If you love old buildings and antiques, its a must - visit.Staff: friendly and helpfulPrices: most items are out of my price range, but Im not a professional in the antique business so I dont know if theyre fair.Selection: excellent. You want an antique door/tub/sink/light/fireplace/staircase and theyve probably got it.Overall: Theyre doing good work preserving history and keeping material out of landfills! Thanks all.

The staff was not very personal and seemed as if there antique place was better than others. They were firm on there price, which mostly was very high, and really didnt know much of there own inventory . I have found much better items elsewhere and they work with you in order for you to come back . I will not be coming back here again.

This is the best place that we have found to buy architectural pieces and fences to fit an historic renovation. The store is well laid out and neat, making it easy to find what one is looking for. Their inventory is terrific.Molly and her husband are a joy to work with. They are most pleasant and and have worked to help find the exact pieces that we have been looking for.I cant recommend Columbus Architectural Salvage more.

Excatly what it says on the tin: theyve salvaged house parts, mostly from Victorian and Queen Anne (and a few Federalist style) old houses, and will now sell them to you. Need drawer pulls, transoms, door frames, stained glass windows, or old clawfoot tubs? This is your joint. They also have some odd but lovely furniture pieces like a beautifully refinished writers desk .... And a barbers chair. Highly recommend if you love junk shops, home improvement, antiquing, architecture, or scavenger hunt. The staff is very friendly, and very patient.

If you own an old house this is the place to find those quality odds and ends that are no longer produced. From locks, keys, door knobs, hinges, doors, windows, mantels, woodwork and much more. There is also an abundance of unique furniture and decor pieces if you are looking to make a statement. The prices are a little high in my opinion, but much cheaper than having something reproduced to match. Staff was friendly and helpful without being bothersome. I have my eye on a fireplace mantel if it goes on sale...

Bought some small items here before. Large place, many items but unrealistic high prices. Started to follow on Facebook market place, told them i was traveling a long distance to purchase an item and what did we need to do before hand. Read my message and removed the item with ZERO communication. Tell me its sold, tell me what steps are involved, tell me to F off. Tell me something just dont ignore someone whos bought from you and be completely unprofessional. I will never again shop online with them or in that showroom.

This is the one place to find great quality, woodwork, stain glass, and the very very unusual, down to brass fittings (Chris has drawers full). We have been putting together an old Victorian for 6 years -- it is almost perfect thanks to them. Eliza and Gene the Neil Avenue Bed and Breakfast.

Review №29

Staff is nice and helpful. Selection is very good, but I think that’s because their prices are so high that there isn’t much stock turnover. I’ve seen the same items there for months gathering dust. This is more of a ‘replacement’ salvage, because buying more than one piece of anything here is extremely unaffordable. Also, they don’t do discounts for large orders or haggle on prices. I know they pay for the items for sale (vs Goodwill and the like) so they have to get something for them, but as someone trying to restore an old home, I have to shop elsewhere to be able to afford the pieces they sell.I also wish they had better hours for people who work a 8-5 job because I can only come here on Saturdays. If you need one piece of something to replace something that broke, this is a great place because they’re almost guaranteed to have it. Otherwise it’s more of a museum that’s fun to explore.

Dont get low balled!!! I took what I suspected was a pretty good find here to sell and was offered $50 for a fireplace mantle. I held onto it for a couple more days but grew tired of hauling it around in my job trailer and reluctantly went back suspecting it would probably be sold for 800 - 1200 dollars but was told that was not the case. However, I just found it on the website listed for $950!! I completely understand that he has to make money and nobody held a gun to my head to sell it but its still pretty shady business in my eyes. Oh well, lesson learned. Next time Ill have a bonfire with it instead.

This is a gem of a place! Amazing finds, tons of wonderful pieces but the people who were there were not nice the first time I went. We dropped by about 20 minutes before closing and the first person we saw gave us a look and told us they were closing soon. No hello and welcome, just rudeness. So if you can get past that... then youve found yourself a wonderland of stuff :)
