They were very helpful and courteous. But of course they are try to SELL you something but I was happy with my purchase. Still waiting on paperwork and a part they are supposed to replace. Its been almost 2 months.
Had an appointment on Monday morning for tire pressure sensor issue. Let them alone Monday. Didnt hear from them Tuesday so I called late Tuesday afternoon only to be told the service department couldnt be reached, leave my name and someone would call back. No call back. Wednesday same thing, no communication from service department. I called multiple times and finally got to talk to them. They cant figure out whats wrong. Thursday no calls. Friday afernoon I finally got a call from them and they had a ticket opened and needed to do some more testing that wouldnt get done Friday. Left the vehicle there over the weekend. Monday afternoon got a call they had to order a part. Picked the vehicle up and service manager said he would make an appointment for me for Friday. I called Thursday to verify and no appointment but bring it in first thing in the morning. Friday afternoon got a call that the issue was fixed. The service manager apologized for the lack of communication.I typically dont do reviews. I try to be patient with these things but the lack of communication and the issues I had to even talk to anyone was ridiculous!
Scheduled for THursday . Was told I might have an update by Saturday since the tech was looking at it on Saturday. NO FEEDBACK until the following WEDNESDAY when I was told they had dropped the transmission pan and found it couldnt be repaired??? I dont question what they found and I realize that they couldnt fix my problem COMPLETELY......but I expected a call at SOME POINT asking what should we do before WEDNESDAY !! I was in the DARK about what was being done or what was found for almost a week without a vehicle!

Just bought a used Ram truck and very pleased with it. But we are not happy with the staff. Was told they could deliver for free, with a full tank of gas and vehicle would be detailed. Only a 30 min drive and had less than a half tank of gas and the interior still had dust on it that was noted during test drive. Was pushed through for immediate sale, even when health issues were shared and asked to come back the following day. Told over and over during 4 hour wait they still have your card will only be a few more minutes. They profess customer service first. But dont follow through on promises. Love the truck. NOT the staff overall.

My experience with purchasing from Hyundai of Columbus was very smooth. There was no sales pressure and felt more like visiting friends than a business transaction. Everything was explained to me thoroughly.
I have very little issues with my Grand Cherokee, but when the malfunction indicator went off and I took it in they did everything to diagnose the problem. When I brought it home on Saturday it was running good. By Sunday the light came on again and I called Monday. They told me to bring it back. I was able to duplicate the original issue for them. They had my Jeep fixed in two weeks and I have had no issues so far. John was very helpful and patient!
My experience with Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Columbus has been extremely unsatisfactory. I took my Ram 2500 in for an issue and it has now been there 7 weeks. The communication is all but non existent. I have called numerous times to always be told they will call me back with an update, and that never happens. Ive stopped by numerous times to be told the part is being shipped as we speak. Ive asked for a tracking number on the part and have yet to get it. With all that being said I will never use the Columbus dealership again. I was in need of a truck and had to rent one for a week at $1K and was looking at having to rent another 2 weeks. I did go buy a new Ram 3500, but definitely not from Columbus dealership. Very unsatisfied customer.

Highly recommend. Michael (General Sales Manager), and Andrew (Salesman) really came through and helped us out! Our car, that we had just paid thousands to pay off, had a 7k repair. We were unable to finance because we are about to purchase a home. We werent willing to put anymore money into our car after paying it off but, as a family of 6 we had to get a vehicle fast. They made us a great deal on our old car trade for a used mini van that we plan on trading for something newer later on. We will be back!!

Im currently at the service department. This now makes three times in a row in the span of a month. I have to drive from Martinsville and back everytime. Ive wasted 2 tanks of gas and I also work nights. So many times I have to stay awake to come down and get little to no sleep before my next shift due to the fact Im stuck here for on average 3 hours. Ive asked if they could do some type of loan vehicle and I was ignored and something tells me that when my car comes out of service here at some point this afternoon it still will not be fixed. Ive pretty much given up with this service department and this dealership. This by far has to be the worst experience ive had when purchasing a vehicle. The sales department dont care and service department does not care. You guys got me for twenty grand and a three grand warranty. Congratulations

Pushy young salesman knew what I wanted and my budget and did nothing but show cars out of my range trying to get more money. Every car I saw on their site was being cleaned or inspected and pushed 35,000.00 cars at me instead.
I have been to Bob Poynter for a couple of reasons. A few years back I had to get my car door fixed in the body shop. The overall body shop experience was hassle free and was satisfied with the final work they had done. In addition I have visited the Hyundai service center to get oil changes and a couple of repairs. My experience with service center has been great so far. The work has been timely and they keep you posted on the progress. I felt the repair prices were reasonable as well.

Purchased a CPO Genesis from Dewayne, and it was the most pleasant dealership experience I have ever had. The car was in very good condition, and I would have believed that it was new. Tried to purchase some tires from the parts department, I wanted to buy 3 get 1 for a $1 deal that is going on, once talking to the parts dept. they were slow to respond and didn’t seem like they wanted to sell to me and not one question I asked was able to be answered. once they gave me a price it was 1.5 times the original quote I had received and didn’t include the deal, of course they claimed a “computer glitch” just remember to always check your quotes! I went to bob poynter Seymour instead.

Too slow. They shouldnt put cars forsale till they are thru their process. I had to wait a week a 4 days to get my daughters car I paid for in full. I had to ride them otherwise I believe we would still be waiting. Lost my business. Bought my new car in greenwood.
Made sure my 2006 Dodge Charger was repaired (after being totaled) the right way, and added some really cool ideas on the body work for an extremely fair price. Updated me throughout the whole process, while maintaining a very professional and nice attitude. Would recommend the body shop here to anyone needing work done

Took my car in early before my appointment. And left it with them. And they called before my appointment saying my car was done. The representative I dealt with was down to earth nice and very attentive. I just wish they would check everything that might be wrong with my car. But its a lot better than other dealerships. I drive past a lot of dealerships just to get to this dealership. Great people. Whatever there getting paid. Its not enough.

We had a great experience buying our car from Bob Poynter. We are located 1.5 hours away so we knew if we made the drive we were purchasing the car. We worked with Brad who answered every question, followed up with text, send additional information as request. He worked with us on placing a deposit to hold the vehicle, he was very fair on the price and terms. No hidden terms or cost. He knew we were coming with two small children so they worked quickly to get us in and out. Brad had the car fueled up and washed while we finalized documents. My experience went very well. I took the car in they registered it in provided a shutter ride home. I was called when the repair was completed. They followed up with two phones calls to make sure everything was ok and if I was satisfied with the service I received. I was just thankful the repair was a recall item and was notified by the Company that it needed to be repaired. I’m sure it probably saved me a lot of money down the road if it had gone unattended too. Satisfied Customer.

Review is for service/parts department only:They seem to know what they are doing from a technical standpoint. But their support, service/sales (not vehicle purchase sales) staff are less than awesome, their service advisors very often fail to communicate pricing, scheduling, and availability of ordered parts.Anytime you leave your vehicle there for service, be sure to ask for a detailed breakdown of charges before you walk out the door, or state that you will not accept any charges until they have been verbally authorized. For example, do not leave your, under warranty vehicle, there and ask them to investigate a problem youve been having. If they do not find a problem they will attempt to charge you the minimum hourly rate for the technician to have looked at it.If you ever try to reach them and do not get a real, live, person (you get voicemail), hang up and try again the next day. Never once have I had a voicemail returned from them (on at least 4 attempts over 3 separate visits), which leads it up to me to retry calling multiple times for information that they should have been reaching out to communicate to me.I understand this is a lot of negative information for a four-star review, but the people actually working on your vehicle do know what they are doing, Its just the people you have to deal with up front that dont.

Took in my Sonata for steering noise. Appointment made next day! Covered by warranty always great news. Had some scheduled service done also. While that was being done technician found a rear seal leak. Saved my vehicle from disaster!! Also covered under warranty! Kept informed at every step. They even drive up to Indy to get a part. Service above and beyond especially in the middle of a pandemic. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.
John Chambers was my contact person in the service dept. I am highly pleased with his knowledge and professionalism.He gave concise but easy to follow information. He was concerned about my safety,and, that means a lot to me.I would not hesitate to bring my Hyundai to him, and anyone he has confidence in.
I purchased a 2119 Jeep Grand Cherokee approximately 6 months ago. I have been there twice for minor maintenance issues. I live in Indianapolis which is approximately a one hour drive. Due to business interests I have owned either for myself or company vehicles well in excess of 100 vehicles. I must say my interaction with both the sales process and maintenance followup has been very delightful. Very few in the past were. I would recommend these people and will continue to make the trip so as to avail myself of their services.
The service overall was very good and the cost ended up being less than I anticipated. The only reason for a 4 instead of a 5 was because their automated scheduling system via their website allows you to go through the whole process of scheduling only to dead end into a phone number without scheduling anything. Not a deal killer, but a 4.5 out of 5.
I bought my Jeep here in May 2018 and had a great experience! I recently had to take it in to be checked out and I needed a rental car. The service department was great and easy to work with.I was nervous going in because i have a 3 month old son. So moving him in his car seat, the car seat base and diaper bag as well as my things isn’t the easiest thing to do especially in a hurry. BUT they let me move everything over in the service bay and a couple people helped me(wish i would have got their names) and they just made it super easy!Also, they got my Jeep fixed up and back to me relatively quick. I will go back here for any service needed and probably to buy my next vehicle!
We used the collision center for three separate repairs during December and January. They had incredible customer service from the very first estimate and the vehicles all look awesome! (They were also the lowest quote compared to 3 other places in Columbus!) I would and will recommend them from here on and I know I will never go anywhere else.

Buying a car can be a stressful thing we went to several dealerships in Columbus and we felt very pressured we went wanting to look at specific vehicles and they all would bring around a different vehicle then the one we asked to see some even being over our budget. . . Then we went to Bob Poynter and as soon as we walked in we were greeted with a friendly hello, we asked to look at a Dodge Journey and that is exactly what Waylon brought around for us! We had our 3 month old son with us and Waylon was patient with us as we got his carseat base so we could test drive it. After we drove it we wanted to think about it some more before we made a decision. The next day Waylon sent me a text asking how car shopping was going and asked if there was anything he could do to help. We went in later that day and they allowed us to take the Journey for overnight so that we could really get a feel for it! We loved it so we made the decision to buy it. It didnt have a backup camera which is something that we really wanted it to have, Waylon took care of that for us and insured us that they would have one installed! Waylon was very helpful and patient with us as we had our baby with us through the entire process! The whole team at Bob Poynter was Great! We will definitely continue our business with them!
