Oakley is an amazing employee at this UPS store. He is always so friendly and goes above and beyond to help customers. No matter how busy it is, Oakley always remains in a positive mood. I appreciate all of his hard work and he truly should get a raise.
It’s hard to mail a package when the store isn’t open and doesn’t follow their hours. People matter and so do their needs, regardless if a leader or manager thinks it’s inconvenient to have to disrupt their day to cover because someone didn’t show up for work. There are other choices of UPS Stores in the area and I recommended choosing another.
Best UPS Store around. A little cramped but very friendly service. They also take Post office packages and FedEx packages without an additional fee. For FedEx however, they cannot really print out a receipt so keep that in mind. They also packed a large projector for me to go to a repair center and made it very painless.
Having been an employee of a UPS store in another state I will say this one is pretty good. The owner is very nice and he works hard at his store. The only downside is the location is pretty small. Ive not seen a large UPS store but this is pretty tiny so it gets crowded fast. To those that dont know the UPS store franchise does upcharge for UPS and USPS shipments and products. You can do what I do which is ship UPS online (look for discounts to save on shipping, they are always there) and I drop off it. I remember customers would get very upset at the prices but its for the convenience and to keep the store open. So I support the store by buying a few things here and there. Its a good store overall.
This is the only UPS store I go to. The employees are professional and customer friendly. They are always willing to answer my questions and offer cost saving solutions. This includes offering coupons for my use to help me save money.
Their email doesnt work, their printers dont work, and the staff is smug and rude. 20 minutes after they couldnt receive email they had me load it on the pc. The printer didnt work either apparently. The guy just kept saying I dont have time to fix this. I gave up and left after trying to print it for 15 minutes. 45 minutes and walking out with my package while employees are releived I just gave up.
Great store and always my go to for shipping. They always give you right on recommendations for pricing and delivery expectations. And check out their selection of cards on your way to the registers, they are outstanding!
Go somewhere else if you need something printed. I had a project printed here that was supposed to be picked up on the 18th. Here I am on the 23rd. I waited in line for 15 minutes and another 10 minutes while they checked on it for me. No one even came back to talk to me about it. I had to ask about for them to tell me that it wasnt started and he would start working on it now.
So very much better than the Columbia Post Office

I ship quite a bit of stuff, mostly for eBay, and these guys are great. I ship everything from small, fragile camera lenses to large 49-inch computer monitors and theyve always gotten the job done. The staff is very friendly and gets me in and out quickly. My customers frequently comment that the items they receive are expertly packaged.

My package had three fragile glass frames. I opened my package and much to my dismay one of the frames were shattered. There was not any cushion or bubble wrap or any kind of protection for my glass frames. They just had a this side up label on my package. I am very disappointed and if I would I would rate them 0 stars. These frames were not cheap and were $15. There is no reason my frames should not have come whole.
BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION. Brought a very expensive ($4000) musical instrument to this location. The owner (Stephano) packed it. Shipped it insured for full $4000. The instrument arrived damaged at the music store it was going to because he had packed a delicate instrument in one wrapping of bubble wrap, not center packed, not with peanut or foam around it, and in a box that was 1/2 bigger than the instrument on the sides. Obviously this was due to insufficient packing. First UPS denied the claim that this UPS Store initiated because it was not UPS shippings fault (the box was not damaged) but the terrible packing job. This store appealed the claim which they eventually lost and went through their stores insurance company to recoup only $3750 out of the total amount that I purchased insurance for, and didnt refund the shipping charge (of over $100). In summation, I paid for full insurance and for them to pack and ship it (b/c of their pack and ship guarantee), and I had to pay out of pocket over $200 to make up for the lack of insurance coverage that I was actually given plus the shipping charge including the insurance upcharge. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION if you care about your items and the packing job they provide.

This location is not great, went there because it is close. The staff was not friendly at all, the guy that helped me didnt seem to care to answer my questions and was very dismissive so it made me kind of worried about the overall service. Its definitely not good to have someone with that kind of attitude dealing with customers, I think I rather drive a bit further to different location if that means better customer service.

This is a terrible location. Had a $2500 musical instrument packed horribly in what looked like a used box. If I would have shipped it like that the instrument would have been damaged. Took back to have it repacked and they gave me a very hard time about not shipping UPS only having them pack it. They gave me inflated USPS prices and pushed me to ship UPS. Ridiculous! Never returning.The owner has replied below stating that the UPS store adds a surcharge to ship USPS from that location. The man that was rudely trying to make me ship UPS said that the numbers were the same as USPS locations. This was off by $50...not a small amount!Do yourself a favor and go to the Fedex Office near the Columbia Mall. They are fast and honest. USPS near Whole Foods is very good too. This is the worst UPS store Ive been to. Will never return.

Charged me for my amazon return even though the return was free. The reason was the package they need to use is a big one. Ive returned other and bigger items at other UPS stores and they never charged me anything for any Amazon return. Find someplace else to go to.
I dropped off a package this past week. I filled out the form with the to and from addresses. Stephano did not create the label while I was there (my mistake, never again) since there were other customers in line. By the time I received the confirmation email, it was Saturday evening. The store was closed along with the post office. I was trying to send a package to an APO address. He marked it as a FPO and also jumbled the zip code. The post office has no idea where my package is going and the military mail cannot do anything about it until 21 days after it is initially mailed. This is not the first time he has messed up an address for us. I will not return to this store again. Also he was less than helpful when I realized his mistake and went back to the store. He was too concerned about the 3 other people behind me in line. I dont write negative reviews but this incident had me livid. Unfortunately I have no idea where the cookies, medicine, etc. I sent will end up or when they will be returned to my house. The moldy cookies will be dropped at his door if they make it back here.

Extremely rude person at the store. He had been rude previously as well but I ignored and kept using this location for two years. I dont want to specifically name him or profile him.This time they lost a package and when I started the conversation while dropping off another box, he would not even look at me or listen to me. He cut me off abruptly and started helping the person behind me. I had already let another person go ahead of me as I knew my issue may take a while. The package is lost and they dont even want to listen to a single word of complaint. Please, dont use this location for your expensive or important packages. Unbelievably rude and least bit helpful customer service.
I decided to mail my friend in Chicago a care package filled with food. ($80-90)Spent $26 on priority shipping for a giant box.She never got the box.I call the store and they say it was delivered on time.This means its been stolen.Manager: we will file a claim but usually in these cases, nothing really happens and we will get the claim back.Me: So... Im confused... what can I do and what about my money?Manager: we will file a claim and see what happens. Your friend will need to file a report to the police as well.Me: ..................................................................okay?
