They were super flexible with my availability. Bo was very knowledgeable about what was wrong with the car and I didnt feel like they were trying to get me to do anything I didnt need to do. Their quoted price was right on the money and it was very reasonable. I would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

Had a emergency fail/repair on brake lines. They worked it into schedule ASAP. Aprx a week at shop. Couple days to get parts (entire brake line kit) and install.

They took my car after I got it towed there to tell me that it wasnt working and they wanted to charge me $98 to take my car back. I knew my car wasnt working thats why I took it there but yet they want to charge me to look at it to tell me that its not working.

I will definitely be taking my car to H K Auto again. I needed a second opinion on car repairs that needed to be made to my muffler/exhaust. The staff at H K fit my car into their already busy schedule, on short notice, and looked my car over, even though they dont do exhaust work. They evaluated the situation, determined how to appropriately fix the car, quoted me a price and referred me to another professional. They even called ahead to let the other location know what they found- all without charging me. 5 stars for sure, and Im incredibly grateful.

H K auto took very good care of my new car, making sure to treat it as if it were there own. They found the pin hole leaks in my tires I was concerned about, patched what they could to save me money, and were honest and straight forward about what i needed and did not need. Very happy with the recent repairs on my pick-up truck. I brought it in knowing of some problems and suspecting it had a front axle or 4WD issue. I made an appointment and it was fixed well before I thought they would even get a chance to look at it.When it comes to cost, I am also very happy. I have done a good bit of work on my pick-up truck myself, and the charges for this repair were much less then the do-it-yourself total costs of parts, time, and aggravation.I wont hesitate to go back if I ever need more repairs in the future.

Getting appointment in couple of days is not easy as they have lot of customers. So I had to leave my car for 2 days to get alternator replacement completed after troubleshooting. Given it was at short notice, I appreciated they could get it fixed. Didnt want to get stranded with low battery in the winter!

Friendly staff, fair prices. Relatively fast considering the current situation.

They seem to do good work. Cost wise, a bit on the high side. Also they forgot to put the vent for the floor back in my vehicle. I went back and they did not have it. They said they would order one though. Also they charge anywhere from $45 to $90 to do a diagnosis.

I love this place. They fix what needs fixed and give me the option to fix things that can wait. I appreciate the honesty and will continue to go back!

Im not sure why people like this mechanic shop. I brought my Equinox in for an electrical issue and oil change . I was told I need to drop it off over night, or before 7am to have it looked at and fixed before 5pm. I dropped it off overnight and called around 11 am to check on it the following day. HK Auto told me it will be done before the end of the day. I called again at 3:pm then again at 5:pm. I was then told it will be the following morning. SO I CALLED AROUND 10:30AM, I really needed my car back because I was not expecting the long two day wait for an oil change and electrical issue with my lights. When I went to pick it up HK Auto hadnt diagnosed my issue nor did they perform a simple oil change! Two days and nothing! I was then told I would need to leave it for several days. So unless you have a week without your car do not go here! Worst customer service ever!Reply: 2014 Chevy Equinox.. maybe there is no record because HK Auto did not perform any services on my car...

When the alternator on my van took a dump. They were willing to allow my van to be towed to their location at the spur of the moment. And without an appointment. They still had my van running just a day later. And at a reasonable price for the work.

We were treated respectfully & kindly at HK Auto this morning. They diagnosed our truck in seconds, procured the needed parts promptly, and completed the repair in no time. So thankful we were referred to HK.

Women without automobile repair knowledge beware! I used this business 3 times for repairs to my daughters car because I was new to the area and was told how trustworthy they were. I had 3000 dollars of repairs done with this repair shop, and the last time I took her car to them the man told me that the car wasn’t worth fixing and unless I wanted to get very costly repairs done it had to be removed from their lot quickly. He then told me that he would be happy to call a junkyard that would purchase it for the metal and have it towed away. Needless to say, thinking they were being honest, I took 200 dollars for a car that he said was just going to be crushed because they only give that much since they tow it away. Now the person working there is driving my daughters car he bought at a bargain price. Not an honest thing to do!!!!! I also called the place when I noticed that the car had not been moved off the lot and asked if it was a lie I was told and I was assured that if they had said it was going to the junk yard it would be soon. LiesNote: as soon as I posted my review..I was called by the Person working at H & K auto, told to revise my post.

Had my car towed here after it started stopping. Kind of a tricky issue-- the battery and starter engine were good, and I was afraid this would become a money sink.They worked me in between appointments and figured the issue out quickly. There was no upselling, and no trying to sell me additional services, like I might have gotten with a chain or dealership, and I feel I paid a fair price. Ill be back with future car issues.

Job was done. Had to follow up on the completion as I didnt get a call. An explanation of the work could have been better. Prices was on the higher side I guess.

I took my vehicle to HK auto out of a friend recommendation and I have really happy with their service. All throughout the process they kept me informed on what was going on. They actually replaced a starter but the new started ended up being faulty so they replaced that one as well at no charge.

I was taken care of well. Came in and got my breaks changed. Brought in all parts. They were able to work with advanced auto parts when the parts I picked up from them were wrong. (I did an online order and pick up, they must have messed up when I picked up my parts). Overall Great service and good prices.I had a check engine light. I was told changing a part MIGHT solve the problem so I went ahead and had them change it out. I drove it home and no change in performance, this was really disappointing. I even came back. I was told to just keep driving it and see if it changes. I dont have time to guess and check! I dont think the diagnostic I paid 45$ for was thorough enough All they did was read the codes that autozone can read for free and came to the same conclusion I did before I even came there. I know they have the capability to read further into the system, but for whatever reason chose not to. All in all I would come here again for general repairs/maintenance and if you KNOW what needs to be changed.Pros: Great Service, Friendly Staff, Good Workmanship, Good pricesCons: Did not determine my check engine light problemUpdate: Went somewhere else, its a transmission problem, got a new transmission. The engine light was unrelated.

We brought our vehicle with the necessary part. All they had to do was install the new alternator. We had to take the vehicle to the dealership because we thought something else was wrong. The dealership said that the alternator was not even connected to the battery. The wire was just hanging there. I took the paperwork to HK to get a reimbursement for the diagnostic at the dealership because they didnt finish the job. I was told they dont warranty the parts that are brought in by customers and it was put back on the way it was taken off. No reimbursement for the diagnostic even with the paperwork saying the wires were not connected.

They are very knowledgeable in all areas of the automobile. Great company and honest. You will pay for it!!! Yet its money well spent.

Dont go here expecting work to be done quickly. I had 4 tires to mount and balance and was told a week and half wait for tires....so I asked about some other things Id need done as well but because I already purchased the parts was told Id have to purchase their parts for them to do the work...having been a mechanic myself for years this shop just wants your money And if they cant make it on labor they will in parts... better look elsewhere when you bring them a potential 1000$ job and they dont even give you the light of day

2010 Jeep JK Rubicon Unlimited - so, wiper motors locked up, for keeps. I take the to car wash before taking it in because I hate to turn over a dirty vehicle to have serviced. Dunno why, call it my OCD. Anyway, something went way way wrong at C*ew Carwash. Came driving out with front drivers side break caliper locked up, pulling me to the right and generating the lovely smell of fried breakpad. I finally get it to HK. Nice fella at the desk says no prob, but you are likely looking at Thurs/Fri before it will go on the rack...and it’s Tuesday. I decided to leave it anyway, thinking maybe someone would look at it as low hanging fruit that could be turned over quick..and I was right. Had my baby back by Friday morning. These guys (and gals) are great. I have hood locks and I thought I had given them the right key. Got a phone call they couldn’t open the hood, so I drop everything and find it and run it to them knowing I was on the rack already, s customer communication is tops, too.Price was right, wasn’t recommended a thing I didn’t need...even when I sort of tried. That’s trust. I’m new to Columbus, so I live or die on trusted friends recommendations or...last resort, reviews. This recommendation was absolutely solid so I’m passing it on. Top 5 people you need to be able at absolutely trust, in order 1)Wife, 2)Preacher/Priest, 3)Mechanic, 4)Doctor and 5)Lawyer. I married #1 at the same time, have a family full of #5’s, seen way too many #2s fall from glory to bother with, but still hopeful they exist.But now I’ve got # 3 taken care of. HK’s lot is packed and they are busy. There’s a reason for this. They are the absolute best in town.

I have been servicing my car with them for the last three years. They are very qualified and honest, and they never recommend anything unnecessary.

The water pump on my car started to leak and it was in a very messy condition. I took it to HK Auto after recommendations from one of my gear-head friends. They did a good job at diagonising the issue and also resolve other sealant issues on my head seals.Overall, I was satisfied with their service and will go back there in future for any other issues.
