I have always had a positive experience dealing with Dave and the crew at Precision Tune on Victory Drive. I had a problem with my engine cutting off when idling and had been trying for over a month to get authorization from Protect my Auto, to get the work approved. Dave took 40 minutes of his busy day yesterday being put on hold numerous time to insure we got the needed approval. I would not hesitate to recommend his business for any automotive needs.

Manager was very rude to me. They are not transparent on their pricing. The price they tell you is not what you pay at checkout: I went in to change my front brake pads. They told me it will cost $169 plus tax to replace them. At checkout, the price was significantly higher than I expected, only to realize I have to pay additional BS fees. Am ok paying any fees you charge, it’s your business, but for goodness sake don’t wait until the customer is ready to check out before telling them. It’s crook business practice and unprofessional. Manger bragging that he has been doing this for a while and told me to have a good day In a rude manner. will not be coming here again.

I’ve had a great experience at precision tune every time I go in for an oil change and other mechanical issues. I’ve had issues with my car in the past and they are always willing to go the extra mile and work with me. The entire staff is very professional and friendly. Eddie has always been honest and kind hearted. They’ve even stayed open after hours for me to be able to pick up my car! Wonderful service all around. Thanks precision tune!

I had an mishap happen on the highway and pulled over here for some assistance. These guys were absolutely wonderful. Not only did they solve my issue, they did it immediately. The gentleman at the front desk was amazing and their pricing and service is more than wonderful. If I lived in this city, I would go to them as many times as I could for all my car issues.

First off I know two things about cars: put gas in them, and putting air in a tire. Any lights or weird noises - MECHANIC PLEASE! But thats scary due to people overcharging, doing other work, & just being shady. The man with the master plan David (Manager / Owner) is AMAZING! Made sure to let me know EXACTLY what was going on with my baby, how much it’ll cost outright, & even assisted with me with discounting some of the services that I needed. I started out with just the simple oil changes & now getting actual work done here. NO MORE BACKDOOR mechanics for me as long as David & his awesome crew like Chelsea (the amazing front desk woman who is super funny & pretty) not to mention the mechanics whom are making your car run as smoothly as possible are there I am a loyal customer! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH.

Got my oil changed

I took my vehicle to Precision Tune on Victory Dr to have the rear brakes & wheel cylinders changed. I came with the parts I purchased from Auto Zone brand new. When I left the brakes werent working right & the emergency brake wasnt working. The emergency brake was working well before coming to Precision Tune. I called & spoke to the manager & told him they need to pay a tow truck to bring my car back to their shop so they can fix this issue. The manager took no accountability & tried to tell me I had to pay for a tow. I was told someone will call me back. Mr. Newman never returned my call.The cops (even the cops saw that the brakes werent working) advised me to file a report for a rip off at the sheriffs department & take this company to small claims court.I didnt want any mechanics at Precision Tune touching my car again so I took my car to another shop.Apparently, the mechanics at Precision Tune didnt bleed the brakes & adjust them properly which couldve caused a deadly accident!Do NOT let Precision Tune on Victory Dr touch your vehicle. Theyll blame the new parts just because you didnt order it from them, theyll blame the driver, & everything else accept the bad job.

Checked under my car after getting an oil change and had the same dirty filter, checked the oil and it was def not new. Wont be going back.

The young lady working there was a sweetheart. It would be a one star review if not for her kind efforts. I went there for an oil change advertised as $19.90 with Georgia State tax, it should have be $21+ change. I have an older vehicle with plastic door handles so the workers have to be very careful lifting the door handle to open the car door or it will snap off. I waited for the worker to come to my car to explain this & show him how to gentle tug at the handle so not to break it off like it had been done at 2 previous tire and oil shops from them not listening. I closed and opened the door to show him how to do it and he assured me he was familiar with those door handles & he would be gentle with it. 10 mins later, he comes inside holding the door handle and saying he was gentle and it just snapped off in his hand. I put my head in my hands from frustration because he clearly didnt listen & opened it carefully as I asked. The door had been fine for over 6 months without ever breaking off. He then tells his boss that my door was already broke before he touched it. Its not broke if the handle was attached and working fine before u touched it. The man at the register whom Im guessing is the boss, then tries to ring me up for the oil change AND the adhesive glue patchj the worker put on which didnt glue my door handle back securely. I said wait, before I pay anything, he needs to fix my door. The cashier guy then says well your door was already broken. The young lady comes up front and asks what happened, and I explained and she was the only one trying to rectify the situation. The worker used some cheap glue that looks like its used for gluing paper together. The young lady asked mebme what type of glue would work & I said gorilla glue. She went & bought some and personally went out there and glued the door handle for me and apologized for the issue and even looked online to where I could buy another door handle replacement and have it put back on for $40. When the glue held up, I went inside to pay for the oil change. He rang me up for $22+ change when it was $19.90 plus tax. I asked why wasnt it $21 with the tax, he mumbled something about stuff they had to use but wouldnt specify. He shows me a work order and it was some other persons work order receipt. He then asked me what do I want to do. I only had $22 on my card to spend. He then rang me up for $21.96 and gave me the work order receipt. Nowhere on the receipt showed why it was almost $23, except them putting a $1 charge for MY DOOR HANDLE THEIR WORKER BROKE OFF, and an estimate for them to repair the door for $220. That takes a lot of nerve to charge someone for a door handle of theirs YOU BREAK OFF AND DIDNT FIX. God bless the young lady who works there because she actually fixed the door and got me out of there quicker than the men who told me to sit and wait 2 more hours for their adhesive glue to try to hold. I was told that glue they used actually takes 48 hours to actually start holding.

This place ripped me off and ruined my car. On march 20 2020 I took my car in for a simple oil change($50). The manager came back to me and told me that I had a leaking valve gasket and that oil was leaking into my spark plugs. He convinced me that the valve gasket needed to be replaced along with new spark plugs ($280). After that he said I have a misfire and I needed another part at $200. My car drove fine before and after I left it could barely drive. I took it to a real mechanic, turns out they didnt gap the spark plugs correctly at all and now I need to dump more money to replace their mistake. Precision tune auto, a complaint has been filed with the sheriffs department and Ill see you in small claims court for my refund along with the cost of the other repairs.

I went to get an oil change on Tuesday 10/29/2019 Had the coolest guy name Jay who was working the front desk to help me out. Very good and knows his knowledge when it comes to his work.

The service is great! I just wish that the time frame of waiting could be adjusted and managed in a timely manner so, that the customer is not waiting for a long period of time. Overall the service is great and the employees are very professional.

I had a screw in my tire and did not want to go through the perilous process of patching it myself. Called 3 places that couldnt get it done before closing but Precision took it 1.5 hr before closing and had it out in 45 minutes. Only cost $11 which was well worth the hassle it saved me.

They don’t even deserve one star. Went in for tune up and mechanic admitted he didn’t even do all he was supposed to do. Manager didn’t want to come when I asked to speak with him. The. They wanted to charge me extra for a piece they didn’t put on that I had already paid for. TERRIBLE used to be a good place but has gone down. Desk lady is scared to call manager. Just don’t waist your money. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CAR.

They are by far the worst I’ve ever went to first they say I didn’t pay for my oil change so I come back show them the receipt which the cost was 159 plus tax and when I come back to get my car it’s was excessive oil coming from everywhere manager Eddie didn’t want to fix the problem they caused car was just fine going in only required a simple oil change just a super bad mechanic wouldn’t recommend them to my enemy

Left my oil pan unscrewed and let all my oil leak out had this problem happen more den once I have to watch them every time they do work

Beware! I had to make an unscheduled trip out of town and decided to run by and have my car serviced before leaving. The next day my folks walked outside their house and noticed a large oil puddle under my car. I immediately got it to a service rep and, as I thought, had a significant leak from the drain plug. The tech basically said the plug was finger tight and I was lucky it did not back out over the course of my trip. No fs given job and a good way to ruin an engine.

Screwed up a simple brake pad and rotor job on my vehicle and charged me to replace brake lines that they broke in the process. Then didnt even bleed my brakes correctly. And charged me more than quoted! I would have gone back to have it done correctly but I left town that day and was afraid they would mess up my car even worse.

Scam, scam, scam. I was quoted roughly $800 for a service (loud noise from underneath car). I was told it needed a new part plus labor. I took my car to another mechanic and got it fixed for free and within 5 minutes. The car hasn’t given me any issues since then. Stay away.

My first experience were great the manager was excellent. The timing was good. The manager also went into great detail explaining to me about my car. On 1/2/2016 I went back with my other car .I got the same treatment from the manager. But the the lady at the front has bad customer service skills. Well I would say no skills at all. Please remove her. The tone of her voice were ugly she also acted like I was disturbing her.

I came here to check why my AC was making a weird noise, they checked to see what was wrong before even checking me in (which was nice). They saw the problem checked me in and fixed the issue and had me on my way. Very friendly, fast and helpful. My 2nd time there and I will always come here for my car issues from now on.

Wish I could eat this place no stars. They sell broken products and tell you they work. They’re front desk lady is very much known for ripping people off. I recommend no body go there. They won’t give you your money back if the product they sell is broken.

I went there 2 weeks ago about my oil light saying needing a oil change soon. Not to mention a truck is every 5,000 miles not 3,000. Well, I took my truck there stating no oil was present in my engine. They looked and said you right mind you I had my oil changed a month ago prior. They told me they put oil in my truck the same day I took it there about no oil being in my truck. But, somehow after a 10 min ride I get home cut the truck off and 5 min later crank it up to leave and see nothing but white smoke coming everywhere out the back. I called back to them and spoke with the manager there and told him they said they put 6 qts in my truck but never gave me a receipt for the work. I told him I don’t think y’all put oil in my truck and he stated they put oil in there he knows that hey did only because that’s what they suppose to do anyway even though he was not there to physically see them out anything in my truck. So he got mad and rude on the phone. So I called his manager name Randy and told him the same story. He then tells me to bring the truck to them to look at the engine. Now they looked at my truck that Friday and said everything was good and the oil plug, oil filter and pan was in tack. I told him y’all said you put oil in my vehicle but never gave me a receipt. I said y’all suppose to give a receipt for all work and if y’all put oil in my truck it would not ever locked up. He gets mad with me after I tell him I will call him and let him know what the dealer says. I called and told him it was not a consumption problem if they found the oil I put in my truck after y’all said y’all put 6 qts in prior but didn’t. He said your right they wouldn’t never found the I had put in the same night. He said “No your being a douche bag” because I told him I would call and tell him what they said. Now what kind of manager over that business there says that to any customer?? Stating they been in business for 43 years and be unprofessional like this!! I WILL NEVER BRING MY VEHICLE TO THEM AGAIN AND THEY FELL TO TELL ME THAT THEY WERE PUTTING SYNTHETIC BLEND VS FULL SYNTHETIC IN MY VEHICLE THE ENTIRE TIME. POOR SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM THERE!!

Went for a premium plus oil change which included my tires being rotated. I got my car back and my son and I pulled out and right back in because i felt my tire wobbling. I got out and everyone was just looking until i actually asked someone to assist me. Then they pulled the car back under to find out that my tires were not tight or secured. I talked to the manager and told him how upset i was and his response was well we fixed the problem what else do you want. That was not a little problem my child and i were put in danger by a careless technician. He told me that he didnt check the car when it was finished. I admit i got loud because I was upset but dont just expect me to be ok because you fixed it. I told him that it should have never happened and that he will never get my business again. This was not ok at all and I will be talking to corporate today.

Was just ripped off by this shop. First thing, they out the wrong oil in my car. IT SAYS WHAT OIL TO USE ON THE CAP!! Second of all, when I brought my car back after noticing it was the wrong oil on the receipt, they said they would fix it, but they did nothing. I guess they didnt know that my car tells me the exact details of the oil in my car. It said they had not changed it and it was not at 100%. Complete ripoff and they do not care about their customers at all. I guess you dont even get what you pay for here. Trash

I was over charged for work that was not even done. One of the mechanics openly told me he didnt know what he was doing. A mechanic left his phone under the hood of my car.

I sat there today over a hour. I had asked the HORRIBLE lady at the front desk how long it would be she said I could be in and out. LIES. After, they pulled my car up she sat on the phone talking about a problem with her American Express card. The manager (Im assuming) saw that I was waiting. She still stayed on the phone before calling me over to get my keys. It was pouring raining and I had my baby and they parked my car by the road. I wasnt pissed until I see they charge you a $1 for the sticker which they didnt replace.

On Wednesday March 7th 2018 I brought my 2014 Nissan Altima for service at Precision Tune on Victory Dr in Columbus, Ga. I received diagnostic testing Monday March 5th to the local Nissan dealer at 1725 Whittlesey Rd Columbus, Ga. I offered to provide Nissan’s diagnostic paperwork to Stephanie (front clerk) at Precision Tune she said, “no we dont need it, that’s ok.” I am a Synchrony card holder so I decided to take my business where I have established credit . The diagnostic paperwork stated I was in need of a valve intake solenoid which I advised the front desk clerk. When I initially called Wednesday I was told my vehicle would be done the same day. Upon dropping my vehicle off I was told they had to order the part from Atl Ga and the car would be ready the next day. I called Thursday for an update and the part had not arrived. Still being patient I called Friday and was told the Advance Auto Parts (company they ordered from) thought the part had been cancelled and sent the part back. Surprisingly they find the part at Orielly’s in Columbus, Ga and the part would be available Saturday. At this point I’ve been without a vehicle for 3 days! Once again being diligent I called Saturday and was told the person that was picking up the part left all their parts in Atl, Ga. Which is mind boggling seeing how I was told the part was in Columbus. Of course you all are closed on Sunday and I receive my vehicle Monday March 12th. Front desk clerk called at 4:45, 1hr 15 min prior to closing to say, “your car is ready but not really because it won’t hold a charge. It wouldn’t hold a charge since it got here. I had no problem with the battery prior to this. She quoted me $180 for the battery and after the waiting an entire week and the run round about the parts I didn’t want to risk being without my vehicle so I decided to take my vehicle elsewhere which was the best decision I ever made. I asked why didn’t they advise me of this prior to now considering the car would not keep a charge, the clerk stated to me she thought I already knew since I received diagnostic testing. This is completely unacceptable not to mention an unprofessional and incompetent answer for having my vehicle an entire week to tell me the day of that I need a battery. After leaving precision tune I went straight to advance auto part less than 1 mile away to test my battery. The battery registered 12.68 while the vehicle was off. My car was not in need of a battery. To make matters worse my tire went flat before I arrived home which is less than 2 miles away and the tire rotation I was charged for never happened. My sentry touring tires are still located in the rear of my vehicle in the same place it was prior to arriving. What kind of establishment operates in this manor. No integrity or loyalty to their customers. I had to have my vehicle towed to my home. An out of pocket expense I should not have incurred after leaving an auto shop less than 30 minutes prior. On Tuesday March 13th my mother called up there to complain about the tire rotation. I was called by Stephanie the front desk clerk for a refund for the tire rotation at this point I didnt feel like seeing anyones face at this location. Needless to say I dont think I would ever use another Precision Tunes. I have documentation to support my complaints and request a full refund of the charges. This was a nightmare from being until the end and feel I may need to seek legal counsel. I have missed several days from work due to the misinformation given by your staff.

I went to have my breaks done an the front desk lady told me they had to do a break inspection first an its free then they can give me a price, ok deal well after sitting in this place for an hour an ten min. The guy call ed me to the office an tells me I need new break hoses, new calibers, new rotorys, new break pads the works... i know pads an rot. But a 200 something dollar job turned into over 1000 dollars an charging me for the inspection. What kind of place are they running here, first of all I drove the truck here so the calibers are working fine #2 he took me in the shop I showed him the break hoses they are good. In my mind I am saying to myself WTF are they trying to rip me off or what. If you need your car worked on please do not go to this place. Theres no telling how many people they have riped of in the past. PLESSE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

Went for oil change and tire rotation and was charged. when i got home tires were not rotated cuz i marked tires before bringing car in.

Friendly mechanics, and the truck wasnt in the shop all day. They did my transmission flush and inspection and the truck was ready.
