At first I was skeptical due to the other reviews but Im glad I came here and gave it a shot. Ive had good experience and service with the main Tansky Toyota dealership down the street on Sawmill and figured their bodyshop would have the same attributes under the same ownership.My rear tailgate spoiler on my 2018 4Runner broke from offroad damage and needed to be replaced. I am mechanically proficient so I decided to do the swap and installation portion of the repair myself. I ordered the new OEM spoiler panel directly from Toyota parts and as expected came in an unfinished/unpainted raw ABS plastic. It needed to be paint matched to the old damaged spoiler in Magnetic Gray Metallic 1G3. Some bodyshops wont do the job since they prefer to make a margin on sourcing the part themselves or require the entire vehicle to be left there to paint match, which I didnt want to do as I still needed my vehicle.I called Tansky Autobody prior to get an estimate and explain what I wanted to do and Shawn the bodyshop manager was very communicative and thorough with answering my questions. He provided me with a quote on the spot and it was about 25% cheaper than everywhere else I have called, including a reputable local autobody chain. He explained they use the highest quality PPG and OEM spec paints and clear coats and I figured since they primarily work on Toyotas they would have more experience correctly matching a common factory Toyota paint color such as mine. He explained they simply needed just my old damaged spoiler and the new part to accurately match my paint.I then went in and the waiting area has a large bay of windows looking into the main workshop, which is large. I can visibly see in their paint area on the left a full-sized sealed paint booth with proper mixers, panel hangers and drying racks. A lot of other small shops actually dont do their painting in house and outsource it to some large chain, but here Tanskys all done in house with a specialized paint professional. Shawn then helped me inspect the panels I brought and transferred it over to their paint prep, for a quick and easy walk-in experience.The paint job was completed in two days after, and on the third day I received a call from Shawn saying it was ready for pickup, allotting a full 24 hours time to dry and cure. I went in the next morning on the fourth day and the new spoiler was visibly ready on the drying rack. Upon first inspection the paint match was spot on and perfectly matched to my old spoiler, and the clear coat was of high quality. The clear coat is what makes or breaks the quality of an automotive paint job, and here there was a noticeable thickness and weight to the clear while still being smooth and evenly applied. Shawn even went as far as providing some packaging wrap to protect the spoiler for when transporting back home. He then priced the invoice out and it was exactly what he quoted me in the preliminary call. A lot of the price savings is from not needing flex additive in the paint as this was a rigid body panel, which other bodyshops have quoted me extra material and labor costs to increase margins. Modern high quality paints do not require additional flex components anymore as the formulation improved to include those adhesion characteristics. Payment was straightforward, I paid completely out of pocket as this was not an insurance claim so I have no remarks on Tansky and their handling of insurance.I then brought it home and installation was a breeze with the other replacement parts needed and after leaving it to cure for a week longer I was able to wax and wash the panel with no problems. The paint looks exactly like new and blended so well with the rest of the vehicle that it looks like how it was before the damage, even in direct sunlight.Overall I am very happy with Shawn and his team at Tansky Autobody, with the value, quality job, timeliness and communication, and their ability to handle a special customer request with complete understanding and professionalism. I would come back for any future Toyota repairs!

Best place to get your Toyota fixed in Columbus. Friendly and helpful staff and professional service. They do all dealing with insurance and support pretty much most of them. My car was fixed properly but was not clean when I got it, probably may be because I keep it more clean. Staff was responsible and got it fixed for me soon.I would recommend this place first if you are looking for a Toyota bodyshop in Columbus.

The team at Tansky did an outstanding job on my 2021 Tundra TRD Pro’s repair. They fought with the at fault parties insurance to make sure that I had OEM parts on a brand new truck and worked hard to make sure they didn’t have to cut into the body panels for repairs. Chadd kept me informed throughout the entire process and kept me at ease. The repair looks great (can’t believe they were able to color match the Lunar Rock so well). Highly recommend!!

Went to go pick my truck up after they’ve had it for 2 1/2 weeks and had compound putty still on front bumper and both front fenders were lose and not hugging the body. I’ve been very disappointed in their service and now with their quality. I would think that since they’re a Toyota Auto Body shop they would do better work. Will never go here again.

They were extremely professional and not only explained what they had done to repair the car, but also showed me pictures taken of each and every piece that needed to be repaired. Anyone needing a car repaired this is the best place to go.

Went to get an estimate for a dented/scratched fender and they gave me an estimate of over $3,100 and said all the estimates in the area would be the same. Went elsewhere and got an estimate at $1,200!!! Typical dealership that rips people off and lies to them because they’re trusted by the average person to tell the truth and do good work. Also made an appointment for the estimate there and ended up waiting about a half hour for the guy to come do the estimate. Lady I made the appointment with was pretty rude over the phone, too. So I guess if you do want to use them, don’t bother making an appointment.

Stay away from this unprofessional crooks. They did very poor job on paint. Something as simple as paint was completely roughed up by this morons. I should have trusted negative reviews. A big mistake.

I had my Toyota Camry repaired here along with an interior detailing for my Toyota Corolla. I must say these guys are very professional and helpful though a bit pricey.I returned after 3 years for some paperwork related to old repair and the manager Sean obliges. Very sincere people to work with. I will recommend.

Very poor customer service. Man didnt not even give his name to us and stated “dont you know we close at 4??” We stated we’d come back and he again stated “Ill do iow but Im not sure it is worth it”Then told us cost would be over $6000 and why fix it!!!! (Car is a 2018)We will NOT be back. Will take our business elsewhere.

No need for appointment, walk ins are allowed, they did a very quick estimate, Mr. Smith seems very knowledgeable and courteous person. Toyota certified location, seems like they have good knowledge about other brands too. Coffee station and restrooms available.

Great experience!! They repaired my 2012 scion XB after backing into a dumpster. Here is my list of reasons why: (1) The manager Shawn didnt talk down to me like I was a girl who knew nothing about cars (2) He explained exactly what he needed to do and why he needed to do it (3) Offered me a good deal on one of their rental cars and then told my insurance guy he was putting a rush on it because he knew I was paying out of pocket for the rental (4) When I picked up my car today, he talked with me about it and made sure I was satisfied (5) The work that they did was excellent, as if it never happened at all!

I dropped my car off on July 18 after being involved in a minor collision (I was hit in the drivers side while both cars were going under 10 miles an hour). I was originally told it would be a 3 day repair.... after a few days, I received a call that there was additional work that needed to be done on the door.... lo and behold, its now August 3rd. Ive had to call them multiple times. Originally, the car was supposed to be done last week... then today.... and now it is going to be the end of the week....Update: I received my car on 8/6. The repair looks to be done well. Just concerned how long it took.

I would look elsewhere if you have to cover the cost of the repair out of pocket. The quote here, in comparison to other quotes I received in the area, put my fix at 5 business days longer and $3,000 higher. Would not recommend.
