3/29: Came in for DSG service and mount/balance four new Pirelli tires. $400 and seven hours later I came away with one ruined tire (see photos), crazy vibrations from unbalanced wheels, and a new check engine light. They tried to put me on the road with a bubble (potential blowout) in the sidewall of a brand new name-brand tire, all under-inflated. Service manager Steve Mills says shop foreman is needed to redo the work, to ensure no further mistakes. Don’t trust these guys unless the shop foreman is available to service your car. Schedule your whole afternoon.Update 3/31: after researching what is involved with the DSG service I examined under the hood and found the air intake wiring disconnected (see photo). Reconnected myself, hoping this will clear the check engine light. What else was left undone by AutoNation technicians?Update 4/2: the car is returned with new paint damage to driver’s side roof and door sill (see photo). Something heavy or abrasive was placed on the roof and removed by sliding. Why?
Kelcie Roeder took my call and got me in for a new battery just before closing time. She prepped my ticket while I drove from across town. Techs were done for the day and she somehow convinced someone to stay on and help me. Thanks so much. Excellent customer service.
Serviced my vehicle from day one and will continue to drive miles for outstanding customer service & honesty. Volkswagen of Warner Robins is a absolute & complete joke! Year 2019, I decided to have my second service completed there at Warner Robins Volkswagen. The service technician failed to tighten the lug nuts on my tire! This is dangerous and luckily my tire didn’t come off while traveling at a low or high speed. Thank God I was not scheduled to go to work that day or even decided to travel out of town as this could have been detrimental! When I spoke to the Manager ( a white guy) over the phone to file a complaint pertaining to what happened, the Manager only blew me off by apologizing and that’s all! He never even acknowledged my feelings nor recognized just how tragic the situation could have been for others as well. That exact same day, I made it very clear that I would not ever return for service on my vehicle due to negligence and a non-chalant attitude towards the complaint. To reiterate, this 5- Star rating goes to Volkswagen of Columbus Georgia.
Auto Nation VW Service Department is best in columbus ga.
3 hours for a simple oil change that was way over priced at $130 with a “discount” for taking so long . Previous time had a oil change and did not put enough oil and low oil light came on 6k miles when it’s recommended for an oil change at 10k, so that means they didn’t put enough oil. Will never go back
Im thankful they did my oil change, especially given the global condition. But it seems that everytime I come here, miraculously there is a leak that only they seem to have detected. So the last service was not different. I understand that this is how people make their living, but if you got to lie to make a living maybe you need a new job.
I am grateful for my vehicle and those who made it possible. However, anytime we call this dealership it takes several calls and several days to get a response, or resolution!!After calling Autonation VW about an automobile, we were told to come on in everything was good to go. We called two or three different times and dates, emailed sales associates and finance manager, and sent text to the associate and mgr--to confirm that we were in fact good to go and to give an ETA of date and time we would make the hour drive to Columbus.Once my husband was granted a day off (the following week) we drove from Alabama to Georgia only to find out Nothing had been set into motion, there was no approval, and the vehicle we were interested in had sold days beforehand! We were told that they would get us into something and that it wouldnt take too long.Ha!! We waited in the dealership from 1p.m. until 8 p.m., with our 4-year-old son, before signing paperwork. There were also packages added to the cost of our vehicle that were not explained. Our vehicle has been great, but beware of long waits, inconsistent service, and read your contract!
Title Staff were the nicest, most professional, and helpful people I have worked with at a car dealership.
