometimes a little communication goes a long ways. Special thanks salesman Assad Lowe and General Manager Bradley Williams for ensuring things went smoothly. 5 stars!

Called since the beginning of a recall during the summer. Service tech told me a manager would be contacting me about the recall, scheduling, and when the parts would be in. I never received a call. I would call every two weeks for months and would tell them to put a manager on the phone so we can get my truck recall taken care of. I told them I never would receive a call that I needed my truck scheduled. Finally after a few months I called again and they were able to schedule me in for a recall. Took it in at 11:15am received a call around 1430 letting me know my truck was ready. Quick fix on the recalls. I’m giving three stars because I was told multiple times I would receive a call by close of business for several weeks and never received one.Edit: reached out to the general manager who posted below on my comment. Emailed my phone number and still no response

Have bought multiple vehicles from Rivertown Ford over the years. Last 2 experiences have been with Connor. He sold me a 2014 Ford F-150, 5 years ago. Called him to help me get some parts a month ago and he told me about some great Ford promotions on brand new trucks. So I bit! Looked at the numbers, deal looked good, but there was nothing wrong with my truck so I walked away. Then a couple days ago, get a text from Connor, he has the truck in the right color, better package and even better numbers! Connor is not pushy, but he knows what his long term customers want and knows how to close a deal! Even Steve in finance did the paperwork with me 5 years ago did this vehicle, too. Nice to have familiar faces when making major decisions. Very smooth transaction from beginning to end.
Mark was my service representative when I took my truck in for services yesterday. He ensured all my requested services were taken care off and even helped me take care of some additional things that I didnt know were out of tolerance. His number one priority was ensuring my vehicle was safe and in optimal performance. He even stayed late to ensure I had my truck for work the next day! Professional, courteous, and kind, he is what a service department should want for a service representative! I will certainly return to Rivertown for all my future vehicle needs!
My Dad took his mustang here servicing and got his car back with a scratch on the bumper and now his check engine light is on. He called to let them know about the issue. Nobody answered his calls so he ended up having to go up there daily. They eventually repaired the scratch. Now he has an issue with the check engine lights which he did not have until he took his car here.The check engine issue is being repaired by another repair shop. Do NOT take your car here for maintenance or repairs!!!!

I call Mark Pearce back in June about a truck he said they did not have any F250s. He promptly said that we could go to the Ford web site and pick out what I wanted and put in an order and we did.On 7-8-21 I got a confirmation that my order for a 2022 F250 had been confirmed. Then on 7-20-21 I got an email saying that it would be built the week of 8-23-21. Then on 8-26-21 I got an email that my F250 was built and would be shipped that week… Wow how impressive and easy was my FIRST Ford vehicle purchase. September 2nd my truck arrived and man do I love my Ford F-250.Thanks to Mark and Tommy this was a supper smooth and easy deal. I am sold on Rivertown Ford’s whole team.. Last night my car wouldn’t start. We tried jumping it, no luck. So we had it towed to Rivertown Ford. I tried to make an appointment online but there were none available until Thursday. First thing this morning I got a text from Taylor telling me they had received my car and would take a look at it ASAP. Around 1:00 she called me with the very reasonable estimate. I accepted the diagnosis and price and expressed that I really needed my car back tonight if at all possible. By 3:00 my car was ready for me. I can’t thank the service department enough! Tomorrow is a crazy busy day that will be much easier now that I have a working vehicle.

I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the service department and the courtesy shown to me by all of the employees I encountered. The wait time was longer than I anticipated but Tom McCain, my Service Advisor, explained the reason for the lengthy wait. He also carefully went over my receipt so that I would understand exactly what services the mechanic performed and which ones, that I had requested based on your service pamphlet, were not suitable for my vehicle. Overall, I found everything satisfactory and the price reasonable. I will definitely return!

Service was generally good. Took a week to complete but it was a major service. My only (and biggest) complaint is wait times on the phone was 10 minutes at the shortest to 40 minutes at the longest simply waiting to be connected to any service advisor. They need some help here. Or plan on having something else to do while waiting to be connected.
When I came in, I was told it would be hours before I would be see even with appointment,that I waited a week for. And was then told it may not be fixed that day if they didnt have the parts. Wow. What a way to start out visit. We waited for 2 hours got a call that a back brake and rotor job on my van would be a grand total of 940. The good news is that I have brakes for life on the back now. (But I do get to pay the service charge. )

The Service Writer (Don) was very professional. I am glad that Don was the one that waited on my granddaughter. This is the first time that my 22 year old granddaughter had to deal with something of this nature. That being said I am glad that she had a good experience which meant a lot for her in the future. My experience was great. The service associate Robbie Andujar updated me at least once a day and updated me with any changes good or bad. His positive attitude made the experience wonderful. I have an extended warranty and was prepared to spend several thousand and was shocked to see my portion of bill was little over 400.00 which included a new battery and deductible. Robbie met me on day one and remembered me and called me by my name when I walked in the door. The associate that worked on my 2017 F150 emailed me also updating me on his progress. The experience was wonderful and I look forward to River town Ford and there associates working on my truck if I have any issues.
Brought my vehicle in for work after an accident. Got a runaround from the insurance agency, the service department (who couldn’t supply information to the insurance company that was visible over the internet?) and, ultimately, the service department manager. This last person, besides ignoring me for two days in a row before I finally got me on the phone, tried to have things fixed that weren’t part of the accident, and may have been the reason the claim was rejected. Regardless, after a month in the shop and $165 in “diagnostic services” I’m now in the hook for about $2000 in repairs. Never going back and, after owning 4 Ford vehicles, never, EVER buying another Ford product.
I dropped my truck off for a recall and went ahead and got the works service. Staff was great and Robbie kept me up to speed throughout the process, including the results from my multipoint inspection. Great service and I will definitely be back.
Clay and his team were a pleasure to work with. I purchased a CPO Mustang site unseen. I am in Florida and couldnt make the trip to see the car. Norma was my sales person and she provided me with as many pictures as I asked for, down to the smallest detail. Steve took care of my financing needs and the whole team provided me with first class service. Norma even stayed after hours to wait for my transporter to pickup the car for the trip to Florida. I had an excellent experience with my service. The technician, Kenny Cook, did a superb job in processing me in and explaining what was going to take place during the service. He was very knowledgeable about my particular premium service package and what it was going to cover. He told me about how long that I would have to wait and when the service was completed, he came and got me. I was there for about a hour. If you want excellent service with a knowledgeable technician, ask for Kenny Cook.

We were looking for a very specific make/model of a used vehicle and happened to find the one we wanted in Rivertown Fords online inventory. We called, confirmed that it was still available and set up a a 3 oclock appointment to see the car, as we had to drive three hours to get there. Assad Lowe contacted us while we were traveling, got the keys and parked the car right at the dealership door so we could quickly see it and take a test drive. We drove it, decided to purchase, paid for it and we were out the door by 4:45pm! Great job by all, everyone was very happy with the outcome.

Taylor is a Super Star! I recently purchased my vehicle from CarMax. There was an outstanding recall as well as this clicking noise that I wanted a technician to look at. They quickly fixed the recall but were unable to identify the noise without further investigation. Taylor wrote a detailed report capturing all of that information which enabled me to have CarMax pay for all of it!

Rivertown Ford was amazing with not just one vehicle purchase, but two, within 4 months of each other. They made the entire transaction seamlessly easy and 100% bearable during both visits (first visit I was heavily pregnant with a tired 2 year old, and the second visit we had a cranky two year old and a newborn). Every single staff member we encountered was polite and courteous the entire time we were there, whether we were in the building or out on the lot.They were incredible with not just my husband and myself but as well as our cranky two year and our whiny newborn. The salesman are knowledgeable and not pushy like car salesman we have dealt with in the past.The finance department was able to secure wonderful rates, gave us a higher trade in on both vehicles (more than anyone else would) as well as add on packages at a low price for both vehicles. Rivertown Ford was so amazing with the purchase of our Ford Explorer that we went back 4 months later and bought an F-150.Our salesman Zach even helped me install a car seat while my husband finished the transaction. Engine light came on when driving home from work one afternoon. Took my truck to Rivertown Ford service department but unfortunately it was after hours by the time I arrived. When I went inside there were still some folks working at the service desk which were more than willing to assist me. They very easily could have told me they were closed and not accepting any more customers for the day but instead they went out of there way to take my vehicle after hours. Left my vehicle there with an appt scheduled almost a week out as they said that was the only available time they had. Long story short, I got a notification two days later that my truck was diagnosed and repaired as they were able to work it in several days before my scheduled appt. Customer service was excellent!

My wife and I were in town visiting family, and after dinner Thursday night, we saw a screw in our rear passenger side tire. Having bought our Explorer in January, I took it to the Service Department Friday morning. Crystal met me in the bay and let me know I would need a new tire, told me the price, and let me know that the tire would be in that afternoon. She couldn’t guarantee that they could fix it by close and since it appeared to be holding air and pressure fine, would I be willing to come back this morning. I arrived right after 8:00, and Crystal, Tina, and an unknown technician had the tire replaced, balanced, and everything by 9:10! Thank you for a great service experience!

UPDATE: The service manager, Scott, reached out and was concerned about my previous visit. He offered to order a new front tire at no charge and apologized for any inconvenience. I brought my vehicle in today and he had it taken care of ASAP. I’m very satisfied for the quick and friendly service from both him and Donnie.I scheduled my service appointment on a Wednesday at 9:45 AM. Nothing on the website stated that would be an appointment to speak with a service advisor. Also, after 3 1/2 hours I called to check to see about the progress on my vehicle and the person I spoke with told me they cannot give me an estimated time of when my vehicle could be picked up. (It takes about 12 to 20 minutes for your call to be answered when you called the mainline and had the option for the service department.) They didn’t even have mine being worked on when I called. Long story short, they had my SUV up until today due to the fact that the technician that was working on my car was off, they never told me that the shop was overbooked, how they couldn’t get to mine same day, and they almost forgot to patch my tire. Honestly I don’t feel safe driving my vehicle with a patched tire. I would’ve rather they replaced the tire.
It took me 2 hours and 15 minutes just for an oil change. I set up my appointment way way before and I was thinking the appointment will give you a sort of definite timing to get the service. But that was not the case. Even the smallest company will not keep you waiting for more than 2 hours for an oil change. I was thinking Ford Rivertown is big enough to setup an efficient system for their clients but I was wrong. I am very disappointed with their service. If zero star is an option I definitely select that.
Tom waited on us as soon as we got there and understood what our needs were and kept us up to date when it was ready.

They delt with the problem I was having with my car in a timely and efficient manner. I knew I couldnt miss out on the deal I would be getting at Rivertown.Got to Columbus in my rental as the sun was going down and literally test-drove the vehicle into the sunset. I was sold, but the Dealership was closing soon. Assad still made sure we closed the deal that day. Financing took less than 15 minutes. Ive always been told to haggle at dealers but asking Can you come down on that? didnt even feel appropriate as I asked because the vehicle was not only a fair price compared to the other vehicles I was considering, but a great deal in itself. They can really stand by their record of Not over-pricing for the sake of winning a negotiation.Buying this car was on of the easiest, fastest, friendliest, and fairest transactions Ive ever been a part of.Assad even coordinated having the vehicle delivered to my house (93 miles north) NEXT DAY! I would absolutely make the drive to check out their inventory again next time Im in the market and would suggest to anyone that a drive out to Rivertown from Atlanta is well worth it.

Moving from California to the Columbus area we called to make an appointment to get our vehicle serviced. This was our first time at Rivertown Ford, When we walked in, the first impression was that the facility was was very clean and well maintained. Secondly we met Maria who at first impression was very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. We immediately started talking, and laughing as if we knew her a while. We realized that she would become out service advisor and was very happy. We left our vehicle with her, and when we got home, she informed us of the status of our vehicle and when it would be ready for pickup and all this time she was very polite and very professional. She advised us that she would be off the next day when we come to pick up our vehicle. She also told us who would call us when the vehicle was ready. When we arrived we were escorted to where our vehicle was parked, they started it and handed us the key fob and asked if there were anything else they could do for us. Our experience at Rivertown Ford was amazing and look forward to the team to keep our vehicle running smoothly.

Crystal is one of the best advisers that I’ve ever dealt with. I will only use her for my truck service needs! She has always provided great service every time ! To be honest a portion of me sticks to Ford just cause of the service that she provides and performs every time!
I have worked with quite a few service representatives at Rivertown Ford in the past and have had many different experiences. With that being said, I must admit that my experiences with Ms. Maria Dowsett have, by far, been more gratifying. After having my vehicle serviced with her as my service representative, I have a complete peace of mind that my vehicle has been extensively examined and is road-worthy in every way. In fact, I told her today that I think of her as a contender because I feel that she would fight for what is right when it comes to the maintenance of my vehicle. When I drive it, I feel completely at ease without any worries of break down or mechanical failure.

Robbie was a great help. I arrived and the online app had changed my appointment to a week later. They had no appts available until then. He made sure I was able to come back the next day before my trip and got all my concerns taken care of!

Over the past five years, I’ve been unsatisfied with other Ford dealership repair services until I stopped by Rivertown Ford.Maria, the service advisor, met me and asked what repairs needed to be done. She brought me straight to the computer, told me the estimated time it would take to finish the work, and continued to update me on the process.The technician found problem and recommended repairs. There were no outrageous/ off the wall/ I found X and must be repaired recommendation.This repair was complete in a timely manner. The price reflected the work. I have never commented or recommended anything online, but I recommend the service shop.
1. At first I was happy with the service until I had left the service bay.i noticed that some items had been disconnected.There is a dashboard light left lit up and I am unable to turn it off with the switch. It is the uphill starter switch. It caught my attention when my car seemed to have play in it while driving; it scared me to death.My back up camera have been completely disconnected. It worked periodically when I backed up but now, there is no response at all.I have a break light out that needs replacing . I need that back up camera left like it was until I can have it fixed.I took my car in to have the battery replaced, and the battery sensor reset. None of these items was in this condition when my car was brought there. I know my car. I bought it off the lot with 12 miles on it. No one has made any major repairs on my SUV but Ford. I thought that I could count on you. Please correct what you took aloose.Thank you
