My husband and I used The Nest this past year for all of our plumbing supply needs for a home renovation. About 7 months after we moved in, we had an issue with our Kohler standing faucet for our tub in the master bath, which made the handheld wand unusable. Our plumbers came out and diagnosed the issue as a faulty diverter between the main faucet and the handheld wand. Since this was obviously still under warranty, a salesman at The Nest ordered a new diverter, and then we had the plumbers come back to install it. Much to our surprise we received a request for payment for the service call from the plumbing company. We had obviously paid them originally during the renovation for the all of the plumbing installations in our house, so we contacted The Nest, and spoke with the general manager Nicci Stengel, explaining that we did not feel we should be responsible for this additional bill, and asked The Nest to be responsible for it. They refused this request, stating that they had gotten us the new part (which was under warranty, of course) and that was all they would do. So essentially, theyre not standing by a high quality item that they sell ($1300), which was defective (from the factory) within a very short period of time. The manager was absolutely not willing to work with a local customer who had just spent over $10,000 in her store, and provide the level of customer assistance that one would assume would be the heart of a high end company such as this one. It goes without saying that we will not recommend this store to others.
