You no longer care about people and customer service. There is no way to talk with someone without going through your recording system. Even your coprate headquarters is void if any human support. This is the worst customer care I have ever dealt with. I was just trying to ask if I needed to make an appoinment to have a small star in my windshield fixed, or can I drop my car off, and you need to know how Ill be paying first. Maybe you should call my new windshield repair company up and ask them.

Had an amazing installer Blaine. He was very professional, courteous and quickly installed my windshield. He did such a great job I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. If you can request an installer and live in North Myrtle Beach or Myrtle Beach South Carolina ask for Blaine.

The day after my windshield replacement my rearview mirror was loose--shaking and vibrating as I drove.A tech came out to check things out and decided a new windshield had to be installed. Seems like such a waste of resources but theyre supposed to be the experts in this so I went with it.They came out again and replaced the windshield.I understand mistakes happen and things dont always go as planned. The rearview mirror isnt falling down this time, but wasnt reassembled completely. I cant blame the tech completely...I cant figure it out either. Advice for future work orders: if you cant figure it out let your employer know. The owner is going to notice.Furthermore, one windshield wiper doesnt stop where its supposed to stop. The other doesnt work at all. Now Im really unhappy. Like the last person said, they dont take calls right now and was told to send an email. I did at about 11:30 am. The entire day passed with no response. Now Im furious.I noticed Safelite blew off the last person that left a comment. Safelite, I will prevail.Both techs supremely professional.

They were suppose to repair my windshield and they said the couldnt fix it because the last people before i owned the vehicle did it incorrect and they subbed it out to glass america, with the help of usaa and now they damaged the door on my vehicle and i can get through email or phone to get this taken care of. I would not recommend them to a sole or my worse enemy because they do not stand behind the people the hire. They want you to use your insurance instead off do the right thing. HORRIBLE BUSINESS.

TERRIBLE COMPANY! Do not take your vehicle to them they will do a quick fix that will later cause a major problem to which they won’t take ownership of! Also, the only customer service this company has is a automated voice that won’t transfer you to anyone and ends the phone call, I called 8 times.

Manager says they are not responsible for tags on front windows. Out of state customers are responsible to take tags off damaged window and replace them onto new window. Manager stated Mo law prohibits them from removing tags from damaged window and placing onto new window. Manager says they remove tags! But they do not return tags that they removed from window to the customer during the completion of replacing the damaged window with a new window. Manager never indicated what they do with the removed tags. After voicing complaint with the manager at the Nixa, Mo Safelite, he indicated my car tags would be mailed to Tx address.Got a response from company indicating to call customer service so that they can help with the problem. Number for customer service ends up in a dead end. This company could care less about the customers. The manager at the Nixa Safelite in MO had difficulties getting his stories straight. Never received my tags in the mail. Did he really mail them or said he did to get me off the phone. These people who run the shops act unprofessional knowing customers never have a chance to voice their complaints to a live person in customer service.

Peyton did a fantastic job installing front windshield. He was so compassionate about the damage to the car. Cleaned up all the shattered glass thoroughly. We had three windows damaged and could only afford to replace one at this time, but he generously took the time to apply a temporary cover on the back glass. Such a blessing in a time of need.

Scheduled my service online. Attempted to get my windshield replaced. Got a call from the Tech that she was outside. But due to weather forecast we should reschedule. I say okay thats fine. She says however you will need to call back to make the new appointment. Again I say okay thats fine. I then received an email stating that due to me canceling my appointment there would be a cancelation fee. I attempt to call. However its an automated system that says due to covid and the safety of our members all inquiries must be through email. I start a chat with the online chat system and can only be told just call the number or the shop and they will have to handle it. Get ahold of the shop and got hung up on. In the end I have to wait for a refund before I can even find a place to install my windshield.

I had Safelite replace the windshield on my Lexus and the first rain water starting pouring from the dash. They came back out and found the window was not set correctly and reset the windshield. Safelite had me have the car inspected for the electrical damages that were caused and now they will not return my calls at all. Lexus will not release the vehicle due to the car being a fire hazard to drive caused by the water damage.

My windshield now rattles everytime I turn my music up past the 4th notch which is not loud at all. Tech left broken glass all in my driveway and garage where he was replacing the cracked back windshield then also left glass in the whole back seat and floor of car including my 17 month old carseat who got cut by the glass. The tech was on time and nice but leaving all that glass and having my WINDSHIELD rattle never everytime I turn on radio was not worth the 420 dollars it cost me

Zero Stars, really.Seems like customer service is gone, and no one is answering the phones. Even the corporate office phone number is redirected to the voicemail.The only way to get reserviced is to book another appointment.We did not know that Safelite broke the instrumentation console that was attached to the windshield of our 2019 Toyota Camry when we took our car into dealership service. The car dealership found the broken part, after we heard a front end rattle, a few months later. My guess is that Safelite failed to report the broken part to us, after they temporarily fixed it.No Toyota dealership will diagnose a car problem for free, but they did pinpoint the failure toward the windshield replacement -- which is better than Safelite hiding a problem. And I am out the cash for the dealership costs.Sounds like Farah Chinwalla, reviewd below, had a similar problem with broken electronics attached to the windshield.Safelite charged the insurance company over $1,000 for the replacement.Going to JNPhillips, next time.

Technican cut our defroster wires while replacing our windshield on February 19th. We have made several trips back to their shop with no sucess. The last thing they told us was the dealer would have to fix it. That was 2 months ago!!

4 trips since June 21- still not replaced. Savannah office is totally incompetent. Sent 1st glass with no defrost sensor. Ordered 2nd glass sent a tech who said he never replaced rear glass, it was his first day on the job. 3rd tech come out to say yes, a bad job had to reorder glass and clips second tech threw away. 4th tech comes out, no clips cannot replace glass. It’s now a month. Got a hold of the office, said they would email Lexus about the clips..why not call and have them sent overnight? Emailed dist mgr in Atlanta, no reply. Tried calling Columbus Ohio, such a big company has no way for a consumer to ask for help. Honestly I don’t understand how they can stay in business.Update: Day after this review, and an unsigned computer generated corporate response, I received a call from Lee in the Florida store who ordered the necessary clips by calling Lexus and two days later the new glass and clips were installed. However, the tech said clips have to be ordered for the inside back panel because it’s been taken off too many times and is loose. Sent Lee a text and he handled it. Today a very knowledgeable tech, Michael, from the NY area put in the back panel clips. However, he said the same thing as the last tech, a new inside back panel should be ordered because the whole thing is loose. The saga continues.August 7. Thank you Lee Paynter for making good on your promise to take care of the ongoing rear Lexus glass/lining replacement. If it wasnt for you, I would still be trying to get the Savannah office to deal with the problem. The tech you sent today Tristan, was very professional and completed the back lining replacement in 20 minutes. Thank you again Mr. Paynter, I think you should be President of the Company!

I have an Acura MDX 2014 which was always maintained at the dealer. For the first time I decided to make a glass claim and I was told safelite is a reputable company for glass replacement.Thay came on 5/19/21 at 1:30pm and replaced my windshield but they started seeing error messages on the dashboard regarding the lane departure warning system which was previously not there. So the tech who came to replace the glass said it needs to be recalibrated and it needs to go to the shop. So the next day the car was in the shop after a 3 hour wait they were unable to recalibrate it and told me it needs to be taken to the dealer and that geico will cover it. It was taken to the dealer and they saw that the camera was damaged in the process of fixing the windsheild. So another appt was made with safelite for 5/28/21 and the supervisor came to talk to me and told me that my car camera was broken before thay changed the windshield. But we quickly realized that the tech was inexperienced and had changed the windsheild in the driveway which he should not have done to begin with. So the supervisor told me that he will call me back today with a plan as to what the next steps would be. I never recieved a call and when I called the shop I kept getting told they will call me in a few minutes but never called back.Meanwhile I had perfectly working car before which now has multiple features that have malfunctioned because of their negligence .I checked with my insurance company who has them for a completed job. I was in disbelief that they got fully paid for a job that they never completed. This is insurance fraud.This was a horrible experience and extremely dissapointing. I expected quality work and professional behavior and got neither.If you have any electronics attached to your windsheild do not use this company

Find another company to take care of your car window needs. I scheduled an appointment of 12pm to 5pm and the technician never showed up. I called the phone number they email and a lady at the Livonia Michigan location told me to hold on she was going to call the technician for me and placed me on hold for about two minutes and go back on the phone and stated she couldn’t get in touch with the technician and told me it was 5 o’clock and there’s no one available at the main office. Somehow I got transferred to the Columbus Ohio main office and they said they were going to email the store manager and he would get back to me as of the next day which is 9/11/2020 And I have been on hold as of right now 2:30 -2:55pm. This company clearly does not care about their customer service or customers no one has resolve this matter and I will never do business with them again. Don’t waste your money on this trash company.

They were supposed to contact insurance and get everything sorted out. They did not. I got a call from the technician the morning of the appointment and he said I would have to pay out of pocket. I spent an hour on the phone, got everything taken care of then he arrived and said he wouldnt replace the windshield due to minor rust. This place is garbage. Call Glass America way better for sure, it took 5 mins on the phone and had it all taken care of with a next day appointment.

Only good glass in stock but not the glass I ordered not worth wasting time on phone with a bunch of hacks. They even left seals disconnected from the body. I knew this when I drove down the road and could heat the wind blowing in. Ill get the right glass from another shop who will do the job completely right. Terrible experience. Was having a chip due to a rock on the highway repaired. The technician showed up asked for the keys and walked away. Called me 5 minutes later and said my windshield cracked more. Walked outside and he cracked the windshield entirely across. Manager Mike Fallets said that there is nothing they can do even though the technician was at fault and did not explain the risks to me prior to working. Now they want me to pay them $500 for a windshield. Definitely seems like a scam to me. The technician told me he has done this multiple times in the 2 months he has worked at Safelite. Very disappointed!

Was very pleased with our experience. Kile was our technician and he was awesome! Showed up when he said he would, completed the job in a timely manner and swept up the front of our vehicle to boot! Safelite Way contacted our company to help with retinting their windshield visor strip and stated they would pay for the job to be done. This was back in March. As of today July 20th, 2020 Safelite has not and will not take any calls or answer their e-mails. I have e-mailed Marshall Levins a few times and he will not respond . So beware to any company they ask to take care of their customers, because they dont take care of there bills.

Best mobile glass repair around. It took them two tries. First guy who came to house was a disrespectful mouthy kid who hated life. It trickled rain for 5 minutes and said peace out after I took off work and waited all day for him. Nice Guy! On 2 ND attempt second guy was a mensch! Safelite made a bad situation good. I now see why youse are a preferred provider for Farmers Insurance ! You earned it. Kudos! Every company has bad apples. Even the baddest of apples deserve an income.

Worked here for 4 years. This place was OK. I learned alot and went through alot here. I definitely learned alot in the way of customer service. However I have seen alot of management come and go. Seen plenty of the very harsh and corporate world working for this company. The benefits were excellent here and they are very flexible on their hours. WOW...impressive service. To be frank, I initially gave them a low rating, but they came back and impressed me with their service.Someone tried to break into my car with one of those window slim jims, but the window cracked. I hired Safelite to replace the cracked window. However, a few weeks after the fix, the window started acting up...tilted in the window and ultimately fell down the door. They came back out and fixed it under warranty. Really great job! It is definitely worth paying more for the better service and satisfaction of knowing that safelite will stand by their service. Great job!

I contacted satellite through my insurance company to replace my windshield in my 2010 Mercedes. 3 weeks I have been waiting for this replacement. The first time they arrived the replacement windshield was damaged and a week later they arrived with a replacement windshield and it was damaged. Now I am in week 4 and waiting for a new replacement.This doesn’t make any sense and I am highly discouraged and will not use this company again. Additionally, I am contacting my insurance company ( who referred me to them)to inform them how Ive been treated.Update;Finally got my windshield replaced in Birmingham. They were very understanding of my situation with the Huntsville. Ala office.I don’t recommend the Huntsville safe lite office. Their service lacks the professionalism that is desired in a company this size and depth!

I had a 2017 gmc terrain I had them fix the windshield it leaked so bad there were puddles in the floor. Took it back 3-4 times to give them the chance to fix it they came up with some bull about the body seem leaking took it to walberg they confirmed the windshield was incorrectly installed so verses fix it there was so much damage from the leak, mind you the car had 5000 total miles on it we traded it in I had 10,000 in negative equity because of the damage thanks safelite you cost me 10,000 place is terrible they are not worthy of 1 star let alone 5

I made the mistake of using Safelite to replace my windshield. Its been over 2 weeks and they are still screwing around trying to get a OEM part ! My Insurance carrier already approved a real part for my car because it has several different windshields for my car based on the safety systems the car has in it ? Worse company to deal with ?

I have never been disappointed with the quality of work that the technicians provide! From the incredibly patient and sweet representative on the phone to get me scheduled and sending me a text message with a picture of the technician that would to coming, to the technician calling me when he was close to my vehicle (which, by the way, I find it to be INCREDIBLY convenient that they were willing to come out to my work & to fix my broken windshield!!) Overall a great experience. Highly recommend!

Absolutely horrible, I had the windshield replaced on my Accord 2016. The weather stripping on in my hood was no put back correctly, no of the pins that were removed to access the bottom of the windshield were put back, the windshield wiper fluid line was disconnected and never put back, so I cound not clear my windshield while driving for 4 hours. the rear view mirror was not installed correctly, the mount was not flush with the windshield. The new glass that was installed was absolutely dirty. It seemed like the technician was in a hurry to get out. I was the first appointment of the day, i cannot image how the rest of this technicians installs were. Luckily, they came back to fix it, it just sucks to have them come out to your work more than once, when they could have done it right the first time.

I used to LOVE working here but not anymore, before I felt like a person now I feel like a Robot. If you want to have to go through three different doors and be locked away, with no cellphone, no internet access, back to back calls dealing with rude people and your coaches not caring that it’s back to back and stressful apply here as a claims Adjuster Trainee. There’s more work than people and nobody is making it through trainer. Also they have a bug problem, roaches, bed bugs, flees, I wouldn’t be surprised if they had rats.

Do NOT use this company, they do not value you as a customer or properly care for your vehicle. I had my windshield replaced, the technician did not properly install the windshield and he did damage to my vehicle. If you are USAA member like I am, you have the right to choose your glass company in most states. Just because USAA has a partnership with Safelite, protect your vehicle and explore all your options. USAA members are military families, we take pride in what we do and what we have worked hard for. USAA should rethink this partnership since Safelite does NOT share the same values.

I worked here, and let me say, dont work here.They pay really well, but thats about it. You will have no flexibility in your schedule if you know multiple accounts. Even getting a doctors appointment or days off for school events is nearly impossible. I had a friend who was denied the day off for his high school graduation.If you take USAA glass or AAA FNOL, be prepared to be slammed. The calls can be non-stop if you take a busy account. I mean, as soon as you hit the release button, you will get ANOTHER call. If you take USAA the people are ALWAYS rude and entitled.The breaks are decent, but theyre very strict about clocking in. If youre a minute late in clockin in, youre late, and you get a point as a tardy. They do give you like 6 tardies and 6 call offs before you get written up.You might have to work on Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving, though. And if youre part time, no extra pay. They draft you. You wont find out until the week before.There are bedbugs and cockroaches. They spray once a month, but I was bitten by a few bedbugs on my leg, once. The place is dirty. All the chairs are stained, the carpet is dingy, the desks are covered in dust and hair.The worst part about working here are the supervisors. Lauren Meyer (who runs the floor) is incompetent, rude, and catty. She clearly has no idea what shes doing. Jordan Brown will never answer your question, and will refuse to take supervisor calls. She will also try to pick fights with you, and will talk down to you. Loni Givens also will not answer your question, and shes a liar. If you cross her, she may lie about you to get you in trouble. The job coaches play favorites, and they talk about CSRs behind their backs, and openly. They will literally sit all around one of the coachs desk and gossip about people, instead of doing their jobs.There is no opportunity to defend yourself against anything. If they dont like you, youll be on your way out. They ask people for extra hours and overtime CONSTANTLY, but they fire people every other day. They will literally hound you to come in early on Monday or sign up for extra hours.Bottom line: this place pays well. When I left I was making $15.50 an hour, nearly a year after I started at $12.00. But it is an AWFUL place to work with an AWFUL environment. Most people dont make it past the first week of training.Also, there is a mandatory drug test when you get hired. You have to do it within 48 hours at a clinic. A lot of people dont pass that, either.

No stars!!! Gave me plastic to put on my windows had to put it on myself... Had to drive with it for over a month in single digit temperatures... Terrible service...Multiple visits... No call backs... Waited over a month for them to order the wrong window twice! Now they cant provide me with a window at all!

Wish I could give zero stars. Had them come to the house for a windshield repair, the guy showed up past 5 pm when he was supposed to be between 12-5pm and I didnt get the text that he was coming or what he looked like until he left. He took an hour to call his boss about rust when my car has zero rust! He then said he could do it and then could not get the wipers off my car. He gave up after two hours and left without telling me and left an entire trash can behind. Horrible company! I called glass America and got them to come out, was $100 less and they were here and gone in 35 mins. No problem with my wipers or rust, go figure. The safelite guy did everything possible not to replace my windshield that day and kept asking me to go to the shop instead. Will never give them any future business.

I made an on line appointment with Safelite to come to my home and change my windshield. The day before they were to arrive I was contacted by telephone to tell me that I had to drive to their Bartlesville, OK store for the work to be done. NOT WHAT they advertise. Unbeknownst to me their computer changed the appointment from in home to in store. This is truly bad practice on their part. The scheduling lady was very nice, the manger, Troy, less so. When I asked for the supervisor I got the old hes not here and wont be back until tomorrow line....I would bet the guy carries a cell phone at all times.... So long story short...be very careful if you make an appointment with Safelite on line..or any other way. It should be known that Safelite has come to my home in Elk Falls, KS twice before to change windshields with never an issue.
